【発明の属する技術分野】
この発明は、例えばＣＤ（コンパクトディスク）やＤＶＤやビデオテープなどを、レンタル店舗で陳列するための、レンタル商品の万引き防止ケースに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
レンタル店舗において展示されているＣＤやビデオテープやＤＶＤなどのレンタル商品が、万引きされるのを防止するために、レンタル商品を取り出せないようにする錠付のケースに電波式や磁気式や電磁波式の万引き防止タグを取り付けて展示し、レンタル代金の清算と引換に、前記ケースの全体あるいは万引き防止タグのみを取り外して、レンタル商品を顧客にレンタルしている。
一方、万引き防止タグが取り外されていないレンタル商品をレンタル店舗から持ち出そうとすると、店の出口に設けた万引き防止装置で万引き防止タグが検知されて、未清算のままレンタル商品が持ち出されるのを防止するようになっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
前記従来の前者の万引き防止ケース１１においては、その開口部（収納ケース１１ａと蓋１１ｂとの当接部）を錠部材１０で固定した状態（図５の（ｃ）参照）で、レンタル商品Ｍに比べて、万引き防止ケース１１の幅Ｗが大きいために、万引き防止ケース１１の蓋１１ｂをこじ開けて、その隙間からレンタル商品が引き出されて、レンタル商品Ｍが万引きされるおそれがあった。
また、万引き防止ケース１１の蓋１１ｂがこじ開けられないようにするため、レンタル商品Ｍを収納する万引き防止ケース１１の収納ケース１１ａおよび蓋１１ｂをポリカーボネイトなどの強固な原料を使用して作ったり、原料を大量に使用して強度を強く作ると、製造コストが高くなるといった問題が生じる。
