この図1例において、リチウムイオン2次電池8の充電を開始したときには、定電流充電を行う(ステップS1)と共に定電流充電より定電圧充電に切替える設定電圧をこのリチウムイオン2次電池8の上限電圧Vh以内の比較的高い電圧例えばこの上限電圧Vhあるいはこの近傍の電圧の第1の設定電圧Vc1とする(ステップS2)。
Claims (2)
- 充電しようとするリチウムイオン2次電池と大地との間の接続された逆流防止用スイッチ、充電用スイッチ及び電流検出用抵抗器の直列回路と、
前記逆流防止用スイッチ及び充電用スイッチを制御して一定間隔で前記リチウムイオン2次電池の充電と開放とを繰り返すようにすると共に前記開放時に前記リチウムイオン2次電池の規定電圧と電池開放電圧との差電圧を検出するようにした充電制御回路と、
前記差電圧が予め定めた切替差電圧までは、前記リチウムイオン2次電池の上限電圧内の比較的高い第1の設定電圧で定電流充電し、前記差電圧が前記切替差電圧より小さくなったときに、設定電圧を前記第1の設定電圧よりも低い第2の設定電圧に切替えて定電圧充電するようにした定電流・定電圧制御回路とを有することを特徴とするリチウムイオン2次電池の充電装置。 - リチウムイオン2次電池を一定間隔で充電と開放とを繰り返すようにすると共に前記開放時に前記リチウムイオン2次電池の規定電圧と電池開放電圧との差電圧を検出するようにし、前記差電圧が予め定めた切替差電圧までは、前記リチウムイオン2次電池の上限電圧内の比較的高い第1の設定電圧で定電流充電し、前記差電圧が前記切替差電圧より小さくなったときに、設定電圧を前記第1の設定電圧よりも低い第2の設定電圧に切替えて定電圧充電するようにし、前記差電圧が予め定めた前記切替差電圧より小さい完了差電圧となったときに充電を完了するようにしたことを特徴とするリチウムイオン2次電池の充電方法。
