HCOO−Mx+*yHCOOH (I)、
〔式中、Mは一価または多価の無機カチオンまたは有機カチオンを表わし、xは、正の整数であり、カチオンの電荷が記載されており、yは、蟻酸アニオンに対する蟻酸のモル含量を表わす〕によって記載される。蟻酸アニオンyに対する蟻酸のモル含量は、一般に0.01〜100、有利に0.05〜20、特に有利に0.5〜5、殊に0.9〜3.1である。
液状の流れIとIIとは、精留塔内で水の分離下に精留塔の塔頂部を経て混合され、精留塔から蟻酸ホルミエートを含有する塔底流が取り出される方法であって、この方法は、水0.5質量%未満を含有する塔底流を溶融液として取得することによって特徴付けられる。
それぞれ10個の泡鐘段がそれぞれ30mmの直径を有する3または2個の区間からなる実験室用塔中でカリウムジホルミエートを製造した。この塔を純粋な分離塔として運転した。
流入量中の蟻酸濃度は、30質量%であった。塔は、3個の区間から形成されており、塔に亘っての圧力損失は、約35ミリバールであった。塔を50ミリバールの塔頂部圧力で運転した。塔底温度は、132〜135℃であった。塔底部内の溶融液中で、約0.45質量%の含水量が達成された。
流入量中の蟻酸濃度、塔区間の数ならびに塔に亘っての圧力損失は、例1Aと比較して不変のままであった。塔を20ミリバールの塔頂圧力および122〜127℃の塔底部温度で運転した。塔底部から約0.35質量%の含水量を有する溶融液を取り出した。
流入量中の蟻酸濃度は、85質量%であった。塔は、2個の区間から形成されており、塔に亘っての圧力損失は、約25ミリバールであった。塔を約35ミリバールの塔頂部圧力で運転した。約126℃の塔底部温度の場合、塔底部から取り出されたカリウムジホルミエート溶融液中の0.18〜0.2質量%の含水量が達成された。
流入量中の蟻酸濃度、塔区間の数ならびに塔に亘っての圧力損失は、例2Aと比較して不変のままであった。塔頂部圧力を約25ミリバールに減少させた。124〜126℃の範囲内の塔底部温度の場合、約0.08〜0.12質量%の塔底部から取り出されたカリウムジホルミエート溶融液中での含水量を達成した。
流入量中の蟻酸濃度は、94質量%であった。塔区間の数および圧力損失は、例2Aに相当した。塔を約35ミリバールの塔頂部圧力で運転した。126〜128℃の塔底部温度の場合、約0.08〜0.1質量%の塔底部から取り出されたカリウムジホルミエート溶融液中での含水量を達成した。
蟻酸濃度は、例2Aに対して不変のままであった。塔区間の数および圧力損失は、例2Aに相当した。塔頂部圧力を約25ミリバールに減少させた。124〜126℃の塔底部温度の場合、約0.05〜0.07質量%の塔底部から取り出されたカリウムジホルミエート溶融液中での含水量を達成した。
流入量中の蟻酸濃度は、99質量%であった。塔区間の数および圧力損失は、例2Aに相当した。塔を約35ミリバールの塔頂部圧力で運転した。124〜126℃の塔底部温度の場合、約0.05〜0.08質量%の塔底部から取り出されたカリウムジホルミエート溶融液中での含水量を達成した。
流入量中の蟻酸濃度が不変である場合、塔頂部圧力を約25ミリバールに減少させた。塔区間の数および圧力損失は、例2Aに相当した。塔底部温度ならびに塔底部から取り出されたカリウムジホルミエート溶融液の含水量は、例3Aと同様の範囲内で記載された。従って、例3Aおよび3Bで使用された高い蟻酸濃度の場合、塔底部から取り出された溶融液中での含水量に対する塔頂部圧力の影響は本質的に示されず、この場合塔頂部の圧力は、35ミリバールから25ミリバールへ変動した。
Claims (11)
- 蟻酸を含有する液状の流れIおよび金属ホルミエートを含有する液状の流れIIを準備し、この液状の流れIおよびIIを、液状の流れIIのために液状の流れIの場合よりも高いかまたは液状の流れIの場合と同じ、精留塔に対する供給位置を選択するように精留塔に供給し、液状の流れIとIIとを精留塔内で水の分離下で精留塔の塔頂部を経て混合し、精留塔から蟻酸ホルミエートを含有する塔底部の流れを取り出すことにより、蟻酸ホルミエートを製造する方法において、塔底部の流れを水0.5質量%未満を含有する溶融液として取得することを特徴とする、蟻酸ホルミエートを製造する方法。
