Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an improvement in a floor brush of a vacuum cleaner.
[0002]
[Prior art]
FIG. 9 is a bottom view of a conventional floor brush used in a vacuum cleaner, and FIG. 10 is a side cross-sectional view taken along line AA in FIG. In the figure, 1 is a floor brush, 2 is an upper case, 3 is a suction port, 4 is a suction passage, 5 is a lower case facing the floor surface 10, and is made of ABS or PP. A bumper 6 is sandwiched between the upper case and the lower case, and an elbow 8 is connected to the pipe 12 and can be rotated left and right. A coupling 9 is sandwiched between the upper case 2 and the lower case 6 and can be rotated up and down. Reference numeral 17 denotes a front wheel which is rotatably attached to the lower case 6. Reference numeral 18 denotes a rear wheel which is rotatably attached to the lower case 6. The front case 17 and the rear wheel 18 provide a clearance of about 1.0 mm to about 4 mm in the lower case 6 with respect to the floor surface 10, thereby enabling the floor brush 1 to move back and forth.
[0003]
FIG. 11 is an assembly drawing of the sealing material. The sealing material 20 is made of an elastic material such as soft vinyl chloride or rubber, and there is a type in which a protrusion 28 or a groove or an infinite number of conical protrusions are provided on the surface in the longitudinal direction.
Reference numeral 21 denotes a holder having a substantially U-shaped cross section for holding the sealing material 20, which is made of a material such as hard PVC or plastic such as ABS, and is formed by extrusion molding or injection molding. The sealing material 20 is inserted into the holder 21 and assembled. Some of them are formed or double-molded with the sealing material 20.
The sealing material 20 assembled in this way is mounted and held on the lower case 5 by the tab 11 of the lower case 5.
[0004]
Next, the operation will be described with reference to FIGS. The sealing material 20 assembled as shown in FIG. 11 is mounted and held on the lower case 5 by the ledge portion 11 of the lower case 5 and is provided so as to be substantially in contact with the floor surface 10. As described above, a space 30 is formed between the lower case 6 and the floor 10 by about 1.0 mm to about 4 mm with the sealant 20 behind the suction passage 4 with the sealant 20 as a boundary.
Further, the sealing material 20 is generally located in the vicinity of the suction port 3 and the suction passage 4 (lower in FIG. 9), and the purpose is to increase the degree of vacuum for suction, and dust does not go to the rear. There is a purpose to do so.
[0005]
In FIG. 10, if a hose (not shown) connected to the main body of the vacuum cleaner is connected to the pipe 12 and the switch is turned on, the dust on the floor is sucked together with air from the suction port 3, and the coupling 9, elbow 8 After passing through the pipe 12 and the hose (not shown), it is carried to the main body of the vacuum cleaner, and in the main body of the vacuum cleaner, dust is removed by a paper pack or the like (not shown), and only clean air is removed from the main body of the vacuum cleaner. Discharged.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In general, when cleaning the floor surface, the floor brush 1 sucks dust and the like while repeating the back-and-forth movement of the floor surface 10 (zigzag cleaning). When the suction force of the main body of the vacuum cleaner decreases when it accumulates, the suction force of the main body of the vacuum cleaner decreases when dust accumulates in the paper pack or the like. When the floor brush 1 is pulled, that is, when the floor brush 1 is pulled, the sealing material 20 is provided so as to be substantially in contact with the floor surface 10, so that the sealing material 20 dams up dust and brings the dust 32 to the front like a rake. There was a problem that it was pulled and left behind. Moreover, the bristle brush 35 which continued in 1 row as shown in FIG. 12 had the same problem.
[0007]
When the dust is not accumulated in the paper pack or the like, the suction force of the vacuum cleaner main body does not decrease, so the sealing material 20 is turned over to the suction port 3 side, and there is a problem when a gap is generated between the floor surface 10 and the sealing material 20. Not.
[0008]
Further, as shown in FIG. 13, the sealing material 20 is sandwiched between the lower case 6 and the carpet 25 in the carpet 25 having a long bristle foot, becomes horizontal, increases the contact area (friction force), increases the operating force, and increases the operating force of the floor brush 1. There was a problem that operation became heavy. In addition, in the case where protrusions, grooves, or numerous conical protrusions are provided on the longitudinal surface of the sealing material 20, there is a problem that the operation of the floor brush 1 becomes heavier.
Further, when the sealing material 20 is made of soft vinyl chloride or rubber, and the holder 21 is made of plastic such as hard vinyl chloride, it is not easy to disassemble for separate collection at the time of disposal.
