Claims (7)
- 直交変換および可変長符号化された圧縮画像データを入力して,可変長復号処理を行い,直交変換係数を得る可変長復号処理手段,
上記可変長復号処理手段による可変長復号処理において得られた直交変換係数のうち,上記入力圧縮画像データによって表される画像のサイズと縮小すべき目標画像サイズとから,上記縮小すべき目標画像サイズに最も近い縮小画像が得られるように,逆直交変換に使用すべき低周波数成分の直交変換係数n/8(nは8未満の自然数)を決定する直交変換係数決定手段,
上記直交変換係数決定手段によって決定された直交変換係数を用いて逆直交変換処理を行い,縮小画像データを得る逆直交変換手段,ならびに
上記逆直交変換手段により得られた縮小画像データによって表される縮小画像のサイズが上記目標画像サイズでない場合に,上記縮小すべき目標画像サイズとなるように,上記縮小画像データのデータ量を調整する調整手段,
を備えた画像復号縮小装置。 - 携帯型端末装置から送信された携帯型端末装置の機種情報および画像データ・リクエストに応答して,圧縮画像データ記憶装置に記憶されている携帯型端末装置に送信すべき画像データであって直交変換および可変長符号化された圧縮画像データのうち,対応する圧縮画像データを見つける圧縮画像データ検索手段,
上記圧縮画像データ検索手段によって見つけられた圧縮画像データを入力して,可変長復号処理を行い,直交変換係数を得る可変長復号処理手段,
上記可変長復号処理手段による可変長復号処理において得られた直交変換係数のうち,上記入力圧縮画像データによって表される画像のサイズと縮小すべき目標画像サイズとから,上記縮小すべき目標画像サイズに最も近い縮小画像が得られるように,逆直交変換に使用すべき低周波数成分の直交変換係数n/8(nは8未満の自然数)を決定する直交変換係数決定手段,
上記直交変換係数決定手段によって決定された直交変換係数を用いて逆直交変換処理を行い,縮小画像データを得る逆直交変換手段,
上記逆直交変換手段により得られた縮小画像データによって表される縮小画像のサイズが上記目標画像サイズでない場合に,上記縮小すべき目標画像サイズとなるように,上記縮小画像データのデータ量を調整する調整手段,ならびに
上記調整手段によってデータ量が調整された縮小画像データを,画像データ・リクエストを送信した携帯型端末装置に送信する画像データ送信手段,
を備えた画像配信サーバ。 - 上記圧縮画像データ記憶装置が,上記画像配信サーバと別個に設けられている請求項2に記載の画像配信サーバ。
- 携帯型端末装置から送信され,かつ直交変換および可変長符号化された圧縮画像データが添付された電子メールを受信し,添付された圧縮画像データと電子メール本体とに分離する分離手段,
上記分離手段によって分離された圧縮画像データを入力して可変長復号処理を行い,直交変換係数を得る可変長復号処理手段,
上記可変長復号処理手段による可変長復号処理において得られた直交変換係数のうち,上記入力圧縮画像データによって表される画像のサイズと縮小すべき目標画像サイズとから,上記縮小すべき目標画像サイズに最も近い縮小画像が得られるように,逆直交変換に使用すべき低周波数成分の直交変換係数n/8(nは8未満の自然数)を決定する直交変換係数決定手段,
上記直交変換係数決定手段によって決定された直交変換係数を用いて逆直交変換処理を行い,縮小画像データを得る逆直交変換手段,
上記逆直交変換手段により得られた縮小画像データによって表される縮小画像のサイズが上記目標画像サイズでない場合に,上記縮小すべき目標画像サイズとなるように,上記縮小画像データのデータ量を調整する調整手段,ならびに
上記調整手段によってデータ量が調整された縮小画像データと上記分離手段によって分離された電子メール本体とを,上記電子メール本体に含まれる送信先に送信する電子メール送信手段,
を備えた画像添付メール中継サーバ。 - 上記電子メール送信手段が,
上記逆直交変換手段によって得られた縮小画像データを上記分離手段によって分離された電子メール本体に添付して,上記電子メール本体に含まれる送信先に送信する,
あるいは,上記分離手段によって分離された電子メール本体に含まれる送信先に電子メール本体を送信し,上記送信先からのリクエストに応じて,上記逆直交変換手段によって得られた縮小画像データを上記送信先に送信するものである,
請求項4に記載の画像添付メール中継サーバ。 - 上記縮小画像データが動画を表す縮小画像データである,請求項5に記載の画像添付メール中継サーバ。
- 可変長復号処理手段が,直交変換および可変長符号化された圧縮画像データを入力して,可変長復号処理を行い,直交変換係数を得,
直交変換係数決定手段が,上記可変長復号処理において得られた直交変換係数のうち,上記入力圧縮画像データによって表される画像のサイズと縮小すべき目標画像サイズとから,上記縮小すべき目標画像サイズに最も近い縮小画像が得られるように,逆直交変換に使用すべき低周波数成分の直交変換係数を決定し,
逆直交変換手段が,決定された直交変換係数n/8(nは8未満の自然数)を用いて逆直交変換処理を行い,縮小画像データを得,
調整手段が,上記逆直交変換処理により得られた縮小画像データによって表される縮小画像のサイズが上記目標画像サイズでない場合に,上記縮小すべき目標画像サイズとなるように,上記縮小画像データのデータ量を調整する,
