Description
滅菌室を設け、
滅菌室に物品を配置し、
滅菌室をシールし、
滅菌室内の物品と気体(雰囲気)の温度を等しくし、
滅菌室に予め決められた真空圧の真空を適用し、
真空下の滅菌室に水蒸気を供給し、
滅菌室にオゾン含有ガスを供給し、
予め決められた処理時間の間、滅菌室をシールされた状態に保ち、
滅菌室内の真空を解放するステップからなり、
真空圧を利用することで、滅菌室内の水の沸点を滅菌室内の温度より低くする。
従って、本発明の滅菌装置は、
滅菌室と、
滅菌室、滅菌室内に配置された物品、及び滅菌室内の気体の温度を等しくするための手段と、
滅菌室にオゾン含有ガスを供給するための手段と、
滅菌室に水蒸気を供給するための手段と、
水の沸騰温度を滅菌室内の温度より低くするために、滅菌室に十分な真空を適用するための手段とを有する。
図1に概略的に図示されている、本発明のオゾン滅菌装置は、比較的単純な方法で作動する。医療品質(medical quality)酸素は、オゾン発生器内22において電界に曝され、オゾン含有ガスに変えられる。それから、オゾン含有ガスは、医療機器を滅菌する加湿された滅菌室10に入れられる。オゾンはその後、オゾン触媒52を使用して、再び酸素に変えられる。滅菌サイクル終了後に残る残物は、酸素及び浄水のみである。
PLCのCPUは、3つのRS232ポートを有する。1つはタッチスクリーン端末(118)にデータを送受信するために用いられ、もう1つは感熱式プリンタにデータを送信するために用いられ、最後のポートは、コントロール・プロトコル・プログラムをアップロードするために、PC(パソコン)がPLCのCPU(108)と接続し通信を行うことができるサービスポートとして用いられる(コントロール・プロトコル・プログラムは、本明細書の範囲ではない。)
Claims (23)
- 滅菌ガス雰囲気下において物品を滅菌する方法であって、
(a)滅菌室(10)を設け、
(b)該滅菌室(10)に前記物品を配置し、
(c)前記滅菌室(10)内の前記物品と気体の温度を等しくし、
(d)前記滅菌室(10)をシールし、
(e)前記滅菌室(10)内の圧力を、前記滅菌室(10)内の水の沸点が前記滅菌室(10)内の温度より低くなるような滅菌圧力に調整するために、前記滅菌室(10)に真空を適用し、
(f)前記滅菌室(10)内の気体を加湿するための水を前記滅菌室(10)に供給し、
(g)オゾン含有滅菌ガスを前記滅菌室(10)に供給し、
(h)予め定められた時間の間、前記滅菌室(10)内の滅菌圧力を維持し、
(i)前記滅菌室(10)内の真空を解放するステップからなる、
滅菌方法。 - 前記温度を等しくするステップが、前記物品、前記滅菌室(10)内の気体、及び前記気体と接触する部品及び材料の温度を等しくすることを含む、請求項1の方法。
- 前記滅菌室(10)内の温度が25℃〜40℃で作動する、請求項1の方法。
- 25℃〜35℃の温度で作動する、請求項3の方法。
- 前記真空の圧力が0.1〜10mbarの間にある、請求項1から3のいずれかの方法。
- 前記真空の圧力が0.5〜2mbarの間にある、請求項5の方法。
- 前記滅菌室(10)内の湿度が85%〜100%になるように、前記水の量が決められる、請求項1の方法。
- 湿度が少なくとも95%となるように前記水の量が決められる、請求項7の方法。
- 前記ステップ(c)〜(f)が少なくとも一回繰返される、請求項1の方法。
- 前記ステップ(c)〜(f)が、前記物品を完全に滅菌するのを確実にするために十分な回数繰返される、請求項9の方法。
- 大気中へオゾンが放出されるのを防ぐために、前記滅菌室(10)から排出された全てのガスをオゾン破壊手段(52)に通すステップをさらに有する、請求項1の方法。
- 物品を滅菌するための滅菌装置であって、
真空滅菌室(10)と、
前記滅菌室(10)内の物品と気体の温度を等しくするための手段(18,44)と、
前記滅菌室(10)にオゾン含有滅菌ガスを供給するための手段(22)と、 前記滅菌室(10)に水蒸気を供給するための手段(30)と、
前記水の沸騰温度を、前記滅菌室(10)内の温度より低くするために前記滅菌室(10)へ十分な真空を適用するための手段(40)とからなる、
滅菌装置。 - 予め定められた滅菌処理時間の間、前記滅菌室(10)内の滅菌圧力を維持するための手段(26)をさらに有する、請求項12の装置。
- 前記適用するための手段(40)が前記滅菌室(10)をシールするためのドア(12)を有し、前記水蒸気を供給するための手段(30)が貯水器を具えた加湿器(32)を有し、前記装置が、前記滅菌室、前記ドア(12)、前記加湿器(32)及び前記貯水器の温度を制御するための手段をさらに有する、請求項12の装置。
- 前記十分な真空を適用するための手段(40)が、前記真空圧を、前記滅菌室(10)内の水が全て水蒸気の状態となる滅菌圧力になるように調整するための手段(44)を有する、請求項12の装置。
- 前記滅菌室(10)から排出された滅菌ガスに含まれるオゾンを破壊するための手段(52)をさらに有する、請求項12の装置。
- 前記オゾン含有滅菌ガスを供給するための手段(22)が、少なくとも1つのオゾン発生器(22)である、請求項12の装置。
- 前記真空を適用するための手段が、少なくとも55.3mbarまで低い真空圧を発生させることが可能な真空ポンプ(40)である、請求項12の装置。
- 前記真空ポンプ(40)が、少なくとも22.6mbarまで低い真空圧を発生させる、請求項18の装置。
- 前記真空ポンプ(40)が、1.0mbar未満の真空圧を発生させる、請求項19の装置。
- 前記滅菌室(10)内のオゾンのレベルをモニタするための手段(105)をさらに有する、請求項12の装置。
- 前記滅菌室(10)内の真空圧をモニタするための手段(104)及び前記真空圧を調整するための手段(44)をさらに有する、請求項12の装置。
- 前記オゾンレベルをモニタするための手段(105)及び前記真空圧をモニタするための手段(104)によりそれぞれ提供される、前記滅菌室(10)内のオゾン濃度及び真空圧の情報に応じて、前記水蒸気を供給するための手段(30)及び前記真空を適用するための手段(40)を制御することにより前記装置の作動を制御するための手段(107,108,109,110,111,112)をさらに有する、請求項21又は22の装置。
