Description
Claims (13)
- 異なる波長を有する複数のシード光源、及び前記複数のシード光源の光を多重化する光多重化器を備えるシード光源部と、
前記シード光源の光が入力され、下り信号を伝送する複数のシード光注入反射型半導体光増幅器(シード光注入RSOA)、及び上り信号を受信する複数の第1受信機を備える基地局送信端(OLT)と、
前記下り信号を受信する複数の第2受信機、及び入力された前記下り信号を再変調して前記上り信号を伝送する複数のシード光注入RSOAを備える加入者端(ONT)と、
前記OLTと前記ONTとの間を中継する屋外ノード(RN)と、
を備え、
前記屋外ノードは、光多重化及び光逆多重化器と、前記光多重化及び光逆多重化器から前記ONTに向かう各ポートに時分割多重接続(Time Division Multiple Access:TDMA)方式の光分割器と、を備えることを特徴とするRSOA基盤受動型光加入者網。 - 前記光分割器は、分配比が1:Mである光分割器であり、
前記ONTの数は、前記光分割器を通じM倍増加しうることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のRSOA基盤受動型光加入者網。 - 前記OLTの第1受信機は、前記ONTと前記屋外ノードとの距離に影響を受けず、同じ上り信号を受信するバーストモード受信機であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のRSOA基盤受動型光加入者網。
- 前記OLTは、前記シード光注入RSOAの下り信号を多重化する光多重化器、前記上り信号を逆多重化して前記第1受信機に分配する光逆多重化器、及び前記下り信号と上り信号とを分離するサーキュレータを備え、
前記OLTと前記屋外ノードとの送受信は、一つの光ファイバを通じてなされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のRSOA基盤受動型光加入者網。 - 前記OLTは、前記シード光注入RSOAの下り信号を多重化する光多重化器、及び前記光多重化器の出力を増加させる出力用光増幅器を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のRSOA基盤受動型光加入者網。
- 前記光増幅器は、飽和出力の可能なエルビウム添加ファイバ増幅器(Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifier:EDFA)または飽和出力の可能であり、かつ線形利得を有する半導体型光増幅器(SOA)であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のRSOA基盤受動型光加入者網。
- 前記OLTは、前記上り信号を逆多重化して前記第1受信機に分配する光逆多重化器、及び前記光逆多重化器への入力を増加させる受信用光増幅器を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のRSOA基盤受動型光加入者網。
- 前記光増幅器は、飽和出力の可能なエルビウム添加ファイバ増幅器(EDFA)または飽和出力の可能であり、かつ線形利得を有する半導体型光増幅器(SOA)であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のRSOA基盤受動型光加入者網。
- 前記OLTは、前記下り信号と上り信号とを分離するサーキュレータを備え、
前記中央基地局と前記屋外ノードとの送受信は、一つの光ファイバを通じてなされることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のRSOA基盤受動型光加入者網。 - 前記OLTは、前記シード光注入RSOAの下り信号を多重化する光多重化器、前記光多重化器の出力を増加させる出力用光増幅器、前記上り信号を逆多重化して前記第1受信機に分配する光逆多重化器、及び前記光逆多重化器路の入力を増加させる受信用光増幅器を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のRSOA基盤受動型光加入者網。
- 前記光増幅器は、飽和出力の可能なエルビウム添加ファイバ増幅器(EDFA)または飽和出力が可能であり、かつ線形利得を有する半導体型光増幅器(SOA)であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のRSOA基盤受動型光加入者網。
- 前記OLTは、前記下り信号と上り信号とを分離するサーキュレータを備え、
前記中央基地局と前記屋外ノードとの送受信は、一つの光ファイバを通じてなされることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のRSOA基盤受動型光加入者網。 - 前記ONTは、前記下り信号としての下り光パワーを、前記シード光注入RSOA と前記第2受信機とに分けて分配するカプラーをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のRSOA基盤受動型光加入者網。
