Description

The present invention relates to a water-saving device and a water-saving device that can obtain a water-saving effect by adjusting the flow rate of water discharged from a faucet. In particular, the present invention relates to a water-saving device and a water-saving device that can be used not only for handle cock-type faucets but also for single lever-type faucets and that can easily adjust the water discharge flow rate.

When using water or hot water for cooking, washing, bathing, etc. in a kitchen, washroom, bathroom, etc. in a general home, restaurant, hotel, etc., the user must operate a manual rotatable handle cock. It is possible to adjust the water discharge flow rate (discharge amount) of water and hot water flowing out from a free faucet such as a single faucet or a hot water / water mixing tap. That is, the valve opening degree of the faucet changes according to the amount of rotation of the handle cock by the user, and the flow rate of water discharged from the faucet or hot water changes accordingly. Also, in a shower installed in a bathroom or the like, it is general that the water discharge flow rate can be adjusted by operating a handle cock provided at the base of a hose branched from a hot and cold water mixing tap. In such a handle cock-type faucet or shower facility, in order to save water, a water-saving device has been incorporated in the joint between the faucet outlet and the spout or the joint between the hose and the shower head. Has been done. As such water-saving tools, for example, water-saving tools (water-saving tops) disclosed in Patent Documents 1 and 2 shown below have been conventionally known. In the water-saving device described in the following publication and other conventionally known water-saving devices, the internal flow rate of the faucet body and shower head is throttled by a hole provided in the water-saving device, which is almost proportional to the valve opening of the water faucet. The water discharge is adjusted by the size of the hole to save water.
Japanese Utility Model Publication No.59-158794 Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 60-21089

By the way, recently, in general households, restaurants or hotels, the valve opening of the faucet can be changed according to the vertical movement of the lever, that is, the flow rate of water discharged from the faucet can be changed simply by the user raising and lowering the lever. A so-called single lever type (or one-touch lever type) faucet that can be used has become widespread. In such a single lever-type faucet, the water discharge flow rate changes abruptly only by a slight lever operation. Therefore, in order to adjust the amount of water required by the user, it is necessary to make fine adjustments to the lever, which is troublesome, especially for users such as infants and the elderly. In many cases, it is used in a state where water has been excessively discharged due to difficult things. Therefore, in the single lever type faucet, it is conceivable to squeeze the main stopper in advance in order to prevent excessive discharge of water, but if such a method is adopted, not only the user's feeling of use is lost, Such a method is not practical and cannot be adopted because the water pressure in the entire building drops and the water outflows everywhere in the building. Therefore, a water-saving device suitable for a single lever-type faucet is desired. However, the conventional water-saving device as described above is a type in which a water-saving device is incorporated at the joint between the faucet outlet and the spout. Therefore, those water-saving devices could not be applied to single-lever faucets. In other words, even if a conventional water-saving device can be devised simply by incorporating it into the outlet of a single-lever faucet, it can only adjust the amount of water, and it is easy to use on a daily basis. It does not cause a flow. As described above, since there has been no water-saving device suitable for a single lever-type faucet, there has been a problem that it is very difficult to save water on a single-lever-type faucet. The same problem exists not only in the single lever type faucet but also in all the water saving tools of the type in which a water saving tool is provided at the water flow outlet.
In addition, conventionally, various types of water-saving devices having different sizes of holes provided in the water-saving device are prepared in advance, and the water-saving water is provided with holes of a size suitable for the required water discharge flow rate. It was necessary to replace the tool every time it was replaced. However, it is inconvenient to prepare various kinds of water-saving tools having different hole sizes according to the water discharge flow rate because the cost increases. Furthermore, it is very difficult to finely adjust the water discharge flow rate that satisfies the feeling of use for each individual user, which can be different sensibly, simply by replacing water saving devices having different hole sizes.

This invention is made | formed in view of the above-mentioned point, and intends to provide the water-saving apparatus suitable for mounting | wearing with water outlets, such as a single lever type faucet.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

First, an embodiment of a water-saving device according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 1 is a schematic view showing an embodiment of a water-saving device 1 according to the present invention. FIG. 1 (a) is a perspective view showing the entire structure of the water-saving device 1, and FIG. FIG. 1C is a vertical cross-sectional view of the water-saving device 1 as seen from the lower surface on the water flow outlet side.

