Description
ノック判定値=VMED+3σ
振動強度基準値=中央値VMED−(標準偏差σ×定数u)
の式により前記振動強度基準値を算出する。ここで、前記定数uは、前記振動強度基準値が前記振動強度分布の下限付近の値となるように適合した値であり、前記ノック判定値は、前記振動強度基準値に所定値を加算した値であり、前記所定値は、ノック無し時に前記ノック判定値が「中央値VMED+標準偏差σ×定数u」と一致するように適合された値である。
振動強度基準値=中央値VMED−(標準偏差σ×定数u)
ノック判定値=振動強度基準値+所定値 ……(1)
まず、図1に基づいてエンジン制御システム全体の概略構成を説明する。内燃機関であるエンジン11の吸気管12の最上流部には、エアクリーナ13が設けられ、このエアクリーナ13の下流側に、吸入空気量を検出するエアフローメータ14が設けられている。このエアフローメータ14の下流側には、モータ10によって開度調節されるスロットルバルブ15とスロットル開度を検出するスロットル開度センサ16とが設けられている。
まず、振動強度のデータを統計的に処理して振動強度分布を判定し、この振動強度分布のうちの振動強度が小さい方の領域に振動強度基準値を設定する。この振動強度基準値の設定は、後述する近似的な統計処理(図3のVMED,σ更新ルーチン)により振動強度分布の中央値VMEDを算出すると共に、この中央値VMEDより振動強度が小さい領域のばらつき指標として標準偏差σを算出し、次式により振動強度基準値を算出する。
振動強度基準値=VMED−u×σ (uは定数)
ノック判定値=(VMED−u×σ)+K
振動強度基準値=VMED−u×σ
ノック判定値=振動強度基準値+K
これらステップ104、105の処理が特許請求の範囲でいうノック判定値設定手段としての役割を果たす。
Claims (2)
- 内燃機関のノック振動を検出するノックセンサと、
内燃機関の運転中に所定のサンプル周期で前記ノックセンサの出力信号から振動強度を算出する振動強度算出手段と、
前記振動強度のデータを統計的に処理して振動強度分布を判定する分布判定手段と、
前記振動強度分布のうちの振動強度が小さい方の領域に振動強度基準値を設定すると共に該振動強度基準値を基準にしてノック判定値を設定するノック判定値設定手段と、
前記振動強度を前記ノック判定値と比較してノックの有無を判定するノック判定手段と を備えた内燃機関のノック判定装置において、
前記ノック判定値設定手段は、前記振動強度分布の中央値VMEDと、この中央値VMEDより振動強度が小さい領域の標準偏差σとを算出し、
振動強度基準値=中央値VMED−(標準偏差σ×定数u)
の式により前記振動強度基準値を算出し、
前記定数uは、前記振動強度基準値が前記振動強度分布の下限付近の値となるように適合した値であり、
前記ノック判定値は、前記振動強度基準値に所定値を加算した値であり、
前記所定値は、ノック無し時に前記ノック判定値が「中央値VMED+標準偏差σ×定数u」と一致するように適合された値であることを特徴とする内燃機関のノック判定装置。 - 前記振動強度算出手段は、所定のノック判定区間における前記ノックセンサの出力信号のピーク値又は積分値を対数変換した値を振動強度として算出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関のノック判定装置。
