Description
上記送り方向マークの印刷ピッチを超える範囲に対して上記絵柄を付加するにあたり、加飾対象の絵柄を位置決めするための送り方向マークを、送り動作制御用のセンサで検出した後、その送り方向マークに対し送り方向上流側にある次の送り方向マークを検出せずに上記加飾シートを通過させ、輪転印刷機のシリンダー一回転を超え二回転未満の長さにわたる上記加飾シートを上記金型内に挟み込んで樹脂成形を行い、上記送り方向マークの印刷ピッチを超える長さの長尺成形品表面に絵柄を付加する成形同時加飾方法である。
図1は加飾シートの第一形態であるインサートシート1を示したものである。インサートシート1は基本的に基体シート1a上に絵柄層1bと接着層1cが積層されたものであり、成形樹脂に接着層1cを介して絵柄層1bを接着した後、基体シート1aは剥離せずに保護層として残すものである。
上記基体シート1a,2aの材質としては、耐熱性に優れたPET(ポリエチレンテレフタレート)を使用することが好ましいが、これに限らず、ポリカーボネート樹脂、ポリアミド樹脂、ポリイミド樹脂、ポリエステル樹脂、アクリル樹脂、オレフィン樹脂、ウレタン樹脂、アクリロニトリルブタジエンスチレン樹脂、塩化ビニル樹脂等から選択される単層フィルム、または上記の中から選択された二種以上の樹脂による積層フィルムまたは共重合フィルムを使用することができる。
上記剥離層2bは、図柄を転写した後、基体シート2aが剥離されることにより最も外側に位置する層であり、図柄の保護層として機能するようになっている。この剥離層2bの材質としては、アクリル系樹脂、硝化綿系樹脂、ポリウレタン系樹脂、塩化ゴム系樹脂、塩化ビニル−酢酸ビニル共重合系樹脂、ポリアミド系樹脂、ポリエステル系樹脂、エポキシ系樹脂、ポリカーボネート系樹脂、オレフィン系樹脂、アクリロニトリルブタジエンスチレン樹脂等が挙げられる。
上記絵柄層1b,2cは、文字、記号、模様、塗りパターン等を形成するものであり、樹脂バインダーと顔料(または染料)とを混合し、また、樹脂バインダーと隠蔽性のある金属顔料や無機顔料等を混合し、公知のグラビア印刷によって印刷することができる。
上記接着層1c,2dは、絵柄層1b,2cを成形品表面に接着するためにあり、成形樹脂の素材と相性のよい感熱性あるいは感圧性の樹脂が使用される。
図3に示すように、成形同時加飾装置は、加飾シート供給装置10と金型装置20とを備えており、同図(a)は側面図、同図(b)は正面図である。
次に、成形同時加飾品の製造方法について、図3〜5を参照しながら説明する。

Claims (4)
- 絵柄とその絵柄をキャビティに位置決めするための送り方向マークが輪転印刷されている加飾シートを金型内に挟み込み、樹脂成形と同時に樹脂成形品表面に上記絵柄を付加する成形同時加飾方法において、
上記送り方向マークの印刷ピッチを超える範囲に対して上記絵柄を付加するにあたり、加飾対象の絵柄を位置決めするための送り方向マークを、送り動作制御用のセンサで検出した後、その送り方向マークに対し送り方向上流側にある次の送り方向マークを検出せずに上記加飾シートを通過させ、輪転印刷機のシリンダー一回転を超え二回転未満の長さにわたる上記加飾シートを上記金型内に挟み込んで樹脂成形を行い、上記送り方向マークの印刷ピッチを超える長さの長尺成形品表面に絵柄を付加することを特徴とする成形同時加飾方法。 - 上記加飾シート上に一定の間隔で形成されている絵柄を、一つ置きに上記金型のキャビティ中心に位置決めして樹脂成形を行う請求項1記載の成形同時加飾方法。
- 上記金型内に上記加飾シートを送り込むにあたり、上記加飾シート上に1成形品単位毎に形成されている送り方向マークを一つ置きに検出することにより、上記絵柄の位置決めを行う請求項1または2記載の成形同時加飾方法。
- 上記送り方向マークの印刷ピッチを超える長さが940mmを超え、1,880mm未満である請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の成形同時加飾方法。
