Description
本発明の他の目的は、さらに、部材の作製の際に有機溶剤等の環境負荷のある揮発性成分を必要とすることはなく、エラストマーが偏在するポリマー層においてエラストマーの分布を制御でき、さらにエラストマーが偏在するポリマー層とモノマー吸収層との密着性に優れている、エラストマーが偏在するポリマー層とモノマー吸収層との積層構造を有する粘弾性部材を提供することにある。
エラストマー含有重合性組成物層は、光や熱により重合可能な重合性モノマー、及びエラストマーを少なくとも含むエラストマー含有重合性組成物により形成される層である。なお、エラストマー含有重合性組成物は、取り扱い性、塗工性等の点から、一部分が重合した部分重合組成物であってもよい。
本発明の粘弾性部材は、モノマー吸収層の片面又は両面に、エラストマー含有重合性組成物によるエラストマー含有重合性組成物層を形成し、該エラストマー含有重合性組成物層内でエラストマーを移動させ、エラストマーがモノマー吸収層との界面とは反対側の界面又は該界面近傍に存在するエラストマー偏在重合性組成物層を得てから、該エラストマー偏在重合性組成物層を重合させ、エラストマー偏在ポリマー層を形成し、エラストマー偏在ポリマー層とモノマー吸収層との積層構造を得ることにより作製する。
モノマー吸収層は、モノマー吸収性シートにおいてモノマー吸収面を提供する層であり、モノマー吸収面上に設けられたエラストマー含有重合性組成物層から少なくとも重合性モノマーを吸収することができればよい。このようなモノマー吸収層を形成するものとしては、例えば紙製シート(例えば、クラフト紙やクレープ紙、和紙など);繊維系シート(例えば、布、不織布、ネットなど);多孔質フィルム;ポリマー(アクリル系ポリマー、ポリウレタン樹脂、エチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体、エポキシ樹脂);天然ゴム;合成ゴムなどが挙げられる。なお、モノマー吸収層は、これらを単独で又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
モノマー吸収性シートが基材付きモノマー吸収性シートである場合に用いられる基材としては、例えば、紙などの紙系基材;布、不織布、ネットなどの繊維系基材;金属箔、金属板などの金属系基材;プラスチックのフィルムやシートなどのプラスチック系基材;ゴムシートなどのゴム系基材;発泡シートなどの発泡体や、これらの積層体[例えば、プラスチック系基材と他の基材との積層体や、プラスチックフィルム(又はシート)同士の積層体など]等の適宜な薄葉体を用いることができる。基材としては、プラスチックのフィルムやシートなどのプラスチック系基材を好適に用いることができる。このようなプラスチックのフィルムやシートにおける素材としては、例えば、ポリエチレン(PE)、ポリプロピレン(PP)、エチレン−プロピレン共重合体、エチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体(EVA)等のα−オレフィンをモノマー成分とするオレフィン系樹脂;ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)、ポリエチレンナフタレート(PEN)、ポリブチレンテレフタレート(PBT)等のポリエステル系樹脂;ポリ塩化ビニル(PVC);酢酸ビニル系樹脂;ポリフェニレンスルフィド(PPS);ポリアミド(ナイロン)、全芳香族ポリアミド(アラミド)等のアミド系樹脂;ポリイミド系樹脂;ポリエーテルエーテルケトン(PEEK)などが挙げられる。これらの素材は、単独で又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。
本発明では、モノマー吸収層の少なくとも一方の面に、エラストマー含有重合性組成物を用いてエラストマー含有重合性組成物層を設け、エラストマー偏在重合性組成物層を得てから、該エラストマー偏在重合性組成物層を重合させ、エラストマー偏在ポリマー層を形成するが、エラストマー偏在重合性組成物層を重合する際、空気中の酸素等により反応が阻害されるため、カバーフィルムでエラストマー偏在重合性組成物層表面を覆うことが好ましい。また、粘弾性部材を利用する際には、カバーフィルムを剥がして用いてもよいし、カバーフィルムを剥がさずに用いてもよい。なお、粘弾性部材を利用する際にカバーフィルムを剥がさずに用いる場合、カバーフィルムは、粘弾性部材の一部として用いられる。
