Description
Claims (10)
- 金属コアストランドと、前記金属コアストランドの周囲に設けられるスチール要素の少なくとも1つの隣接層からなる、ゴムタイヤおよび/またはコンベヤベルトの補強に用いられるスチールコードにおいて、前記金属コアストランドはポリマー材料によって被覆され、前記ポリマー材料はポリエチレンテレフタレートで、かつ0.02〜0.12mmの厚みを有していることを特徴とするスチールコード。
- 前記ポリマー材料は熱可塑性ポリマーであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のスチールコード。
- 前記最小厚みは0.035mmよりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のスチールコード。
- 前記スチール要素からなる隣接層の前記スチール要素はスチールコードであることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載のスチールコード。
- 前記ポリマー材料は前記金属コアストランドの周囲に押出成形によって形成されることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載のスチールコード。
- 請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載のスチールコードを製造する方法において、
金属コアストランドを設けるステップと、
前記金属コアストランドの周囲にポリマー材料の層を設けるステップと、
スチール要素からなる1つ以上の付加的な隣接層を設けるステップと
によって構成されることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記ポリマー層は前記金属コアストランドの周囲に押出成形によって形成されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマー材料は前記金属コアストランドの周囲に0.05mmよりも大きい厚みで設けられることを特徴とする請求項6または7に記載の方法。
- 請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載のスチールコードの用途であって、前記スチールコードがオフロードタイヤの補強に用いられることを特徴とする用途。
- 請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載のスチールコードの用途であって、前記スチールコードがコンベヤベルトの補強に用いられることを特徴とする用途。
