抜歯した中切歯を根管用ファイルで、標準サイズまで処置すると、歯の残りの壁は同様のサイズとなった。歯根を下記のように修復した。
群1(15の歯)−陽性対照−根管充填無し。
群2(15の歯)−側方加圧充填ガッタパーチャおよびAH26シーラーを充填した根管。
群3(15の歯)−垂直加圧充填ガッタパーチャおよびAH26根管シーラーを充填した根管。
群4(15の歯)−根管壁を、セルフエッチプライマで処置し、根管シーラントシーラーを充填し、その後、本発明による樹脂パーチャを垂直充填した。
全ての歯根を100%の湿度の容器に2週間入れ、強度試験を実施した。2週間後、樹脂上方に歯根8mmが残るように、市販の樹脂を有するプラスチックリング内に歯を載置した。リングをインストロン(Instron)機械内に載置した。この機械では、ボール付属部品が配置され、作動させると歯の長軸に沿ってV字型の力が働くようになっている。図3および4について説明すると、これらの図にはインストロン機械内へのサンプルの配置が示されている。歯の上のボールの正確な位置が確認されると、インストロン機械が作動し、破砕するまで、歯根に徐々に増加する力が印加された。各群における各歯に対する破砕耐性(破砕力)を記録し、群に対する平均破砕値を下記表2において比較する。
約40%の量のユニオンカーバイド(Union Carbide)から入手可能なポリカプロラクトン、約30%の量のバイオガラス(Bioglass、登録商標)(U.S.バイオマテリアルズ(Biomaterials)から入手可能)と同様の組成を有する生物活性ガラス、約20%の量のUSPグレードの酸化亜鉛、約10%の量の放射不透明(radio−opacifying)剤としての硫酸バリウムを含む組成物を製造した。組成物を形成する方法は、ポリカプロラクトンを約70℃で加熱し軟化状態とする工程を含んだ。その後、残りの成分を添加し、混練、加圧または混合作用下で混合し、完全にポリカプロラクトンにブレンドし、均質な生地(dough)を形成させた。形成した化合物はその後、キャリヤ装置に適用する準備ができた。
約30%の量のポリカプロラクトン、約10%の量のカプロラクトン(メタクリルオキシ)エチルエステル(CMEE)、約30%の量のリン酸三カルシウム、および約10%の量の酸化亜鉛を含む組成物を製造した。組成物を形成する方法は、ポリカプロラクトン(ユニオンカーバイドから入手可能)を約70℃で加熱し軟化状態とする工程を含んだ。その後、残りの成分を添加し、混練、加圧または混合作用下で混合し、完全にポリカプロラクトンにブレンドし、均質な生地を形成させた。形成させた化合物はその後、キャリヤ装置に適用する準備ができた。
上記表3の組成物を、対流式オーブン内、約80℃で軟化させた。材料が加工可能なコンシステンシー(workable consistency)である間に、2つのガラススライド間の直径15mm、厚さ1.2mmの鋼モールドに入れ、ベンチ温度まで冷却させた。サンプルディスクを形成させ、ガラススライドおよびモールドを除去した。縁からバリを除去するのにいくらかのトリミングが必要であった。各試験材料用の5つのディスクを準備した。
本明細書内の組成物の可撓性を試験するために、義歯床用ポリマ類のためのADA仕様書番号12において記述されているような横たわみ試験のための試験装置を試験用に適合させた。材料が軟化状態にある間に、テフロン(登録商標)の分割可能モールド内で試験サンプルを50×3×3mmのバーとした。負荷ノウズ(loading nose)を介して、試験サンプルの中央に500gの加重を印加した。2つの支持体間の距離は30mmであった。1分後(サンプルが静置期間中に壊れていなければ)静止負荷を除去し、最大たわみ距離を測定、記録した。各試験材料に対し、3つの試験サンプルを実施した。試験結果を表5に示す。
Claims (44)
- 根管シーラントに対する接着強度が3MPa以上である生物分解性熱可塑性ポリマと、
必要に応じて用いる、生物活性フィラーと、
を備え、
前記生物分解性熱可塑性ポリマは、ポリカプロラクトン類を含む、空洞および根管のための歯科充填材。 - 前記生物分解性熱可塑性ポリマは、10質量%〜100質量%の量で存在する、請求項1記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記生物活性フィラーは、90質量%までの量で存在する、請求項1記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記生物活性フィラーは、バイオガラス、リン酸カルシウム、ポルトランドセメント、ヒドロキシアパタイト、リン酸三カルシウム、ジもしくはポリリン酸、抗エストロゲン、フッ化ナトリウム調製物、リン酸のカルシウムに対する比率が自然の骨と同様である物質、またはこれらの混合物を含む、請求項1記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記生物活性フィラーは、骨粉、骨結晶、骨もしくは歯のミネラル画分、またはこれらの混合物を含む、請求項1記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記生物活性フィラーは、ナノサイズ、ミクロサイズ、マクロサイズ形態の粒状または繊維状フィラー、またはこれらの混合物を含む、請求項1記載の歯科充填材。