The main body of the water-saving device 1 shown in this embodiment is composed of a cylindrical portion 1c whose both ends 1a and 1b are opened as water flow entrances. The external shape of the cylindrical portion 1c is that the cap C or the plate already installed in the faucet discharge part (faucet outlet) S, which is an outlet for discharging water or hot water, etc., in the single lever type faucet. In a shape that substantially fits the shape inside the faucet discharge portion S so that it can be detachably mounted in the faucet discharge portion S by using the mesh portion M or the like (see FIG. 3 described later). Is formed. Of course, the cross-sectional shape of the cylindrical portion 1c is not limited to a perfect circle, but may be any shape suitable for the cross-section of the faucet channel to be applied, such as an ellipse or a chamfered polygon. What is necessary is just to have comprised the cylinder shape. A flange (projecting portion) 3 having a diameter somewhat larger than the diameter of the main body cylinder (cylindrical portion 1c) of the water saving device 1 is integrally formed at one end portion 1b of the water saving device 1 (on the water flow outlet side in the illustrated example). Has been. This flange (protruding portion) 3 is for locking the water-saving device 1 to the end portion of the faucet discharge portion S. The flange (protruding portion) 3 is not limited to a complete circular shape, and may be anything that protrudes outward from the cylindrical portion 1c so that it can be locked. Further, the flange 3 is not limited to an example in which the flange 3 is integrally formed with the cylindrical portion 1c. The flange 3 may be a separate body, and may be attached or detached by screw engagement or the like, or may be pressed by rubber or the like. The structure which unites may be sufficient.

In the cylindrical part 1c of the water-saving device 1, a water flow adjusting unit 2 and a flow rate adjusting plate 4 having an opening for water flow are arranged. The water flow adjusting part 2 is integrally formed in a plate (or partition wall) shape in the cylindrical part 1c which is the main body of the water saving tool 1, and the flow rate adjusting plate 4 is formed as a separate object which can be detached from the main body of the water saving tool 1. Yes. The flow rate adjusting plate 4 can be detachably mounted on the water flow adjusting portion 2 by the mounting member N, and is formed in a shape that substantially fits the shape inside the cylindrical portion 1c. Is done. The attachment member N is a kind of screw having a shaft portion formed in a screw shape, and a groove for fitting an attachment device such as a driver is formed in the head portion. When the mounting member N is rotated by the mounting tool fitted in the head portion, the shaft portion of the mounting member N passes through the central hole 4a of the flow rate adjusting plate 4 and enters the central hole 2a of the water flow adjusting unit 2, and the flow rate The adjusting plate 4 can be fixed on the water flow adjusting unit 2. For example, a male screw is cut on the outer periphery of the shaft portion of the mounting member N, and a female screw is cut on the inner periphery of the central hole 2a of the adjusting portion 2, and the head portion and the water flow are adjusted by tightening the mounting member N around the screw. The flow rate adjusting plate 4 is sandwiched between the portion 2 and fixed. In addition to the central holes 2a and 4a, one or a plurality of water passage holes 2b and 4b are formed in the adjusting unit 2 and the flow rate adjusting plate 4 with appropriate shapes, numbers, arrangements and dimensions, respectively. Here, as an example, each of the water holes 2b and 4b is shown as having four circular holes. However, the shape is not limited to a circle and may be an appropriate shape and number, and the opening area and arrangement thereof will be described later. As will be explained, it is designed and adjusted as appropriate so as to obtain a desired water saving amount and reduced pressure or buffer action. Further, for example, the four water holes 4b of the water flow adjusting unit 4 are completely separated in the illustrated example, but as shown in FIG. 2, the two water holes 4b are connected to each other. There may be.

In general, by cutting a corrosion-resistant metal material such as stainless steel or brass, a water-saving system that integrally includes the cylindrical portion 1c and the adjusting portion 2 (and the flange 3) having a desired structure / shape. Although the main body of the tool 1 is good to manufacture, it is not restricted to this, You may manufacture the main body of the water-saving tool 1 with an appropriate raw material and manufacturing method.
In addition, it cannot be overemphasized that you may comprise so that the flow volume adjustment board 4 can be attached to the lower side of the water flow adjustment part 2 so that attachment or detachment is possible.

A water flow adjusting part 2 with a water flow hole (opening) formed in the cylindrical part 1c and a flow rate adjusting plate 4 with a water flow hole (opening) placed on the water flow adjusting part 2 are The water flow can be adjusted by a buffering action when the water flow hits a portion (obstacle) other than the opening of the adjusting unit 2 and the flow rate adjusting plate 4. That is, it is possible to adjust the flow rate by narrowing the water flow rate according to changing the overlapping state of the water flow holes. The specific action may vary depending on the shape and number of the water passage holes 2b, 4b provided in the adjusting unit 2 and the flow rate adjusting plate 4, the opening area and the arrangement, or the direction of the water flow.