本発明の粘弾性部材は、少なくともポリマー層と、該ポリマー層を構成するモノマー成分のうち少なくともひとつのモノマーを吸収できるモノマー吸収層との積層構造を有する部材であって、該ポリマー層がエラストマーをモノマー吸収層とは反対側の界面又は該界面近傍に偏在する形態(偏析する形態)で含有するエラストマー含有偏在ポリマー層(エラストマー含有偏析ポリマー層)である部材である。
モノマー成分として、2−エチルヘキシルアクリレート:90重量部、アクリル酸:10重量部、光重合開始剤(商品名「イルガキュア651」チバ・スペシャルティ・ケミカルズ社製):0.05重量部、及び光重合開始剤(商品名「イルガキュア184」チバ・スペシャルティ・ケミカルズ社製):0.05重量部を、攪拌機、温度計、窒素ガス導入管、冷却管を備えた4つ口のセパラブルフラスコ中で均一になるまで攪拌した後、窒素ガスによりバブリングを1時間行って溶存酸素を除去した。その後、高圧水銀灯により紫外線をフラスコ外側より照射して重合し、適度な粘度になった時点でランプを消灯、窒素吹き込みを停止して、重合率7%の一部が重合した組成物(シロップ)(「光重合性シロップ(A)」と称する場合がある)を調製した。
2−エチルヘキシルアクリレート:90重量部、アクリル酸:10重量部からなるモノマー混合物に、スチレン−エチレン−ブチレンブロック共重合体(SEBS)(商品名「KRATON G1650」クレイトンポリマージャパン社製):22.5重量部を加え、60℃で6時間攪拌してSEBSを完全に溶解させた。その後、室温(25℃)まで冷却し、この粘調なモノマー混合物に、光重合開始剤(商品名「イルガキュア651」チバ・スペシャルティ・ケミカルズ社製):0.3重量部、粘着付与樹脂としての水素化石油系樹脂(商品名「アルコンP115」荒川化学工業社製):4.5重量部、及び架橋剤としての1,6−ヘキサンジオールジアクリレート:0.1重量部を加えて、均一になるまで攪拌してエラストマー含有重合性組成物(「エラストマー含有重合性組成物(A)」と称する場合がある)を得た。

2−エチルヘキシルアクリレート:90重量部、アクリル酸:10重量部からなるモノマー混合物に、スチレン−エチレン−ブチレンブロック共重合体(SEBS)(商品名「KRATON G1650」クレイトンポリマージャパン社製):22.5重量部を加え、60℃で6時間攪拌してSEBSを完全に溶解させた。その後、室温(25℃)まで冷却し、この粘調なモノマー混合物に、光重合開始剤(商品名「イルガキュア651」チバ・スペシャルティ・ケミカルズ社製):0.3重量部、粘着付与樹脂としての水素化石油系樹脂(商品名「アルコンP115」荒川化学工業社製):22.5重量部、及び架橋剤としての1,6−ヘキサンジオールジアクリレート:0.1重量部を加えて、均一になるまで攪拌してエラストマー含有重合性組成物(「エラストマー含有重合性組成物(C)」と称する場合がある)を得た。
2−エチルヘキシルアクリレート:90重量部、アクリル酸:10重量部からなるモノマー混合物に、スチレン−ブタジエンブロック共重合体(SBS)(商品名「KRATON D1101」クレイトンポリマージャパン社製):22.5重量部を加え、60℃で6時間攪拌してSBSを完全に溶解させた。その後、室温(25℃)まで冷却し、この粘調なモノマー混合物に、光重合開始剤(商品名「イルガキュア651」チバ・スペシャルティ・ケミカルズ社製):0.3重量部、粘着付与樹脂としての水素化石油系樹脂(商品名「アルコンP115」荒川化学工業社製):11重量部、及び架橋剤としての1,6−ヘキサンジオールジアクリレート:0.1重量部を加えて、均一になるまで攪拌してエラストマー含有重合性組成物(「エラストマー含有重合性組成物(D)」と称する場合がある)を得た。
