Description
図1は、本発明の各実施の形態にかかる空燃比センサの異常検出装置及びその周辺の構造を説明するための図である。内燃機関10には吸気通路12および排気通路14が連通している。吸気通路12は、上流側の端部にエアフィルタ16を備えている。エアフィルタ16には、吸気温THA(すなわち外気温)を検出する吸気温センサ18が組みつけられている。

次に、本発明の実施の形態2について説明する。実施の形態2は、実施の形態1の方法で空燃比センサ35の異常検出を行う場合において、より短時間かつ高精度にA/F出力50の中心値を目標A/F60に一致させるものである。
縮小A/F出力=目標A/F+(A/F出力−目標A/F)/S
上式において、係数SはA/F出力50を縮小する際の縮小率を示している。ここで、縮小A/F出力52はA/F出力50の1/3〜1/5程度が好適であるため、係数Sの値は3〜5程度の値としておく。

Claims (2)
- 空燃比が目標値となるベース燃料噴射量を基準として燃料噴射量をリッチ側又はリーン側に強制的かつ周期的に増減させる空燃比アクティブ制御の実施中に、空燃比センサの出力に基づいて、前記空燃比センサの異常を検出する異常検出装置において、
前記空燃比アクティブ制御による燃料噴射量の増減に応じて変動する前記空燃比センサの出力のなまし出力を算出し、算出したなまし出力と前記目標値との偏差を求める偏差取得手段と、
前記偏差に0よりも大きく1よりも小さい係数を乗じて算出される値を0に近づけるように前記ベース燃料噴射量をフィードバック補正するフィードバック手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする空燃比センサの異常検出装置。 - 前記目標値は、理論空燃比に対応した前記空燃比センサの出力であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空燃比センサの異常検出装置。