First, as shown in FIG. 1 (a), the end 1a on the opposite side of the flange 3 is a water inlet, the end 1b on the flange 3 side is a water outlet, and the direction of the water flow is in the direction of the arrow X. explain. Four flow holes 2a and 4a having the same shape, number and arrangement are respectively formed in the flow rate adjusting plate 4 arranged near the end 1a and the water flow adjusting unit 2 near the end 1b. Since the flow rate adjusting plate 4 is mounted on the water flow adjusting unit 2 by the mounting member N, when the flow rate adjusting plate 4 is rotated on the water flow adjusting unit 2 by loosening the tightening by the mounting member N, the rotation amount The position of the water flow hole 4b of the flow rate adjustment plate 4 and the relative position of the water flow hole 2b of the adjustment unit 2 are changed by an amount corresponding to the actual flow area of the water flow hole 2b provided in the adjustment unit 2. Will change. The amount of narrowing the water flow is determined by the size of the opening area (that is, the size of the flow path formed between the flow rate adjusting plate 4 and the water flow hole 2b of the adjusting unit 2), and the flow rate is adjusted. Moreover, when the relative position of the water flow holes 4b provided in the flow rate adjusting plate 4 and the water flow holes 2b provided in the adjustment unit 2 changes, the area where the water flow hits a place (obstacle) other than the opening is also obtained. As a result, the water flow can be adjusted by the interference / buffer action caused by this. Note that the final water saving amount (throttle amount) is determined by the size of the opening area of the water passage hole 2b of the adjusting unit 2 when the adjusting unit 2 and the flow rate adjusting plate 4 are overlapped as described above. The size of the water flow holes 2b and 4b of the adjusting unit 2 and the flow rate adjusting plate 4 may be adjusted as appropriate during the design and processing so that the water saving amount (throttle amount) can be obtained. Moreover, it is good to adjust the water flow holes 2b and 4b of the adjustment part 2 and the flow volume adjustment board 4 in consideration of thickness. That is, if the amount of squeezing is relatively large, the momentum of water is relatively reduced, and the user's feeling of use may be impaired. Therefore, it is known that increasing the thickness of the throttle hole increases the water momentum accordingly, so the thickness of the water flow holes 2b, 4b of the adjusting unit 2 and the flow rate adjusting plate 4 (that is, the adjusting unit 2, 2). By adjusting the thickness of the flow rate adjusting plate 4 to an appropriate thickness, the adjusted water flow can be boosted so as not to impair the user's feeling of use.

In the flow rate adjustment based on the size of the substantial opening area of the water passage hole 2b of the adjusting portion 2 that changes in accordance with the change of the overlapping state of the water passage holes 2b and 4b as described above, The range of flow rate that can be controlled is determined according to the size of the holes 2b and 4b, the number and shape thereof. Therefore, in order to greatly change the water saving ratio and the feeling of use of the user in particular, the adjustment unit 2 and the flow rate adjustment plate 4 configured so that the diameters and the number and shape of the water passage holes 2b and 4b are greatly different are provided. Use it. That is, the configuration of the adjusting unit 2 and the flow rate adjusting plate 4 may be determined not only in accordance with the amount of water reduction or feeling of use required by the user, but also in accordance with the amount of water or the water pressure at the location to be attached. For example, in high-rise buildings and condominiums, if you have a large diameter (large opening area) for the upper layer of the building, a medium diameter (medium opening area) for the middle layer of the building, and a small diameter (small opening area) for the lower layer of the building, The water discharge flow rate (discharge amount) can be adjusted and controlled with the difference in water pressure due to the difference in height.

Next, the Example which applies the said water saving tool 1 to the water saving apparatus of a single lever type faucet is described with reference to FIG. FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view showing an embodiment of the water-saving device 10 in which the water-saving device 1 shown in FIG. 1 is attached to the faucet outlet of the single lever faucet.

In the single lever type faucet, a male screw is cut on the outer periphery of the faucet discharge part (faucet outlet) S and a female screw is cut on the inner periphery of the cap C, and a plurality of mesh parts M are connected to the cap C and the discharge part ( Some of them are sandwiched between the tap outlet (S) and the cap C is screwed around. The water-saving device 10 shown in FIG. 3 is a single lever type faucet of this type, in which the water-saving device 1 is disposed such that the end 1b on the flange 3 side is closer to the downstream of the water flow, and its cylindrical portion 1c. Is inserted into the faucet discharge portion S of the single lever type faucet, the flange 3 is brought into contact with the end portion of the faucet discharge portion S with an appropriate packing P interposed therebetween, and a plurality of mesh portions downstream thereof M is arranged and the cap C is screwed and tightened so that the whole is sandwiched and fixed between the cap C and the end of the faucet discharge part S. According to this configuration, it is possible to provide a water-saving device 10 that can be easily applied to a single lever faucet with a mesh portion M and a cap C at an existing faucet outlet simply by adding a packing P to the water-saving device 1 described above. .
Needless to say, such a water-saving device 10 can be similarly installed in a cap for a foam faucet that can contain air with respect to flowing water.