- 可塑剤をさらに含む、請求項1記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記可塑剤が、90質量%までの量で存在する、請求項7記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記可塑剤が、ポリオール、ポリオレフィンまたはこれらの混合物を含む、請求項7記載の歯科充填材。
- 接着剤をさらに含む、請求項1記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記接着剤が、アクリレート、メタクリレート、またはそれらの混合物を含む、請求項10記載の歯科充填材。
- ポリマ樹脂、追加のフィラー、顔料、染料、抗生物質、抗う蝕性物質、抗菌物質、抗炎症性物質、生物的に活性な物質または治療物質をさらに含む、請求項1記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記ポリマ樹脂が、ポリアミド類、ポリエステル類、ポリオレフィン類、ポリイミド類、ポリアリーレート類、ポリウレタン類、ビニルエステル類、エポキシ系材料、スチレン類、スチレンアクリロニトリル類、ABSポリマ類、ポルスルホン類、ポリアセタール類、ポリカーボネート類、ポリフェニレンスルフィド類、ポリアリールスルフィド類、アクリロニトリル−ブタジエン−スチレンコポリマ類、ポリウレタンジメタクリレート類、トリエチレングリコールジメタクリレート、ポリエチレングリコールジメタクリレート、ウレタンジメタクリレート、ヘキサンジオールジメタクリレート、ポリカーボネートジメタクリレート、ビスフェノールAおよびグリシジルメタクリレートの縮合生成物、2,2’−ビス[4−(3−メタクリルオキシ−2−ヒドロキシプロポキシ)−フェニル]−プロパンおよびこれらの混合物を含む、請求項12記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記追加のフィラーは放射線不透過化フィラーを含む、請求項12記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記追加のフィラーは、シリカ、シリケートガラス、石英、酸化亜鉛、硫酸バリウム、ケイ酸バリウム、ケイ酸ストロンチウム、ホウケイ酸バリウム、ホウケイ酸ストロンチウム、ボロシリケート、ケイ酸リチウム、アモルファスシリカ、BiOClなどのビスマス化合物、アンモニア化または脱アンモニア化リン酸カルシウムおよびアルミナ、ジルコニア、酸化スズ、およびチタニア、アパタイト類、シリカガラスフィラー、ケイ酸カルシウム系フィラー、ヒドロキシアパタイト類、硫酸バリウム、次炭酸ビスマス、またはこれらの混合物を含む、請求項12記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記追加のフィラーは繊維状フィラーを含む、請求項12記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記繊維状フィラーは、ガラス、セラミック、金属、炭素、グラファイト、またはポリマファイバを含む、請求項16記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記ポリマファイバは、セルロース、ポリアミド、アラミド、ポリエステル、ポリアラミド、アクリル、ビニル、モダクリル、ポリオレフィン、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、またはこれらの混合物を含む、請求項17記載の歯科充填材。
- ハンドルと、
軸と、
前記軸上に配置された歯科充填材であって、前記歯科充填材は、根管シーラントに対する接着強度が3MPa以上である生物分解性熱可塑性ポリマと、必要に応じて用いる、生物活性フィラーと、を含む歯科充填材と、

前記生物分解性熱可塑性ポリマは、ポリカプロラクトン類を含む、歯の根管に歯科充填材を適用するための器具。 - 前記生物活性フィラーは、バイオガラス、リン酸カルシウム、ポルトランドセメント、ヒドロキシアパタイト、リン酸三カルシウム、ジもしくはポリリン酸、抗エストロゲン、フッ化ナトリウム調製物、リン酸のカルシウムに対する比率が自然の骨と同様である物質、またはこれらの混合物を含む、請求項19記載の器具。
- ポスト部分と、
先端部分であって、前記先端部分は歯科充填材を含み、前記歯科充填材は、根管シーラントに対する接着強度が3MPa以上である生物分解性熱可塑性ポリマと、必要に応じて用いる、生物活性フィラーと、を含む、先端部分と、

前記生物分解性熱可塑性ポリマは、ポリカプロラクトン類を含む、歯内治療用ポスト。 - 前記先端部分は、前記ポスト部分と一体である、請求項21記載の歯内治療用ポスト。
- 前記ポスト部分は、金属、プラスチック、コンポジット、セラミック、ガラスまたはポリマ材料から作製される、請求項21記載の歯内治療用ポスト。
