また、この複列ころ軸受は、前記のように風力発電機のブレードが取付けられた主軸を支持する主軸支持軸受として使用されるが、前記ブレードから遠い方の軸受部分を、近い方の軸受部分よりも負荷容量が大きく、かつ接触角、およびころの幅寸法が大きいものとする。左右の列に作用する負荷が互いに異なるが、例えばスラスト荷重が負荷される列では、接触角は大きくし、ころの幅寸法は大きくし、反対側の列では接触角は小さくし、ころの幅寸法は小さくする。
外輪を分割構造とすることで、2つの分割外輪を個々に製造すれば良いため、非対称の外輪の製造が容易となる。
このように予圧を負荷することにより、ころの滑りを積極的に抑制することができる。したがって外輪を分割構造として製造の容易を図りながら、上記滑りの抑制が得られる。
この構成とすることで、主軸支持軸受となる複列ころ軸受の実質軸受寿命の向上効果が得られる。
この実施形態におけるその他の構成,効果は、第1の実施形態と同じであり、対応部分に同一符号を付してある。

Claims (3)
- 風力発電機のブレードが取付けられた主軸を支持する主軸支持軸受として使用されるころ軸受であって、内輪と外輪との間に複列にころを介在させた複列ころ軸受において、左右の列の軸受部分における負荷容量が互いに異なり、左右の列の接触角の方向を互いに逆方向でかつ左右の列の接触角の大きさを互いに異ならせ、左右の列のころの幅寸法が互いに異なるものとし、前記ブレードから遠い方の軸受部分を、近い方の軸受部分よりも負荷容量が大きく、かつ接触角、およびころの幅寸法が大きいものとしたことを特徴とする複列ころ軸受。
- 請求項1において、上記外輪の軌道面を球面状とし、上記ころの外周面を上記外輪の軌道面に沿う形状とした複列自動調心ころ軸受からなる複列ころ軸受。
- ブレードが取付けられた主軸を、ハウジングに設置された1個または複数の軸受により支持し、上記いずれか一個または複数の軸受を、請求項1または請求項2に記載の複列ころ軸受とし、この複列ころ軸受における上記ブレードから遠い方の列の軸受部分を、近い方の軸受部分よりも負荷容量が大きいものとした風力発電機主軸支持装置。