2−エチルヘキシルアクリレート:90重量部、アクリル酸:10重量部からなるモノマー混合物に、スチレン−イソプレンブロック共重合体(SIS)(商品名「KRATON D1107」クレイトンポリマージャパン社製):22.5重量部を加え、60℃で6時間攪拌してSBSを完全に溶解させた。その後、室温(25℃)まで冷却し、この粘調なモノマー混合物に、光重合開始剤(商品名「イルガキュア651」チバ・スペシャルティ・ケミカルズ社製):0.3重量部、粘着付与樹脂としての水素化石油系樹脂(商品名「アルコンP115」荒川化学工業社製):11重量部、及び架橋剤としての1,6−ヘキサンジオールジアクリレート:0.1重量部を加えて、均一になるまで攪拌してエラストマー含有重合性組成物(「エラストマー含有重合性組成物(E)」と称する場合がある)を得た。
カバーフィルムは、片面がシリコーン系離型処理された、厚さ38μmの2軸延伸ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム(商品名「MRN38」三菱化学ポリエステルフィルム社製)を用いた。
基材フィルムは、片面がシリコーン系離型処理された、厚さ38μmの2軸延伸ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム(商品名「MRF38」三菱化学ポリエステルフィルム製)を用いた。
光重合性シロップ(A):100重量部に1,6−ヘキサンジオールジアクリレート:0.1重量部を均一に混合した光重合性シロップ組成物(「光重合性シロップ組成物(A)」と称する場合がある)を、前記基材フィルムの離型処理された面に、硬化後の厚さが30μmとなるように塗布し、光重合性シロップ組成物層を形成させた。そして、該層上に、離型処理された面が接する形態で上記カバーフィルムを貼り合わせ、ブラックライトを用いて紫外線(照度:5mW/cm2)を両面から同時に5分間照射し、該層を硬化させてモノマー吸収層を形成させることにより、モノマー吸収層表面が上記カバーフィルムで保護されている基材付きモノマー吸収性シート(「基材付きモノマー吸収性シート(A)」と称する場合がある)を作製した。
上記カバーフィルムの離型処理された面に、下記表1に対応するエラストマー含有重合性組成物を、部材作製後のモノマー吸収層及びエラストマー含有光重合硬化層の合わせた厚さがおおよそ80μmとなるように塗布して、カバーフィルム上にエラストマー含有重合性組成物層を有するシートを作製した。
該カバーフィルム上にエラストマー含有重合性組成物層を有するシートを、カバーフィルムを剥がしてモノマー吸収層を露出させた基材付きモノマー吸収性シート(A)に、モノマー吸収層とエラストマー含有重合性組成物層とが接する形態で貼り合わせて、積層体を形成した。
次に、該積層体を、積層体形成後から1分後に、光源としてブラックライトランプを用いて紫外線(照度:5mW/cm2)を両面から同時に5分間照射し、エラストマー含有重合性組成物層を硬化させてエラストマー含有光重合硬化層(エラストマー配合光重合硬化層、)を形成させることにより、それぞれの実施例の部材を作製した。
エラストマー含有重合性組成物を部材作製後のエラストマー含有光重合硬化層の厚さが50μmとなるように塗布したこと、及び基材付きモノマー吸収性シート(A)の代わりに前記基材フィルムを用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、部材を作製した。
エラストマー含有重合性組成物を部材作製後のエラストマー含有光重合硬化層の厚さが50μmとなるように塗布したこと、及び基材付きモノマー吸収性シート(A)の代わりに前記基材フィルムを用いたこと以外は、実施例2と同様にして、部材を作製した。
エラストマー含有重合性組成物を部材作製後のエラストマー含有光重合硬化層の厚さが50μmとなるように塗布したこと、及び基材付きモノマー吸収性シート(A)の代わりに前記基材フィルムを用いたこと以外は、実施例3と同様にして、部材を作製した。
エラストマー含有重合性組成物を部材作製後のエラストマー含有光重合硬化層の厚さが50μmとなるように塗布したこと、及び基材付きモノマー吸収性シート(A)の代わりに前記基材フィルムを用いたこと以外は、実施例4と同様にして、部材を作製した。
エラストマー含有重合性組成物を部材作製後のエラストマー含有光重合硬化層の厚さが50μmとなるように塗布したこと、及び基材付きモノマー吸収性シート(A)の代わりに前記基材フィルムを用いたこと以外は、実施例5と同様にして、部材を作製した。
