Description
本発明は、六方晶窒化硼素質成形体、その製造方法及び用途に関する。詳しくは、曲部におけるワレやクラック等の発生が起こりにくい六方晶窒化硼素質焼結体を得るための六方晶窒化硼素質成形体とその製造方法に関し、更には曲部を有する六方晶窒化硼素質焼結体に関するものである。

配向角度は、曲部の曲がり方向に対して垂直な方向から、粉末X線回折の(002)面と(100)面の回折線強度I002、I100を測定し、式、(配向角度)=tan−1{6.25/(I002/I100)}、によって算出された値である。
この場合において、六方晶窒化硼素粉が、黒鉛化指数2以下の結晶性粒子を20〜80質量%を含むものであることが好ましい。
Claims (3)
- 六方晶窒化硼素粉末を含有してなる曲部のある成形体であって、以下で定義された配向角度が33〜37°であり、六方晶窒化硼素粉末又はそれを含む混合粉末に、振動を与える(タップ振動)方法でラバープレス型に充填して密度を0.57〜0.61g/cm3とした後、等方圧加圧成形して密度を1.61〜1.69g/cm3とすることを特徴とする六方晶窒化硼素質成形体の製造方法。
〔配向角度の定義〕
曲部の曲がり方向に対して垂直な方向から、粉末X線回折の(002)面と(100)面の回折線強度I002、I100を測定し、式、(配向角度)=tan−1{6.25/(I002/I100)}、によって算出された値。 - 六方晶窒化硼素粉末が、黒鉛化指数2以下の結晶性粒子を20〜80質量%を含むものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の六方晶窒化硼素質成形体の製造方法。
- 請求項1又は2記載の六方晶窒化硼素質成形体の製造方法で六方晶窒化硼素質成形体を製造し、さらに、非酸化性雰囲気下、1700〜2100℃で熱処理することを特徴とする六方晶窒化硼素質焼結体の製造方法。