In the example of the second embodiment, since the mesh portion M is too coarse, the water flow squeezed by the water passage holes 2b and 4b of the water-saving device 1 is not interfered so much by the mesh portion M downstream thereof. The water flow that passes through as it is and is finally discharged does not spread to the full outlet of the faucet, and tends to be a relatively thin flow. As a result, the user may visually feel that the amount of water is small. The embodiment shown in FIG. 4 can improve such an inconvenience. In the embodiment of FIG. 4, the rectifying means 5 is provided in place of the existing mesh portion M. 4A is an exploded perspective view showing an example of the rectifying means 5 installed downstream of the water-saving device 1, and FIG. 4B is a faucet discharger (faucet) including the water-saving device 1 and the rectifying means 5. It is sectional drawing of the state attached to the exit S. FIG.

A water-saving device 10 shown in FIG. 4 is configured by combining the water-saving device 1 shown in FIG. 1 and a rectifying kit (rectifying means) 5 made up of a plurality of members. Since the water-saving device 1 has the same configuration as the water-saving device 1 (see FIG. 1) shown in the first embodiment, the description thereof is omitted here. The rectifying kit 5 is disposed downstream of the water-saving device 1. As shown in FIG. 4 (a), the rectifying kit 5 shown in this embodiment includes a pressure receiving portion 5a and two equal plates in order from the top. 5b and 5c. The pressure receiving portion 5a is formed in a protruding portion 5a0 whose central portion protrudes in a convex shape, and its periphery is a flange portion. The protruding portion 5a0 of the pressure receiving portion 5a is arranged so as to be fitted almost perfectly into the cylindrical portion 1a of the water-saving device 1 from the flange 3 side, and has a size suitable for such fitting. In addition, the protruding portion 5a0 of the pressure receiving portion 5a is provided with a relatively large number of water passage holes except for a portion located directly below the water passage hole 2b, and the total opening area of these water passage holes. Is wider than the total opening area of the water passage holes 2b of the adjusting portion 2 that determines the amount of restriction. The outer diameter of the peripheral flange portion is somewhat larger than the outer diameter of the flange 3 of the water-saving device 1, and is a size that fits and fits into the inner diameter of the cap C.

The two equal plates 5b and 5c arranged downstream of the pressure receiving portion 5a are composed of a perforated plate portion provided with a relatively large number of water passage holes. It ’s expensive. Therefore, the perforated plate portion in each of the equal plates 5b and 5c has a recess as shown in the figure, and an appropriate space exists corresponding to the recess over the entire area of the perforated plate portion. Similarly to the pressure receiving portion 5a, the outer diameters of the equal plates 5b and 5c are somewhat larger than the outer diameter of the flange 3 of the water-saving device 1, and are sized to fit and fit into the inner diameter of the cap C. The total opening area of the water passage holes of the equal plates 5b and 5c is also wider than the total opening area of the water passage holes 2b of the adjusting unit 2 that determines the amount of restriction.

As shown in FIG. 4B, the water-saving device 1 is arranged so that the end 1b on the flange 3 side is closer to the downstream of the water flow, and the cylindrical portion 1c is a faucet discharge portion of a single lever faucet. The flange 3 is brought into contact with the end portion of the faucet discharge portion S with the packing P interposed therebetween, and the rectifying kit 5 including the pressure receiving portion 5a and the equal plates 5b and 5c is disposed downstream thereof. By tightening the cap C by screwing, the whole is sandwiched and fixed between the cap C and the end portion of the faucet discharge portion S.

The operation of the rectifying kit 5 having the above configuration will be described. The water flow discharged from the water passage hole 2b of the adjustment part 2 of the water-saving device 1 abuts (is received by pressure) on a portion of the protruding part 5a0 of the pressure receiving part 5a directly below the part without the water passage hole. Therefore, the discharged water flow abuts on the portion and spreads around, and falls through a large number of water passages around it. Thus, the water flow adjusted in the water-saving device 1 is decompressed due to the presence of the pressure receiving portion 5a. Next, the water flow that has passed through the pressure receiving portion 5a enters a space corresponding to the depression over the entire porous plate portion of the first uniform plate 5b, and spreads over the entire porous plate portion. Thus, the water flow coming out of the pressure receiving part 5a is distributed substantially evenly over the entire faucet outlet area. The water flow distributed substantially uniformly over the entire faucet outlet area passes through a large number of water holes provided substantially uniformly over the entire area of the uniform plate 5b (perforated plate portion) and falls. In this way, a rectifying effect is realized so that the water flow finally discharged spreads to the faucet outlet. In other words, even if the water flow rate is reduced by the water-saving action, the user's feeling of use is not impaired, both sensorially and visually, by the discharge water flow rectified so as to spread all the way to the faucet outlet. Has the effect.

