Description
Claims (4)
- 互いに対向する一対の側面のうちの少なくとも一方の側面を光入射面とし、該光入射面から光源光が導入される導光板と、この導光板の表面および裏面のうちの光放出面としての表面に対向して配置されたプリズムシートと、前記導光板の裏面に対向して配置された反射シートとを備えた面光源装置において、
前記導光板の表面及び裏面のうちのいずれか一方の面に該導光板と一体に形成され、前記一対の側面のうちの一方の側面側から他方の側面側に向かって延在すると共にその延在方向と直交する方向に並列された複数の凸条部と、その各凸条部の側面に該凸条部の延在方向に間隔を存して形成された複数の凹部とを備え、前記各凸条部の延在方向と前記導光板の厚み方向と該延在方向および厚み方向に直交する方向とを互いに直交する3軸方向としたとき、各凹部の内壁面がその3軸方向のそれぞれの軸方向に対して傾斜した2つ以上の平坦面により構成されるように該凹部が形成されていることを特徴とする面光源装置。 - 請求項1記載の面光源装置において、前記各凹部の内壁面は、該凹部の最奥部で交差する2つの平坦面により構成されていることを特徴とする面光源装置。
- 請求項1または2記載の面光源装置において、前記複数の凸条部のうちの互いに隣り合う任意の2つの凸条部のそれぞれ第1凸条部および第2凸条部としたとき、該第1凸条部の第2凸条部側の側面に形成された凹部と、第2凸条部の第1凸条部側の側面に形成された凹部とは、前記導光板の表面を該導光板の厚み方向で見たとき、該第1凸条部および第2凸条部の間の中心軸に対して軸対称となるように形成されていることを特徴とする面光源装置。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の面光源装置において、前記各凸条部の頂部が平坦に形成されていることを特徴とする面光源装置。
