Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an insulating / waterproofing cover used for insulation, waterproofing, and the like of a power cable connection portion and the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For insulation, waterproofing, etc. of the connection part of the power cable (hereinafter referred to as “cable”), the cable connection part etc. is inserted into the self-shrinkable tube that is supported by the diameter expansion on the diameter expansion support member. By removing, a self-shrinkable tube (hereinafter referred to as an exterior tube) is attached to the cable connecting portion.
[0003]
When attaching the outer tube to the cable connecting portion as described above, if the diameter of the cable to be connected is substantially equal, the outer tube having a constant outer diameter may be attached to the cable connecting portion. In the case where the difference in diameter is large, the use of an outer tube matched to the diameter of the cable having a larger diameter deteriorates the adhesion between the cable having a smaller diameter and the inner surface of the outer tube, and the waterproof property and the like are lowered.
In addition, when the conductor connection metal fitting has a burr, the outer tube may be damaged when the outer tube and the conductor connection metal fitting come into close contact with each other.
In such a case, conventionally, an outer tube is formed in advance with a mold and the diameters of both end portions are reduced.
[0004]
4 and 5 are diagrams showing a conventional example when an outer tube is attached to a cable connecting portion having a large diameter difference. In FIGS. 4B and 5, the upper half shows a cross-sectional view and the lower half shows An external view is shown.
When the outer tube is attached to a cable connecting portion having a large diameter difference, as shown in FIG. 4A, an outer tube 10 having both end portions A and B formed by a mold and having a small diameter is prepared. And as shown in FIG.4 (b), the diameter expansion support member 3 was attached to the both ends A and B of the exterior tube 10, the both ends A and B were expanded, and it was supported on the diameter expansion support member 3. After inserting the cable connecting portion into the outer tube 10, the diameter expansion support member 3 is removed, and the outer tube 10 is mounted on the cable connecting portion.
As the diameter-expanded support member 3, a spiral-shaped diameter-expanded support member in which a strip-shaped body having a constant width that can be easily pulled out is formed in a spiral shape is used. By pulling out the portion (not shown), the expanded diameter support member is disassembled and removed.
[0005]
FIG. 5 shows a cable connecting portion having a large diameter difference in which the outer tube 10 is mounted as described above. 4 is a cable having a large diameter, 5 is a cable having a small diameter, and conductors of the cables 4 and 5. Are connected by crimping with the conductor fittings 6, and the outer tube 10 is mounted on the connecting portion as described above.
Since the outer tube 10 is formed in a shape as shown in FIG. 4A, both end portions of the outer tube 10 are in close contact with the surfaces of the cables 4 and 5 when the diameter-enlarged support member 3 is removed. Sex can be secured.
[0006]
In addition, when there is a burr in the conductor connecting metal 6 and the outer tube 10 may be damaged when the outer tube 10 is in close contact with the conductor connecting metal 6, the inner diameter of the central portion of the outer tube 10 is set to the inner diameter of the conductor connecting metal 6. Keep it slightly larger than the outer diameter. In this way, when the exterior tube 10 is attached to the connecting portion, the exterior tube 10 and the conductor connection fitting 6 are not in close contact with each other, so that the exterior tube 10 is prevented from being damaged by the burr of the conductor connection fitting 6. Can do.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
When attaching an outer tube to a cable connection part with a large diameter difference, or when there is a burr in the conductor connection fitting, conventionally, an outer tube whose diameter at both ends has been reduced by molding or the like in advance is used as described above. It was.
For this reason, the outer tube must be formed in advance by a mold, and an outer tube having a shape corresponding to the cable connection portion must be prepared, and a tube having a constant diameter manufactured by extrusion molding cannot be used as it is. . In addition, a mold is required, and when the dimensions of the connecting portion are changed, the mold needs to be corrected.
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present inventors first support the inner tube, the outer tube, and the outer tube on both ends of the diameter expansion support member to expand the diameter, and disassemble and remove the diameter expansion support member. In this way, an insulating and waterproofing cover in which an inner tube, an outer tube, and an outer tube are attached to a cable connecting portion has been proposed (Japanese Patent Application No. 10-235344).
FIG. 6 is a view showing the above-described insulating waterproof cover. FIG. 6A shows a state in which the outer tube is supported by an enlarged diameter support member, 1 is an outer tube, 2 a and 2 b are inner tubes, 3 is an enlarged diameter support member, and the outer tube is placed outside the outer tube 1. 1, outer tubes 7a and 7b formed of a self-shrinkable elastic body are attached.