In this embodiment, two equal plates 5b and 5c are provided. This is to increase the rectifying effect by the equal plate additively or synergistically. That is, the water flow that has passed through the upper uniform plate 5b further enters a space corresponding to the depression over the entire porous plate portion of the second uniform plate 5c, and spreads over the entire porous plate portion. In this way, the water flow coming out from the upper uniform plate 5b is more evenly distributed over the entire faucet outlet area. In this way, the water flow that is more evenly distributed over the entire faucet outlet area passes through a large number of water holes provided substantially uniformly over the entire area of the equal plate 5c (perforated plate portion) and falls. In this way, a rectifying effect is realized so that the finally discharged water flow spreads more evenly with the full outlet of the faucet. Obviously, if the water flow holes of the two equal plates 5b and 5c overlap at the same position, the additive or synergistic rectifying effect is reduced. Therefore, when a plurality of equal plates 5b, 5c are arranged in an overlapping manner, the positions of the plurality of water passage holes formed in the porous plate portions of the respective equal plates 5b, 5c do not all coincide. It is good to arrange so that each may shift | deviate suitably (refer FIG.4 (b)). For this purpose, when the equal plates 5b and 5c are different from each other in the arrangement pattern of the water passage holes in the perforated plate portion, or when using equal plates made up of the same configuration perforated plate portion, What is necessary is just to arrange | position in the state rotated relatively suitably so that the arrangement pattern of a hole may not overlap in the same position. In order to facilitate the latter arrangement, a simple key coupling structure (key depression on one side and key projection on the other side) is provided on the peripheral rim portion between the equal plates 5b and 5c to give a predetermined relative rotational deviation. It is preferable that the uniform plates 5b and 5c can be easily stacked. In addition, the equal plates 5b and 5c are not limited to two, but may be only one or may be three or more.

The number of pressure receiving portions 5a and equal plates 5b, 5c constituting the rectifying kit 5, the number of holes formed in these plates, or the combination of the plates when setting the plates are not limited to those described above. It may be appropriate. For example, each of the pressure receiving portion and the equal plate may have a single stage or a multistage structure.

FIG. 5 shows a modification of the pressure receiving portion 5 a in the rectifying kit 5. The pressure receiving portion 5a1 according to this modification includes a protruding portion 5a10 provided with an outer diameter and a large number of water passage holes fitted into the cylindrical portion 1c in substantially the same manner as the protruding portion 5a0 of FIG. Further, a plurality of projecting portions 5a11 projecting thereon are provided. The upper protrusions 5a11 are formed in the same number as the number of the water passage holes 2b of the adjustment unit 2 positioned on the upper part, and the outer diameter thereof is approximately the same as the diameter of the water passage holes 2b. Moreover, this protrusion part 5a11 does not have a water passage hole. With this configuration, a part of the water flow discharged from the water flow hole 2b of the adjustment unit 2 abuts (being received pressure) on the upper protruding portion 5a11 of the pressure receiving portion 5a1 directly below the water flow hole 2b, and the peripheral edge of the upper protruding portion 5a11. Then, it falls on the lower protrusion 5a10. The dropped water flow spreads over the lower protrusion 5a10 and falls through a number of water holes provided therein. Thus, as described above, the water flow adjusted in the water-saving device 1 is depressurized due to the presence of the pressure receiving portion 5a1. The water flow that has passed through the pressure receiving portion 5a1 is processed by the equal plates 5b and 5c as described above. The pressure receiving portion 5a1 in FIG. 5 has a higher pressure reducing effect than the pressure receiving portion 5a in FIG. 4 and further reduces the momentum of the water flow. Therefore, the number of the equal plates 5b and 5c is reduced and replaced with a mesh plate M or the like instead. You may do it.

FIG. 6 shows a further modification of the pressure receiving portion 5a1 in the rectifying kit 5. The pressure-receiving part 5a2 according to this modification is substantially the same as the protruding part 5a10 of FIG. 4 and protrudes on and above the protruding part 5a20 having an outer diameter and a large number of water passage holes that fit inside the cylindrical part 1c. And a protruding portion 5a22 protruding above the protruding portion 5a21. The outer diameter of the intermediate protrusion 5a21 is sufficiently smaller than the inner diameter of the cylindrical portion 1c, and no water passage hole is required. Further, the upper protruding portion 5a22 is provided with an outer diameter and a large number of water passage holes that are substantially fitted inside the cylindrical portion 1c, as in the case of the protrusion portion 5a0 in FIG. There is no water passage hole in the part directly under 2b. With this configuration, the water flow discharged from the water passage hole 2b of the adjustment unit 2 abuts (is received by) the portion of the protrusion 5a22 on the upper portion of the pressure receiving portion 5a2 directly below the water passage hole, and is thus discharged. The water flow abuts on this portion and spreads around, falls through a number of water passage holes there, and then abuts (is received by pressure) on the intermediate protrusion 5a21 and travels around the periphery of the protrusion 5a21. Or directly falls on the lower protrusion 5a20. The dropped water flow spreads over the lower protrusion 5a20 and falls through a number of water holes provided therein. Thus, as described above, the water flow adjusted in the water-saving device 1 is further reduced in pressure due to the presence of the pressure receiving portion 5a2. The water flow that has passed through the pressure receiving portion 5a2 is processed by the equal plates 5b and 5c as described above. The pressure receiving portion 5a2 in FIG. 6 has a higher pressure reducing effect than the pressure receiving portions 5a and 5a1 in FIGS. 4 and 5 and further reduces the momentum of the water flow, thereby reducing the number of equal plates 5b and 5c. A mesh plate M or the like may be substituted.

