病人や身障者等のためにベッドに手すりを装着することが知られている。この種従来の手すりは、ベッドのサイドフレームなどの一定位置に取り付けるようになっていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来の手すりは、ベッドのサイドフレームなどの一定位置に取り付けるようになっていたため、病人や身障者の希望に応じてその取付け位置を自由に変更することはできないものであった。また強度的にも十分ではないため、病人や身障者が手すりに手をかけると、ふらついたり変形したりしやすく、安定性に欠けるものであり、更にはベッドにも大きな負荷がかかるため、ベッド自体が変形したり破損したりしやすいものであった。

したがって本発明は、使用勝手がよく、また十分な強度を期待できるベッドの手すり装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明のベッドの手すり装置は、左右の支柱部と、この左右の支柱部の上部に架け渡された手すりと、この左右の支柱部の下部に架け渡された下板とから成る本体部と、ベッドのサイドフレームに上方から着脱自在に被着されるアタッチメントとを有し、このアタッチメントの背板に開孔されたタテ長の長孔にボルトを通し、このボルトを前記下板に開孔されたボルト孔に挿着することにより、アタッチメントを前記本体部の前面下部に着脱自在に取り付け、また前記ボルト孔の下部にその先端部が前記サイドフレームの側面に当接して前記本体部のふらつきを防止する当接部材を突設し、かつ前記下板の下部にその先端部が前記サイドフレームの下面に当接する連結板を装着したものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面を参照しながら説明する。図１はベッドの手すり装置の分解斜視図、図２は同背面図、図３は同側面図、図４は同平面図である。
