Claims (14)
- O2−を伝導するO2−伝導部と、電子を伝導する電子伝導部とを有するイオン電子伝導層と、
そのイオン電子伝導層の一方側に、粒子状炭素質物質を酸化するPM酸化層と、
前記イオン電子伝導層の他方側に、NOxを還元するNOx還元層と、
を含み、前記イオン電子伝導層、前記PM酸化層、及び前記NO x 還元層がガスの透過性を有する多孔質とされている浄化装置。 - 前記イオン電子伝導層の前記O2−伝導部は、固体電解質によって形成され、前記電子伝導部は、導電体によって形成された請求項1に記載の浄化装置。
- 前記固体電解質は、ジルコニアまたはセリアを主成分とする請求項2に記載の浄化装置。
- 前記イオン電子伝導層の前記O2−伝導部及び前記電子伝導部は、混合伝導体によって形成された請求項1に記載の浄化装置。
- 前記イオン電子伝導層の前記電子伝導部は、前記一方側から前記他方側へ連なって形成されており、前記PM酸化層の電子を前記NOx還元層へと伝達し、
前記イオン電子伝導層の前記O 2− 伝導部は、前記他方側から前記一方側へ連なって形成されており、前記NOx還元層のO2−を前記PM酸化層へと伝達する請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の浄化装置。 - 前記PM酸化層は、PM分解触媒と導電体とを含む請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の浄化装置。
- 前記PM分解触媒は、Pt、Ag、CeO2、カルシウムアルミネイト、ランタンクロマイトのいずれかを1つ以上含む請求項6に記載の浄化装置。
- 前記NOx還元層は、NOx吸蔵物質と導電体とを含む請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の浄化装置。
- 前記NOx還元層中の前記導電体が、NOx還元触媒作用を有する請求項8に記載の浄化装置。
- 前記NOx吸蔵物質は、アルカリ又はアルカリ土類金属酸化物のいずれかである請求項8または9に記載の浄化装置。
- 流体の流路となる複数のセルを区画形成する多孔質の隔壁を備え、一方の端部が開口され且つ他方の端部が目封じされた第1のセルと、前記一方の端部が目封じされ且つ前記他方の端部が開口された第2のセルとが交互に配設されて、前記第1のセルが開口する前記一方の端部から流入した前記流体を、前記隔壁を透過させて前記第2のセル内に透過流体として流出させ、前記透過流体を前記第2のセルが開口する前記他方の端部から流出させることができるように構成されたハニカムフィルタの前記セル内の隔壁上又は隔壁内に、前記NOx還元層、前記イオン電子伝導層、及び前記PM酸化層が、この順に形成された請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の浄化装置。
- 前記ハニカムフィルタがコージェライトを主成分とする請求項11に記載の浄化装置。
- 前記ハニカムフィルタがチタン酸アルミニウムを主成分とする請求項11に記載の浄化装置。
- 前記イオン電子伝導層が粒子状炭素質物質を酸化するPM酸化機能を有し、前記イオン電子伝導層がPM酸化層ともされた請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の浄化装置。