Generally, when the water pressure flowing into the water-saving device 1 increases, the water flow discharged from the water passage hole 3a of the adjustment unit 3 also increases the momentum. Therefore, the water-saving device 1 may be installed by appropriately replacing the pressure receiving portion 5a in the rectifying kit 5 with the pressure receiving portions 5a1 and 5a2 as shown in FIG. In this way, the momentum of the water flow discharged from the water passage hole 2b of the adjustment unit 2 can be adjusted by simply replacing the pressure receiving unit, and a soft water flow can be obtained regardless of the single lever type faucet of any water pressure. Be able to get.

The novel and useful rectifying kit 5 as shown in FIGS. 4 to 6 is not limited to the water saving device 1 as shown in FIG. 1, and may be combined with any other known or unknown water saving device, Even in such a case, advantageous effects and effects are brought about with respect to pressure reduction and rectification (a substantially uniform water flow spread over the entire area of the faucet outlet) as described above.

In each of the above-described embodiments, the water-saving device 1 according to this embodiment is applied to a water-saving device 10 of a type installed at the faucet outlet, for example, an example applied to the water-saving device 10 installed at the faucet outlet of a single lever faucet. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the water-saving device 1 can also be used as a water-saving device that is installed in the middle of the flow path, such as a water-saving device for a faucet of a handle cock or a water-saving device for a shower. . In that case, the water saving tool 1 is used by reversing the vertical direction with respect to the water flow direction. Hereinafter, an embodiment in this case will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 7 is a side cross-sectional view showing a case where the water-saving device 1 is also used as a water-saving device of the type installed in the middle of the flow path, such as a handle cock type water-saving device for faucets or a water-saving device for showers.

As shown in FIG. 7, when the above-described water-saving device 1 according to the present embodiment is used as a water-saving device that is installed in the middle of a flow path, such as a handle cock-type faucet water saving device or a shower water saving device. On the other hand, contrary to the case of use as a single lever faucet water-saving device, the water-saving device 1 is turned upside down, the end 1b on the flange 3 side is arranged upstream, and the flange 3 is spouted. The spout Z is locked with the upper end of Z and fixed by means such as a cap screw for fastening and fixing the spout Z. Thus, since the structure for installing the water saving tool 1 in the upper end of the spout Z in the middle of a flow path should just use a well-known thing suitably, the detail is not demonstrated in particular.

In a state where the water-saving device 1 as shown in FIG. 1 is simply inverted and installed, the adjustment unit 2 provided with the water passage hole 2b for setting the throttle amount is on the upper side, and the adjustment unit 4 provided with the water passage hole 4b is provided on the upper side. Although it will be located below, there is a possibility that the adjustment unit 4 may be removed by water pressure. Therefore, as in the embodiment shown in FIG. 7, it is preferable to attach to the spout Z the adjustment unit 4 attached from above with the attachment member N in a state where only the main body of the water-saving device 1 is inverted. According to this configuration, as described above, the water flow is reduced according to the substantial opening area of the water passage hole 2b determined by the relative positional relationship between the water passage holes 2b and 4b of the adjusting portions 2 and 4. The water flow is adjusted by interference / buffering by a portion (obstacle) other than the substantial opening area of the water passage hole 2b. In addition, since there is a certain distance from the adjusting portion 2 to the downstream end portion 1a of the cylindrical portion 1c, the inner wall of the cylinder corresponding to this distance becomes the water flow guide wall (or sleeve) 6 to obtain a rectifying action. it can. This also reduces the risk of a rushing water flow, such as an undesired jet flow, that may be caused by squeezing the water flow in the adjusting unit 2 from the faucet. That is, the water flow squeezed out in the adjusting portion 2 jumps out vigorously, but the water that jumps out collides with the wall surface of the water flow guide wall (or sleeve) 6 formed on the downstream side of the water-saving device 1. 6 rectifies the water so that the water flows smoothly in the spout Z. In general, when the water-saving device 1 is arranged in the middle of the flow path as described above, the flow of water can be reduced due to the presence of the flow path such as the spout Z without arranging the rectifying kit 5 (see FIG. 4) as described above. Can be rectified. However, when the length of the spout Z itself is short, the rectifying action by the spout Z cannot be expected so much and an undesired jet flow may be discharged. However, as in this embodiment, by forming the water flow guide wall (or sleeve) 6 near the downstream end 1a of the cylindrical portion 1c, the flow of the water can be rectified, and a short spout Z is used. Even in this case, the possibility that an undesired jet flow is discharged can be reduced. As described above, the water-saving device 1 according to the present invention can be used not only for a single lever type faucet but also for a handle cock type faucet. This is advantageous in that the cost for manufacturing the water-saving device 1 can be reduced, and the number of members to be carried when the water-saving device is actually arranged is reduced.