[0009]
The present invention has been made in order to solve the above-described problems, and prevents the dust from being pulled and left behind when the floor brush is pulled, and the operation of the floor brush is performed by a sealing material. An object of the present invention is to provide a floor brush for an electric vacuum cleaner that can prevent an increase in weight and can be easily collected separately at the time of disposal.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A floor brush for a vacuum cleaner according to the present invention includes a horizontally long suction port portion formed on a bottom surface , a step portion having a recessed bottom surface along the longitudinal direction of the suction port portion, and the suction port of the step portion. A sealing material made of an elastic material provided along the portion side, and the stepped portion on the opposite side of the suction port portion with respect to the sealing material communicated with the inner surface in the longitudinal direction of the suction port portion. A plurality of communication grooves, and when the seal material is folded sideways during carpet cleaning, the folded seal material is stored in the stepped portion .
[0014]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiment 1 FIG.
FIG. 1 is a bottom view of a floor brush showing Embodiment 1 of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a BB sectional view of the floor brush showing Embodiment 1 of the present invention.
1 and 2, 1 is a floor brush, 2 is an upper case, 5 is a lower case provided facing the floor surface 10, and is made of ABS, PP, or the like. Reference numeral 3 denotes a central suction port provided in the lower case 5, and reference numerals 4 denote suction passages provided on both sides of the suction port 3. The suction port 3 and the suction passage 4 constitute a substantially horizontally long suction port portion 15. 5a is a bottom surface of the lower case, and 5b is a bottom surface portion of the bottom surface 5a along the longitudinal direction of the suction port portion 15.
[0015]
A bumper 6 is sandwiched between the upper case and the lower case, and an elbow 8 is connected to the pipe 12 and can be rotated left and right. A coupling 9 is sandwiched between the upper case 2 and the lower case 6 and can be rotated up and down. Reference numeral 17 denotes a front wheel which is rotatably attached to the lower case 6. Reference numeral 18 denotes a rear wheel which is rotatably attached to the lower case 6. The front case 17 and the rear wheel 18 provide a clearance of about 1.0 mm to about 4 mm in the lower case 6 with respect to the floor surface 10.
[0016]
Reference numeral 20 denotes a sealing material made of an elastic material provided on the bottom surface portion 5b along the longitudinal direction of the suction port portion 15, which is made of soft vinyl chloride or rubber or the like, and has projections, grooves, or innumerable conical projections on the longitudinal surface. Some of them are provided.
Reference numeral 31 denotes a communication groove provided so that the bottom surface 5 b opposite to the suction port 15 with respect to the sealing material 20 communicates with the inner surface in the longitudinal direction of the suction port 15.
That is, as shown in FIG. 2, the communication groove 31 includes a space surrounded by the suction passage 4, the floor surface 10, and the sealing material 20 of the lower case 5, and the bottom surface 5 b and the sealing material of the floor surface 10, the lower case 5. It communicates with a space 30 surrounded by 20.
[0017]
Next, the operation will be described with reference to FIG. If a hose (not shown) connected to the main body of the vacuum cleaner is connected to the pipe 12 and the switch is turned on, the dust on the floor surface 10 is sucked together with air from the suction passage 4 and the suction port 3 of the floor brush 1. , The pipe 9 and the elbow 8 through the pipe 12 and the hose are transported to the main body of the vacuum cleaner, and the dust is removed by a paper pack or the like (not shown) in the main body of the vacuum cleaner, and only clean air is removed from the main body of the vacuum cleaner. It is discharged outside.
At this time, since the sealing material 20 is provided so as to be substantially in contact with the floor surface 10, the degree of vacuum for suction is increased and dust is prevented from going backward.
[0018]
Further, when dust is sucked in while the floor brush 1 is moved back and forth on the floor surface 10 (zigzag cleaning), if the dust accumulates in the paper pack or the like, the suction force of the main body of the vacuum cleaner decreases, and the sealing material Since 20 is in contact with the floor surface 10 substantially perpendicularly, when the floor brush 1 is pulled, the sealing material 20 dams up the dust, and the dust is pulled to the front like a rake and is likely to be left behind. The dust and the like blocked by the communication groove 31 flows from the communication port 31 to the suction passage 4 and is sucked into the suction port 3 as indicated by the flow of the arrow.
[0019]
As described above, when the floor brush 1 is pulled, it is possible to prevent the dust from being pulled forward and left behind.
Further, if a screwdriver or the like is inserted into the continuous pain groove 31, the holder 21 and the sealing material 20 can be easily removed from the claw portion 11.
[0020]
In the present embodiment, the sealing material 20 is described as being made of an elastic material. However, the bristle brush that is continuous in one row shown in FIG. 12 may be used, and similar effects can be obtained.
[0021]
Embodiment 2. FIG.
