Claims (3)
- 駆動装置により回転駆動される工具を備えた工作機械において駆動装置から発生する振動を検出する振動センサと、振動センサの出力である対象信号から複数のパラメータからなる特徴量を抽出する特徴抽出部と、特徴抽出部により抽出した特徴量のカテゴリを分類する競合学習型ニューラルネットワークと、工具を駆動装置に取り付けた状態で空転させたときの対象信号の特徴量と学習済みの競合学習型ニューラルネットワークにおいて発火したニューロンの重みベクトルとのユークリッド距離をワークの加工寸法に換算する換算部と、換算部で得られたワークの加工寸法を予測値として出力する出力部とを備え、競合学習型ニューラルネットワークを学習させる学習データは工具を駆動装置に正常に取り付けた状態で空転させたときの対象信号の特徴量を用いており、換算部には、学習後の競合学習型ニューラルネットワークに学習データを再度入力し、発火したニューロンの重みベクトルと当該学習データとのユークリッド距離が、当該学習データが得られたときの工具でワークを加工した加工寸法に対応付けて登録されることを特徴とする工作機械の加工寸法予測装置。
- 前記工作機械は工具マガジンに保管された複数個の工具を指示された順序で自動的に交換する構成であって、前記ニューラルネットワークは工具別の学習データを用いて学習され、前記換算部は、工作機械において工具を交換する指示に同期してユークリッド距離と加工寸法との対応関係を変更することを特徴とする請求項1記載の工作機械の加工寸法予測装置。
- 前記出力部は、前記換算部で求めた加工寸法が規定した閾値を超えているときには駆動装置への工具の取付状態に不具合があると判定することを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2記載の工作機械の加工寸法予測装置。