- 前記生物活性フィラーは、バイオガラス、リン酸カルシウム、ポルトランドセメント、ヒドロキシアパタイト、リン酸三カルシウム、ジもしくはポリリン酸、抗エストロゲン、フッ化ナトリウム調製物、リン酸のカルシウムに対する比率が自然の骨と同様である物質、またはこれらの混合物を含む、請求項21記載の歯内治療用ポスト。
- 根管シーラントに対する接着強度が3MPa以上である熱可塑性ポリマと、
必要に応じて用いる、生物活性フィラーと、

前記熱可塑性ポリマは、ポリカプロラクトン類を含む生物分解性ポリマであり、
前記生物活性フィラーは、バイオガラス、リン酸カルシウム、ポルトランドセメント、ヒドロキシアパタイト、リン酸三カルシウム、ジもしくはポリリン酸、抗エストロゲン、フッ化ナトリウム調製物、リン酸のカルシウムに対する比率が自然の骨と同様である物質、およびこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、空洞および根管のための歯科充填材。 - 請求項1記載の歯科充填材であって、
前記歯科充填材は、スプリットチャンバ細菌漏出モデルを使用し30日の期間にわたり漏出を試験した場合、13%以下の細菌漏出率を有し、
前記スプリットチャンバ細菌漏出モデルは、上部チャンバと、下部チャンバと、前記上部および下部チャンバの間に配置され、その両方に接続された閉塞させた管と、を含み、
前記上部チャンバは細菌を含み、
上記下部チャンバはブロスを含み、
前記下部チャンバ内のブロスの元の色の変化により漏出が検出される、歯科充填材。 - 前記下部チャンバ内に細菌が存在すると、ブロスの色が変化する、請求項26記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記細菌は、ミュータンス連鎖球菌または大便連鎖球菌を含む、請求項26記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記ブロスは基本ブロスを含む、請求項26記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記ブロスは、pH指示薬をさらに含む、請求項29記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記pH指示薬は、フェノールレッドを含む、請求項30記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記元の色は赤であり、漏出により黄色に変化する、請求項26記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記漏出率は6.7%以下である、請求項26記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記漏出率は、15本の歯の試験サンプルに基づく、請求項26記載の歯科充填材。
- 請求項1記載の歯科充填材であって、
前記歯科充填材は、スプリットチャンバ細菌漏出モデルを使用し30日の期間にわたり漏出を試験した場合、13%以下の細菌漏出率を有し、
前記スプリットチャンバ細菌漏出モデルは、上部チャンバと、下部チャンバと、前記上部および下部チャンバの間に配置され、その両方に接続された閉塞させた根管と、を含み、
前記上部チャンバは細菌を含み、
上記下部チャンバはブロスを含み、
前記下部チャンバ内のブロスのpHの変化により漏出が検出される、歯科充填材。 - 前記漏出率は6.7%以下である、請求項35記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記漏出率は、15本の歯の試験サンプルに基づく、請求項35記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記歯科充填材と前記根管シーラントとの間の接着強度は、
充填材のディスクを作製し、
前記ディスクの1つの側を露出させたままにし、
前記ディスクの露出側にセメントシーラントを適用し、
前記シーラントを硬化させ、
プッシュシャーモールドを用いてサンプルを剥離し、
前記セメントの円柱がサンプル表面から離れる最大負荷を記録し、
前記負荷を前記セメント円柱の接触表面積で除したものを使用して、接着強度を計算することにより、測定する、請求項1記載の歯科充填材。 - ベンコール試験装置を使用して、前記サンプルを剥離する、請求項38記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記セメントシーラントを露出側に適用する前に、ディスクを載置材料内に載置する、請求項38記載の歯科充填材。
- ゼラチンカプセルを前記セメントシーラントに適用し、前記セメントシーラントを500gの負荷の下で保持する、請求項38記載の歯科充填材。
- 充填剤のディスクを作製する工程は、前記歯科充填材を軟化し、鋼モールドに入れ、直径15mmおよび厚さ1.2mmのサンプルディスクを作製する工程を含む、請求項38記載の歯科充填材。
- 前記ベンコール試験装置は、前記サンプルを剥離するためのクロスヘッドを備え、前記クロスヘッドの速度は0.02in/分である、請求項39記載の歯科充填材。
- 根管シーラントに対する接着強度が3MPa以上である、ポリイソプレンを含まない生物分解性熱可塑性ポリママトリクスと、