FIG. 3 is a bottom view of the floor brush showing the second embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 4 is a CC sectional view of the floor brush showing the second embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 5 is a floor showing the second embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 6 is a perspective view of the sealing material. 3, 4, and 5, the same parts as those in FIGS. Reference numeral 32 denotes a stepped portion in which the bottom surface 5 b along the longitudinal direction of the suction port portion 15 is recessed, and the sealing material 20 is provided along the suction port portion 15 side of the stepped portion 32. As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the length of the step portion 32 is substantially the same as that of the sealing material 20, and the depth h from the bottom surface 5 a of the step portion 32 is h ≧ t (t is the thickness of the sealing material 20. ), The length L in the front-rear direction of the stepped portion 32 is L ≧ H (H is the distance to the floor surface of the sealing material 20).
[0022]
In FIG. 6, reference numeral 29 denotes a communication hole provided in the sealing material 20.
[0023]
In this configuration, when the carpet 25 is cleaned, even when the floor brush 1 is pushed forward, the sealing material 20 is caught between the long rug 25 and the lower case 6 and is bent. The length of the step portion 32 is substantially the same as that of the sealing material 20, the depth h of the step portion 32 is deeper than the thickness t of the sealing material 20, and the length L in the front-rear direction of the step portion 32 is the sealing material 20. Since the distance H is longer than the distance H to the floor surface, the sealing material 20 is accommodated in the step portion 32.
[0024]
Further, when dust or the like is sucked while the floor brush 1 is repeatedly moved back and forth on the floor surface 10, the suction force is reduced. Therefore, when the floor brush 1 is pulled, the sealing material 20 dams the dust and looks like a rake. Although the dust is pulled toward the front and is likely to be left behind, the dust or the like blocked by the communication hole 29 flows into the suction passage 4 and is sucked into the suction port 3. At this time, the air sucked into the communication hole 29 by the step portion 32 becomes from below, and the dust can be sucked without significantly reducing the sealing performance.
Further, the communication hole 29 reduces the bending force of the base portion of the sealing material 20 and reduces the repulsive force against the carpet.
[0025]
As described above, when the carpet 25 is cleaned, the operation of the floor brush can be prevented from becoming heavy due to friction with the sealing material 20, and when the floor brush 1 is pulled, dust is pulled forward. It can be prevented from leaving behind.
[0026]
Embodiment 3 FIG.
FIG. 7 is a bottom view of the floor brush showing the third embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 8 is a DD sectional view of the floor brush showing the third embodiment of the present invention.
7 and 8, the same parts as those in FIGS. 1 and 2 of the second embodiment and FIG. 4 of the second embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the description thereof is omitted.
In the present embodiment, the structure shown in the second embodiment is used, and the communication hole 29 is not provided in the seal 20, and the step portion 32 on the opposite side of the suction port portion 15 with respect to the seal member 20 is the suction port portion 15. Two communication grooves 31 are provided so as to communicate with the inner surface in the longitudinal direction. That is, as shown in FIG. 8, the communication groove 31 includes a space surrounded by the suction passage 4, the floor surface 10, and the sealing material 20 of the lower case 5, and a step 32 and the sealing material of the floor surface 10, the lower case 5. It communicates with a space 30 surrounded by 20.
[0027]
In this configuration, when the floor brush 1 is pulled, the sealing material 20 dams up the dust, and the dust is likely to be left behind like a rake, but the communication groove 31 is provided in the step portion 32. As a result, the dammed dust or the like once passes through the step portion 32 toward the communication groove 31 and then flows from the communication groove 31 into the suction passage 4 and is sucked into the suction port 3 as indicated by the flow of the arrow. At this time, the step 32 also serves as a suction passage.
[0028]
Further, when the carpet 25 is cleaned, even when the flooring brush 1 is pushed forward, the sealing material 20 is sandwiched between the long carpet 25 and the lower case 6 so that the sealing material 20 is bent. 20 is housed in the step 32.
[0029]
As described above, dust can be collected in the communication groove 31 more effectively, and when the floor brush 1 is pulled, it is more efficiently prevented that the dust is pulled forward and left behind. it can.
Further, when the carpet 25 is cleaned, the operation of the floor brush can be prevented from becoming heavy due to friction with the sealing material 20.
[0030]
In the present embodiment, the sealing material 20 is described as being made of an elastic material. However, the same effect can be obtained with a bristle brush that is continuous in one row.
[0031]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the horizontally long suction port portion formed on the bottom surface , the step portion in which the bottom surface along the longitudinal direction of the suction port portion is recessed, and the suction port portion of the step portion. a seal member made of an elastic material provided along the side, a plurality of the step portions of the opposite side of the inlet portion is allowed to communicate with the longitudinal direction of the inner surface of the inlet portion with respect to the sealing member comprising of a communication groove, and when the sealing member during carpet cleaning were folded to the side, because the sealing material which is bent is to be housed in the step portion, the Chiri挨more effectively It can be collected in the communication groove, and when the floor brush is pulled, the dust can be prevented from being pulled and left behind. Moreover, it can prevent that the operation | movement of a floor brush becomes heavy with a sealing material.
