Description

Claims (14)
- 画素のマトリクスを含むディスプレイスクリーンを有する双安定マトリクス型ディスプレイデバイスを駆動する駆動回路であって、
第一の表示モードで、当該駆動回路は、画素の第一の光学的状態を得るための第一の駆動電圧波形を第一の画像の更新周期の間に発生し、前記第一の駆動電圧波形を、前記ディスプレイスクリーンの第一のエリアをカバーする第一の画素のグループに供給し、
第二の表示モードで、当該駆動回路は、画素の第二の光学的状態を得るための第二の駆動電圧波形を第二の画像の更新周期の間に発生し、前記第二の駆動電圧波形を、前記ディスプレイスクリーンの第二のエリアをカバーする第二の画素のグループに供給し、
前記第一の光学的状態は、画素の2つの極端な光学的状態であり、前記第二の光学的状態は、前記2つの極端な光学的状態の間の少なくとも1つの光学的状態であり、前記第一の画像の更新周期は前記第二の画像の更新周期よりも短い、
ことを特徴とする駆動回路。 - 当該駆動回路は、双安定マトリクス型ディスプレイを駆動し、前記双安定ディスプレイは、電気泳動ディスプレイである、