実施例及び比較例について、下記の(部材のエラストマー含有光重合硬化層表面の接着力の測定方法)、(部材のモノマー吸収層表面の接着力の測定方法)、(全光透過率及びヘイズの測定方法)、により、それぞれの被着体に対する部材のエラストマー含有光重合硬化層表面及びモノマー吸収層表面の接着力、全光透過率、ヘイズ値を測定した。また、下記の(汚染性の評価方法)及び(部材の外観の評価方法)により汚染性及び部材の外観を評価した。これらの測定結果又は評価結果は、表2に示した。
部材の基材付きモノマー吸収性シートの基材フィルムを剥がし、厚さ:38μmの2軸延伸ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム(商品名「ルミラーS10」東レ社製)を貼り合わせて、幅:20mm、長さ:150mmにカットすることにより、測定用サンプルを得た。
該サンプルから、カバーフィルムを剥がしてエラストマー含有光重合硬化層表面を露出させ、23℃の雰囲気下、被着体[ポリプロピレン板(PP板)、ステンレス板(SUS板)]に、5kgローラ、1往復の条件で圧着して、23℃で30分間エージングした後、23℃の雰囲気下で引張試験機(商品名「TCM−1kNB」ミネベア社製)を用いて、引張速度300mm/分で、180°の剥離方向に、被着体から測定用サンプルを引き剥がすことにより、接着力としての180°引き剥がし接着強度を測定した。
部材のカバーフィルムを剥がし、厚さ:38μmの2軸延伸ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム(商品名「ルミラーS10」東レ社製)を貼り合わせて、幅:20mm、長さ:150mmにカットすることにより、測定用サンプルを得た。
該サンプルから、基材付きモノマー吸収性シートの基材フィルムを剥がしてモノマー吸収層表面を露出させ、23℃の雰囲気下、被着体[ポリプロピレン板(PP板)、ステンレス板(SUS板)]に、5kgローラ、1往復の条件で圧着して、23℃で30分間エージングした後、23℃の雰囲気下で引張試験機(商品名「TCM−1kNB」ミネベア社製)を用いて、引張速度300mm/分で、180°の剥離方向に、被着体から測定用サンプルを引き剥がすことにより、接着力としての180°引き剥がし接着強度を測定した。
上記の部材のエラストマー含有光重合硬化層表面の接着力の測定終了後の被着体(ポリプロピレン板、ステンレス板)、及び部材のモノマー吸収層表面の接着力の測定終了後の被着体(ポリプロピレン板、ステンレス板)を目視で観察し、汚染(貼付跡としての白い汚染等)がみられない場合を良好(○)と評価し、一方汚染がみられる場合を不良(×)と評価した。
実施例及び比較例の部材からカバーフィルムを剥がして、エラストマー含有光重合硬化層を露出させ、該露出したエラストマー含有光重合硬化層側から目視で観察し、濁りがなく、透明である場合を「透明」と評価し、白く濁っている場合を「白濁」と評価した。
部材のカバーフィルムを剥がして、エラストマー含有光重合硬化層を露出させ、測定用サンプルとした。そして、該測定用サンプルのエラストマー含有光重合硬化層側の面から、濁度計(商品名「ヘーズメーターHM−150」村上色彩技術研究所社製)を用い、JIS K 7361及びJIS K 7136に基づいて、全光線透過率及びヘイズを測定した。
なお、測定は3回行い、その平均値を部材の全光線透過率及びヘイズとした。
走査型電子顕微鏡(SEM)で、カバーフィルムを剥がしたそれぞれの部材の部材断面を観察した。なお、走査型電子顕微鏡(SEM)として、株式会社日立ハイテクノロジーズ製S−3400Nを使用した。それぞれの部材の部材断面の走査型電子顕微鏡写真(SEM像)を、図1〜図8に示した。なお、部材を示す図において、部材断面の走査型電子顕微鏡写真の倍率は、1000倍である。また、各図において、「A層」はエラストマー含有光重合硬化層を意味し、「C層」はエラストマー含有光重合硬化層のエラストマー偏在部を意味する。