The specific configuration of the water-saving device 1 is not limited to that described above, and can be variously modified. FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view showing a modified example of the water-saving device 1. In addition to the water flow adjusting portion 2, the water saving tool 1 shown in FIG. 8 further has a water flow adjusting portion 2 'formed integrally in the cylindrical portion 1c of the end 1a opposite to the flange 3 (that is, the water inlet). It is. That is, two partition-shaped adjustment portions 2 and 2 ′ having openings for water passage are formed in the cylindrical portion 1 c of the water-saving device 1. One or a plurality of water passage holes 2b and 2b 'are formed in each adjustment portion 2 and 2' with appropriate shapes, arrangements, and dimensions. Here, an example is shown in which an adjustment portion 2 having one water passage hole 2b in the center and an adjustment portion 2 'having four water passage holes 2b' around the center hole are provided. The flow rate adjusting member 7 has a shaft portion formed in a screw shape and a groove for fitting an attachment device such as a screwdriver in the head portion. The flow rate adjustment member 7 is placed in the center of the adjustment portion 2 ′ by the attachment device. It can be attached to the hole so that it can move up and down. A flow rate adjusting plate 7 a that does not have a hole having a predetermined shape is formed on the end surface opposite to the head portion of the flow rate adjusting member 7, and the outer shape of the flow rate adjusting plate 7 a is formed in the water passage hole 2 b of the adjusting unit 2. It is formed in an almost perfect shape. When the flow rate adjusting member 7 is moved up and down, the distance between the upper surface of the water flow hole 2b of the water flow adjusting unit 2 and the lower surface of the flow rate adjusting plate 7a of the flow rate adjusting member 7 changes accordingly. Since the water flow rate is narrowed in accordance with the size of this interval (that is, the size of the flow path formed between the flow rate adjusting plate 4 and the water passage hole 2b of the adjusting unit 2), Smooth flow rate adjustment can be performed by adjusting the size. Further, when the water flow flowing out from the water flow hole 2b ′ of the adjusting portion 2 ′ hits the flow rate adjusting plate 7a of the flow rate adjusting member 7, interference / buffering action is generated, and the water flow can be adjusted. Further, as in the modification shown in FIG. 8B, the distance between the lower surface portion of the water flow hole 2 b ′ of the water flow adjusting portion 2 ′ and the upper surface portion of the flow rate adjusting plate 7 a of the flow rate adjusting member 7 is adjusted. Therefore, the flow rate may be adjusted.
A hole having a predetermined shape may be formed in the flow rate adjusting plate 7a. In such a case, even if the flow rate adjusting plate 7a is lowered to a position where the water flow hole 2b of the adjusting unit 2 is almost completely closed, it is convenient because a predetermined water discharge flow rate can be secured.

FIG. 9 is a cross-sectional view showing another modification of the water-saving device 1. In the example of FIG. 9, the water passage hole (opening) 2b of the adjusting unit 2 that adjusts the water flow restriction amount is formed not to be parallel to the water flow direction but to be appropriately inclined (preferably centered on the lower surface side). A slanted direction that is closer to the outside and opposite to the outside). In this embodiment, the shaft portion itself of the flow rate adjusting member 7 adjusts the flow rate according to the vertical movement of the flow rate adjusting member 7. Of course, in this case as well, as shown in FIG. 8, a flow rate adjusting plate 7a may be provided at the tip of the flow rate adjusting member 7 to adjust the flow rate.

