Claims (3)
- 導波路と、
前記導波路の末端まで進行し且つ治療対象の生物学的組織内へと送出されるマイクロ波をTM 01 モードにて発射すべく前記導波路の一端内で長手方向に延在する内側導体を備えた同軸的電気入力部材とを備え、
前記導波路内には、該導波路に沿い進行するマイクロ波を反射すべく該導波路の横方向に延在する低損失の誘電物質から成るダイヤフラムが配備され、
前記ダイヤフラムの長手方向位置は、前記ダイヤフラムと前記導波路の各端部とからの反射の位相が前記同軸的入力部材内の後方反射を減少し又は打ち消す役割を果たす様に、前記導波路の各端部に関して選択される、
マイクロ波アプリケータ。 - 前記ダイヤフラムの厚み、および、それを構成する誘電物質の誘電率は、前記同軸的入力部材内の後方反射を最適に打ち消す様に、前記ダイヤフラムからのマイクロ波の後方反射の大きさを決定すべく選択される、請求項1に記載のマイクロ波アプリケータ。
- 前記導波路に空気が充填される、請求項1または請求項2に記載のマイクロ波アプリケータ。
