Description
Claims (9)
- 多孔質補強膜の上に電解質粒子と電極触媒粒子をまたはその混合物を塗布して積層体とする第1の工程と、
前記積層体を加熱して電解質粒子を溶融し、外部から積極的に加圧することなく、溶融した電解質を多孔質補強膜に含浸させて補強型電解質膜とするとともに、溶融した電解質によって補強型電解質膜と電極触媒粒子を含む電極触媒層とを結合一体化する第2の工程、
とを少なくとも含むことを特徴とする固体高分子形燃料電池における膜電極接合体の製造方法。 - 前記第1の工程は多孔質補強膜と電解質粒子との間に電解質薄膜を配置する工程をさらに含み、加熱により電解質薄膜をも溶融させて、外部から積極的に加圧することなく、溶融した電解質を多孔質補強膜に含浸させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の固体高分子形燃料電池における膜電極接合体の製造方法。
- 少なくとも前記第2の工程を減圧可能な密封空間内で減圧した条件下で行うことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の固体高分子形燃料電池における膜電極接合体の製造方法。
- 電解質はフッ素型電解質であり、電解質ポリマーにイオン交換性を付与する第3の工程をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の固体高分子形燃料電池における膜電極接合体の製造方法。
- 多孔質補強膜上に薄膜状または粒子状の電解質を塗布して積層体とする第1の工程と、 前記積層体を加熱して薄膜状または粒子状の電解質を溶融し、外部から積極的に加圧することなく、溶融した電解質を多孔質補強膜に含浸させる第2の工程、
とを少なくとも含むことを特徴とする固体高分子形燃料電池における補強型電解質膜の製造方法。 - 少なくとも前記第2の工程を減圧可能な密封空間内で減圧した条件下で行うことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の固体高分子形燃料電池における補強型電解質膜の製造方法。
- 積層体の加熱を熱盤プレート間で行うことを特徴とする請求項5または6に記載の固体高分子形燃料電池における補強型電解質膜の製造方法。
- 熱盤プレートと積層体との間に伝熱シートおよびまたは保護用シートを配置する工程をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の固体高分子形燃料電池における補強型電解質膜の製造方法。
- 電解質はフッ素型電解質であり、電解質ポリマーにイオン交換性を付与する第3の工程をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項5ないし8のいずれかに記載の固体高分子形燃料電池における補強型電解質膜の製造方法。