FIG. 6B shows a state in which the inner tubes 2a and 2b, the outer tube 1 and the outer tubes 7a and 7b are mounted on the cable connecting portion, and the cable connecting portion is supported by the diameter expansion shown in FIG. 6A. The inner tube 2a, 2b, the outer tube 1, and the outer tubes 7a, 7b are self-contracted by being inserted into the outer tube 1 and disassembled / removed, and the inner tube 2a, 2b, outer tube 1, and outer tubes 7a and 7b are attached.
If the insulation waterproof cover shown in FIG. 6 is used, an inexpensive tube manufactured by extrusion molding can be used as the outer tube, and there is no need for molding by a mold. It is easy to cope with changes in the length and outer diameter of the cable connecting portion. Further, the outer tubes 7a and 7b can be tightened from the outside of the outer tube 1, and there is no problem that the cable connecting portion is submerged between the inner tube and the outer tube or the inner tube and the outer tube are displaced.
By the way, in the above insulation waterproof cover, in order to further prevent interfacial water immersion between the inner tube and the outer tube and dropout of the inner tube, the length of the inner tube is increased or the diameter difference between the inner tube and the outer tube is increased. There is a need.
However, when the length of the inner tube is increased, there is a problem that the cost is increased and the assembling property is deteriorated, and that the assembling property is similarly deteriorated when the diameter difference between the inner tube and the outer tube is increased.
In addition, in the insulating waterproof cover, it is necessary to attach two inner tubes and two outer tubes to the expanded diameter holding member, and there is a problem that the number of assembling steps increases. Furthermore, since the above-described insulating waterproof cover has a large step between the cover end and the cable, when winding the tape, it is necessary to wind the end of the cover.
The present invention has been made in view of the circumstances described above, and the purpose thereof is to further improve waterproofness and airtightness, and to prevent displacement of the outer tube, It is another object of the present invention to provide an insulating waterproof cover that can be easily wound with tape.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the present invention, the above problem is solved as follows.
(1) In the cover for insulation / waterproofing attached to the connection portion of the power cable, the cover has a slightly larger inner diameter than the outer diameter of the conductor connection fitting for connecting the cable conductors, and both ends have two power cables. An outer tube with a uniform thickness across the insulator and an inner diameter that is slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the power cable insulator and larger than the outer diameter of the outer tube. In this state, the first and second adapters are provided with an annular groove having an inner diameter substantially equal to the inner diameter of the outer tube and an outer diameter substantially equal to the outer diameter of the outer tube. Both end portions of the outer tube are inserted into the grooves of the first and second adapters, and both end portions of the first and second adapters and the outer tube are expanded and supported on the first and second expanded diameter supporting members. The By positioning the first and second adapters on the insulators of the two power cables and dismantling and removing the first and second diameter-expanding support members, the first and second adapters and the outer tube are removed. Install on the power cable connection.
( 2 ) In the above (1) , a slope is provided on one end side of the first and second adapters where the outer tube insertion groove is not provided.
[0009]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 are views showing a first embodiment of the present invention. This embodiment shows an embodiment in which an exterior tube is attached to a cable connecting portion having a large diameter difference.
FIG. 1A shows a state in which an outer tube is supported by a diameter-enlarged support member, 1 is an outer tube, 21 and 22 are adapters, and 3 is a diameter-enlarged support member in which a strip-like body is formed in a spiral shape as described above. is there.
As shown in FIG. 2A, the outer tube 1 used in the present embodiment is a tube having a constant thickness formed from an elastic body that is self-shrinking at room temperature, and the inner diameter thereof is a connection of a conductor connecting portion. Slightly larger than the bracket. The outer tube 1 is manufactured by, for example, extrusion molding and cut into a desired length and used.
[0010]
The adapters 21 and 22 have inner diameters A-0 and A-0 ′ smaller than the outer diameters of the cable insulators to be connected as shown in FIGS. The adapters 21 and 22 are provided with an annular outer tube insertion groove 20a (hereinafter simply referred to as a groove 20a) having an inner diameter of A-1 and an outer diameter of A-2. In the state before being expanded, the inner diameter A-1 of the groove is substantially equal to the inner diameter B-1 of the outer tube 1, and the outer diameter A-2 of the groove is the outer diameter B of the outer tube 1. Approximately equal to -2. Moreover, the said groove | channel 20a of the adapters 21 and 22 is provided, and the slope 20b is provided in the opposite side to the side.
In order to expand and support the outer tube 1 and the adapters 21 and 22 on the diameter-expanding support member 3, the both ends of the outer tube 1 are inserted into the grooves 20 a of the adapters 21 and 22, and then the diameter is expanded. As shown in FIG. 5, the diameter-expanded support member 3 supports the diameter-expanded support member 3. Here, in the state before the diameter is expanded, since A-1≈B-1 and A-2≈B-2 as described above, the outer tube 1 is easily inserted into the grooves 20a of the adapters 21 and 22. As a result, assembly workability is ensured.
