Description
Claims (28)
- 無線ネットワークで使用するための装置であって、
前記ネットワーク内の受取人装置の宛て先アドレスを有する第1の部分、及び第2の部分を含むパケットを作成する手段と、
前記第2の部分から前記宛先アドレスを決定する手段と、
所定の伝送速度で前記第1の部分を送信する手段と、
さらに速い伝送速度で前記第2の部分を送信する手段と、
を備える、装置。 - 前記第1の部分は、前記ネットワークが占有されている期間に対応する持続期間識別子をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の部分は、前記第2の部分の伝送パラメータ及び前記第2の部分の長さをさらに含む、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記伝送手段は前記第1の部分を送信するためにBPSK OFDMを利用するように設定する、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記装置はIEEE 802.11規格に従って動作するように設けられる、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記宛て先アドレスは前記第2の部分からコピーされる、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記宛て先アドレスは前記第2の部分からの前記アドレスの短縮バージョンである、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記宛て先アドレスは前記受取人装置の関連識別子である、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記送信手段及び前記作成手段は、プロセッサ上で実行するPLCP層ソフトウェアを備える、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記送信されたパケットの意図された受取人から否定応答(NACK)を受信するための手段をさらに備える、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記NACKはフィードバック情報を含む、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記パケットを再送するための手段をさらに備える、請求項10又は11に記載の装置。
- 前記第2の部分は、前記第1の伝送の前記第2の部分の場合より遅い伝送速度で送信される、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記NACKは、前記装置のアドレス、又は意図された受取人のアドレスを含み、装置アドレスを含まない、請求項10〜13のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 無線ネットワークでパケットを送信する方法であって、
前記ネットワークの受取人装置の宛て先アドレスを有する第1の部分、及び第2の部分を含む前記パケットを作成することと、
前記第2の部分から前記宛て先アドレスを生成することと、
所定の伝送速度で前記第1の部分を送信し、さらに速い伝送速度で前記第2の部分を送信することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記第1の部分は、前記ネットワークが占有されている前記期間に対応する持続期間識別子をさらに含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の部分は前記第2の部分の伝送パラメータ及び前記第2の部分の長さをさらに含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- BPSK OFDMは前記第1の部分を送信するために利用される、請求項15〜17のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- IEEE 802.11規格に従って動作する、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記宛て先アドレスは前記第2の部分からコピーされる、請求項15〜19のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記宛て先アドレスは前記第2の部分からの前記アドレスの短縮バージョンである、請求項15〜19のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記宛て先アドレスは前記受取人装置の関連識別子である、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記送信されたパケットの意図された受取人から否定応答(NACK)を受信することをさらに含む、請求項15〜19のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記NACKはフィードバック情報を含む、請求項23に記載の方法。
- 前記パケットを再送することをさらに含む、請求項23又は24に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の部分は、前記第1の伝送の前記第2の部分の場合よりさらに遅い伝送速度で送信される、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 前記NACKは前記装置のアドレスを含む、又は意図された受取人のアドレスを含み、前記装置アドレスを含まない、請求項24〜26のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 請求項15〜27のいずれか1項に記載の方法を、プロセッサ上で実施する時に実行するように構成されるプロセッサコードを含む、プロセッサコード記録媒体。
