a)垂直方向に移動可能な下側成形型部分(2)としての凹状の成形型中へガラス溶融液滴を導入すること、
b)前記凹状成形型中において静止した加圧成形ダイを用いて前記ガラス溶融液滴の両面を同時に精密加圧成形すること、
c)その際、精密加圧成形によって移動されたガラス材料によって前記第二レンズ面の最も高い点を越えて突き出る所定の寸法をもつ支持縁部がレンズ上へ形成されるように前記下側成形型部分を垂直方向に移動することにより、前記ガラス溶融液滴中へ前記加圧成形ダイを漬けることから構成される、第一凸レンズ面及び第二レンズ面を有するレンズの製造方法において達成される。

Claims (7)
- a)第一凸レンズ面及び第二レンズ面を有するレンズの製造方法であって、垂直方向に移動可能な下側成形型部分(2)としての凹状の成形型中へガラス溶融液滴を導入すること、
b)前記凹状成形型中に入れたまま前記ガラス溶融液滴の両面を静止した加圧成形ダイと前記凹状成形型との間で精密加圧成形すること、
c)その際、前記第二レンズ面の最も高い点を越えて突き出す所定の寸法をもつ支持縁部が精密加圧成形によって移動されたガラス材料によってレンズ上へ形成されるように、前記下側成形型部分を垂直方向に移動することにより、前記ガラス溶融液滴中へ前記加圧成形ダイを漬けることから構成される第一凸レンズ面及び第二レンズ面を有するレンズの製造方法。 - 前記加圧成形ダイが前記支持縁部によって取り囲まれたガラス溶融液滴部分中へ漬けられることを特徴とする請求項1項記載の方法。
- 前記ガラス溶融液滴の粘度が104〜106dPasの範囲内にある時に前記ガラス溶融液滴両面の精密加圧成形が行われることを特徴とする請求項1項記載の方法。
- レンズの直径が50〜80mmであることを特徴とする請求項1項記載の方法。
- 凹状の液溜め(3)、前記液溜めへ連結された周囲水平肩部(4)、及び前記水平肩部から延びる垂直周縁部(5)から構成される、垂直方向へ移動可能の下側成形型部分(2)、
前記下側成形型部分(2)の対向面(6)上に支えられ、かつ前記水平肩部(4)の上部全体に亘って内側へ延びる、垂直方向へ移動可能の上側成形型部分(10)、及び
前記上側成形型部分(10)をガイドする静止した加圧成形ダイ(20)を備えて構成される第一凸レンズ面及び第二レンズ面を有するレンズの精密加圧成形装置。
- 前記加圧成形ダイ(20)の直径が前記凹状の液溜め(3)の直径よりも小さいかあるいは同等であることを特徴とする請求項5項記載の装置。
- 前記加圧成形ダイ(20)の下面が平面であることを特徴とする請求項5項記載の装置。