FIG. 10 is a cross-sectional view showing still another modification of the water-saving device 1. In the example of FIG. 10, the water flow adjusting part 2 is formed in the wall surface of the cylindrical part 1c, without forming the water flow adjusting part 2 in the shape of a plate (or partition wall) that crosses the flow path. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 10, four rectangular water passage holes 2b having openings of a predetermined size are formed at intervals of 90 degrees. In the figure, the water flow coming from above enters between the outside of the cylindrical portion 1c and the inner wall of the pipe, and enters the inside of the cylindrical portion 1c through a plurality of water passage holes 2b on the side wall surface of the cylindrical portion 1c. A flow rate adjusting member 7 is disposed inside the cylindrical portion 1c, and the flow rate adjusting member 7 has a convex portion having a shape in which the outer peripheral surface substantially coincides with the inside of the cylindrical portion 1c. In this configuration, the flow rate is adjusted by the vertical movement of the flow rate adjusting member 7. That is, when the flow rate adjusting member 7 is moved up and down, the outer peripheral surface of the convex portion of the flow rate adjusting member 7 partially blocks the plurality of water passage holes 2b, so that the opening area of the water passage hole 2b is increased. Will change. As the opening areas of the plurality of water passage holes 2b change, the amount of water that enters the cylindrical portion 1c from the plurality of water passage holes 2b changes. That is, flow rate adjustment can be realized.
In addition, as shown to Fig.10 (a), when the groove | channel for fitting an attachment tool in both of the flow volume adjustment member 7 is formed, it will come to be able to attach from any direction up and down, and is convenient. .

As shown in FIG. 10 (b), the plurality of water passage holes 2b formed on the side wall surface of the cylindrical portion 1c may be formed so as to be appropriately inclined rather than perpendicular to the water flow direction. Moreover, the water-saving tool 1 of the Example shown here implement | achieves flow volume adjustment because the outer peripheral surface of the axial part of the flow volume adjustment member 7 partially block | closes these water flow holes 2b.
In this case, a plurality of holes of a predetermined size and shape are provided in the shaft portion of the flow rate adjusting member 7 from the side surface to the bottom surface, and the hole and the water passage hole on the side surface are overlapped to substantially The flow rate may be adjusted by determining a specific opening area (that is, the size of the flow path).

FIG. 11 is a cross-sectional view showing still another modification of the water-saving device 1. In the example of FIG. 11, the flow rate adjusting member R is arranged outside the cylindrical portion 1c, not inside the cylindrical portion 1c. Similarly to FIG. 10 described above, the plurality of water passage holes 2b of the adjusting portion 2 are formed in the wall surface of the cylindrical portion 1c, and the water flow coming from above in the drawing is a plurality of water passage holes on the side wall surface of the cylindrical portion 1c. It enters into the inside of the cylindrical part 1c from 2b. In this configuration, the flow rate is adjusted by moving up and down a ring-shaped flow rate adjusting member R that can be screwed to the outside of the cylindrical portion 1c. That is, when the flow rate adjusting member R is moved up and down, the inner peripheral surface of the flow rate adjusting member R partially closes the plurality of water passage holes 2b. (That is, the size of the flow path) changes. As the substantial opening area of the plurality of water passage holes 2b changes, the amount of water that enters the cylindrical portion 1c from the plurality of water passage holes 2b changes. That is, flow rate adjustment can be realized.

Moreover, as shown in FIG.11 (b), the water flow hole Ra is provided in the side surface of the flow volume adjustment member R arrange | positioned outside the cylindrical part 1c, and water flow of this water flow hole Ra and the side surface of the cylindrical part 1c is carried out. The flow rate may be adjusted depending on the degree of overlap with the hole 2b. In this case, the ring-shaped flow rate adjusting member R is freely rotated along the outer periphery of the cylindrical portion 1c. Then, the relative position between the position of the water passage hole 2b on the side surface of the cylindrical portion 1c and the position of the water passage hole Ra of the flow rate adjusting member R changes, and the overlapping state of the water passage holes 2b and Ra changes. That is, the substantial opening area (that is, the size of the flow path) of the water passage hole 2b changes. Depending on the size of the opening area, the water flow rate is narrowed down and smooth flow rate adjustment is performed. The flow rate adjusting member R is fastened and fixed to the upper end of the cylindrical portion 1c by the mounting member N.

In addition, in each Example shown in FIGS. 8-11, several indications which show the predetermined position according to the amount of discharged water on the axis | shaft of the flow volume adjustment member 7 are described previously, and according to the amount of discharged water required. It is preferable that the flow rate adjusting member 7 can be punched and fixed at an appropriate position in accordance with the display. In this way, anyone can easily adjust the flow rate so that a desired amount of discharged water can be obtained.

In the water-saving device 10 shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, the pressure-receiving portions 5a, 5a1, and 5a2 may be omitted, and the water-saving device 10 may be configured with the water-saving device 1 and the equal plates 5c and 5b. Such a configuration is suitable for use in low water pressure locations.
Furthermore, the equal plates 5c and 5b can be used at the faucet outlet as an alternative to the conventionally known mesh portion M. The mesh part M has disadvantages such as easy dusting and poor durability. However, the uniform plates 5c and 5b according to the present invention are made of a porous metal plate or the like, and are durable. Clogging is unlikely to occur.
In each of the embodiments described above, the flow rate can be adjusted by rotational displacement. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the flow rate can be adjusted by linear displacement or oblique displacement. It may be what you did.
