図1を参照して、実施の形態1の軸受装置を説明する。図1はその軸受装置の要部のみを示し、従来例と同様の部分は同一の符号を付している。
図2を参照して実施の形態2の軸受装置を説明する。
図3ないし図5を参照して実施の形態2の軸受装置の組立方法を説明する。 図3は外輪に内輪組品を組み込む前を示す断面図、図4は外輪に内輪組品を組み込む途中を示す断面図、図5は外輪に内輪組品を組み込む後を示す断面図である。
図6を参照して参考の形態の軸受装置を説明する。この参考の形態の軸受装置においては、複列転がり軸受10をピニオンギヤ6に近い第1列目の転動体列を玉列17とし、遠い第2列目の転動体列を円筒ころ列181とした複列転がり軸受構成にしたものである。

Claims (2)
- 内部に油を貯留したケースにピニオン軸のピニオンギヤ側を支持する転がり軸受を複列アンギュラ玉軸受で構成したピニオン軸支持用転がり軸受装置において、
上記複列アンギュラ玉軸受の内・外輪間でピニオンギヤに近い側にピッチ円の直径が大きい第1の玉列を、ピニオンギヤから遠い側にピッチ円の直径が小さい第2の玉列を配置し、
軸受内部空間を、第1の玉列を含みピニオンギヤ側に開放した第1の軸受内部空間と、第2の玉列を含み軸受シールからなる隔壁で密封し潤滑用のグリースを封入した第2の軸受内部空間とに分けた、ことを特徴とするピニオン軸支持用転がり軸受装置。 - ピニオンギヤの回転により跳ね上げられた油が上記第1の玉列に付着するよう当該第1の玉列の一部を外輪のピニオンギヤ側端面外に露出した、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のピニオン軸支持用転がり軸受装置。