[0011]
In order to attach the outer tube 1 to a cable connecting portion having a large diameter difference, as described above, after connecting the conductors of the two cables with the conductor fittings, the cable with the smaller outer diameter is the adapter 21 side, and the outer diameter is The cable connecting portion is inserted into the outer tube 10 that is supported to expand its diameter as shown in FIG. And as above-mentioned, the edge part of the strip | belt-shaped body of the spiral diameter expansion support member 3 is pulled out, and the diameter expansion support member 3 is disassembled and removed.
[0012]
As a result, the adapters 21 and 22 and the outer tube 1 are self-contracted, and the adapters 21 and 22 and the outer tube 1 are mounted on the cable connection portion as shown in FIG.
When the adapters 21 and 22 and the outer tube 1 are attached to the cable as shown in FIG. 1B, the inner diameter A-0 of the adapters 21 and 22 is expanded to the outer diameter of the cable insulator. Since the inner diameter A-1 and the outer diameter A-2 of the 22 grooves 20a are also pushed outward, the interfaces between the inner and outer surfaces of the outer tube 1 and the grooves 20a formed in the adapters 21 and 22 are in close contact with each other. For this reason, airtightness is maintained and the adapters 21 and 22 are prevented from coming off. Further, since the length of the interface is twice that in the case of FIG. 6, the waterproofness can be improved. Furthermore, since the outer tube 1 is fastened by the adapters 21 and 22 from the outside, the same effect as the case where the outer tube shown in FIG. 6 is provided can be obtained.
Further, since the adapters 21 and 22 are provided with the slope 20b, even if the tape is wound around the outside of the cover, it is not necessary to perform the end winding or the like.
[0013]
Note that, by setting the inner diameter of the outer tube 1 slightly larger than the outer diameter of the conductor connection fitting 6, a slight gap is formed between the outer tube 1 and the conductor connection fitting 6, as shown in FIG. Even if there are burrs on the conductor fitting 6, the outer tube 1 will not be damaged.
[0014]
As described above, in this embodiment, a groove having an inner diameter corresponding to the diameter difference of the cable to be connected and having an inner diameter and an outer diameter substantially equal to the inner diameter, outer diameter, and outer diameter of the outer tube is provided before the diameter expansion. Adapter, and both ends of the outer tube are inserted into the groove provided in the adapter to expand the diameter and are attached to the cable connection part. When attached to the cable connection part, the groove provided in the adapter and the outer tube Can be tightly secured to ensure sufficient airtightness and waterproofness and prevent the adapter from coming off. Furthermore, the workability of tape winding can be improved by providing the adapter with a slope.
In addition, similar to the one shown in FIG. 6, an inexpensive tube manufactured by extrusion molding can be used as the outer tube 1, and since there is no need for molding by a mold, the length of the cable connecting portion, It is easy to deal with changes in the outer diameter. Further, by setting the inner diameter of the outer tube 1 to be larger than the outer diameter of the conductor connecting metal 6, the outer tube 1 is not damaged even if the conductor connecting metal 6 has a burr.
Furthermore, only the both end portions of the outer tube are expanded by the expanded diameter support member, and the expanded diameter support member is divided into two, so that the expanded diameter support member can be easily pulled out and the workability is improved. be able to.
[0015]
FIG. 3 is a view showing a second embodiment of the present invention, and this embodiment shows an embodiment in which the present invention is applied to a cable connecting portion in which cables having the same outer diameter of a cable insulator are connected to each other.
FIG. 3A shows a state in which the outer tube is supported by an enlarged diameter support member, 1 is an outer tube, 21 and 21 ′ are adapters, and 3 is an enlarged diameter support member, which are connected in this embodiment. Since the outer diameters of the cable insulators are the same, adapters 21 and 21 ′ having the same dimensions are used.
[0016]
FIG. 3B shows a state in which the adapter 21 and the outer tube 1 are mounted on the cable connecting portion, and the diameter of the cable connecting portion shown in FIG. 3A is supported as in the first embodiment. The adapter 21 and the outer tube 1 are self-contracted by being inserted into the outer tube 1 and disassembling and removing the expanded diameter supporting member, and the adapter 21 and the outer tube 1 are mounted on the cable connection portion.
Also in this embodiment, as in the first embodiment, airtightness and waterproofness can be sufficiently secured, the adapter can be prevented from coming off, and the tape winding workability can be improved.
