Claims (2)
- 互いに等振幅で構成されるパルス信号につき等時間間隔で並べたパルス列を電波として発信する発信手段と、返信されてきた上記パルス列を受信する受信手段とを有する発信装置と、
上記発信装置から発信された電波としてのパルス列を受信し、上記発信装置に対してこれを返信する返信手段と、上記パルス列を受信してから上記パルス列を返信するまでの返信遅れ時間を演算する演算手段と、上記演算手段により演算された返信遅れ時間を上記発信装置へ通知する通知手段とを有する返信装置とを備え、
上記受信手段を介して受信した上記パルス列を構成するパルス信号数をカウントすることにより、上記パルス信号を生成する発振器につき、当該発信装置と上記返信装置との間で相対的な時間差を求める相対時間差算出手段と、
上記パルス列を構成する一のパルス信号が上記発信手段により発信されてから上記受信手段により受信されるまでの到達時間を求め、上記通知手段から通知されてきた返信遅れ時間と上記求めた到達時間とに基づいて上記返信装置からの距離を算出するとともに、上記相対時間差算出手段により算出された相対的な時間差に基づいて上記算出した距離を補正する距離算出手段とをさらに有し、
上記相対時間差算出手段は、同期が取られた後の最初のパルス信号から検出を開始し、プリアンブルの後に続く実データ領域に至るまでパルス信号の検出を継続するパルス検出ブロックと、上記パルス検出ブロックにより検出されたパルス信号の数を検出するカウンタとを有し、上記カウンタにより検出されたプリアンブルを構成するパルス列のパルス数に基づいて、上記相対的な時間差を求めること
を特徴とする測距システム。 - 上記発信手段は、UWB(Ultra Wide Band)通信方式に基づくパルス列を発信することを特徴とする請求項1記載の測距システム。