前記走査型電子顕微鏡(SEM)で部材の断面を観察することや、基材付きモノマー吸収性シート及び部材の厚さの1/1000ダイヤルゲージを用いた測定により、エラストマー含有光重合硬化層の厚さ(厚さ:A)、モノマー吸収層の厚さ(厚さ:B)、エラストマー含有光重合硬化層におけるエラストマーが偏在している部分(エラストマー偏在部、エラストマー偏析部)の厚さ(厚さ:C)を求めた。これらの厚さについては、表3のそれぞれの厚さの欄に示した。また、下記の(偏析率の算出方法)により偏析率を求め、さらに下記の(占有率の算出方法)により占有率を求め、これらの値を表3のそれぞれの偏析率あるいは占有率の欄に示した。
なお、エラストマー含有光重合硬化層の厚さ(厚さ:A)は、測定値ではなく、理論値である。
なお、エラストマー含有光重合硬化層中のエラストマー偏在部の厚さは、走査型電子顕微鏡による部材断面の走査型電子顕微鏡写真から測定した平均の値である。
エラストマー含有光重合硬化層の偏析率は、下記式より算出した。
偏析率(%)=(1−C/A)×100
エラストマー偏在部がモノマー吸収層とエラストマー含有光重合硬化層との積層構造の厚さ(厚さ:A+B、全体の厚さ)におけるエラストマー含有光重合硬化層表面から深さ方向(厚さ方向)に占める割合(占有率)は、下記式より算出した。

- ポリマー層と、そのポリマーを構成する少なくとも1種のモノマー成分を吸収可能なモノマー吸収層との積層構造を有する部材であって、該ポリマー層が、モノマー吸収層とは反対側の界面又は該界面近傍に偏って分布する形態でエラストマーを含むエラストマー偏在ポリマー層であることを特徴とする粘弾性部材。
- モノマー吸収層とは反対側の界面近傍が、モノマー吸収層とは反対側の界面から厚み方向の全厚みに対して50%以内の領域である請求項1記載の粘弾性部材。
- モノマー吸収層が、ポリマーからなるモノマー吸収ポリマー層である請求項1又は2記載の粘弾性部材。
- モノマー吸収層が、粘着剤層である請求項1〜3の何れかの項に記載の粘弾性部材。
- エラストマー偏在ポリマー層のポリマーが、アクリル系ポリマーである請求項1〜4の何れかの項に記載の粘弾性部材。

- 重合性モノマーを吸収可能なモノマー吸収性シートのモノマー吸収面上に、重合性モノマー及びエラストマーを少なくとも含有するエラストマー含有重合性組成物からなるエラストマー含有重合性組成物層が積層され、さらにエラストマー含有重合性組成物層上にカバーフィルムが積層された構成を有している積層体を作製し、エラストマー含有重合性組成物層内でエラストマーを移動させて、エラストマーがモノマー吸収層とは反対側の界面又は該界面近傍に偏って分布しているエラストマー偏在重合性組成物層を得た後、該エラストマー偏在重合性組成物層を重合させ、エラストマーがモノマー吸収層とは反対側の界面又は該界面近傍に偏って分布しているエラストマー偏在ポリマー層を形成し、エラストマー偏在ポリマー層とモノマー吸収層との積層構造を有する部材を得ることを特徴とする粘弾性部材の製造方法。
- 重合性モノマーを吸収可能なモノマー吸収層の少なくとも一方の面に、重合性モノマー、エラストマー、及び粘着付与樹脂を少なくとも含有する重合性組成物からなる重合性組成物層を設けることにより、該重合性組成物層内でエラストマー及び粘着付与樹脂を移動させて、エラストマー及び粘着付与樹脂がモノマー吸収層とは反対側の界面又は該界面近傍に偏って分布している重合性組成物層を得た後、該重合性組成物層を重合させて、エラストマー及び粘着付与樹脂がモノマー吸収層とは反対側の界面又は該界面近傍に偏って分布しているポリマー層を形成し、エラストマー及び粘着付与樹脂が偏在するポリマー層とモノマー吸収層との積層構造を有する部材を得ることを特徴とする粘弾性部材の製造方法。
- 重合性モノマーを吸収可能なモノマー吸収性シートのモノマー吸収面上に、重合性モノマー、エラストマー、及び粘着付与樹脂を少なくとも含有する重合性組成物からなる重合性組成物層が積層され、さらに該重合性組成物層上にカバーフィルムが積層された構成を有している積層体を作製し、該重合性組成物層内でエラストマー及び粘着付与樹脂を移動させて、エラストマー及び粘着付与樹脂がモノマー吸収層とは反対側の界面又は該界面近傍に偏って分布している重合性組成物層を得た後、該重合性組成物層を重合させ、エラストマー及び粘着付与樹脂がモノマー吸収層とは反対側の界面又は該界面近傍に偏って分布しているポリマー層を形成し、エラストマー及び粘着付与樹脂が偏在するポリマー層とモノマー吸収層との積層構造を有する部材を得ることを特徴とする粘弾性部材の製造方法。
