Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
In the present invention, ink having shear thinning viscosity is stored in an ink storage cylinder, and a grease-like ink follower is stored in the rear part of the ink, and a tail plug provided with a ball-point pen tip and a ventilation means at the rear end is fitted in the front end hole. Related to ballpoint refills.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Tail plugs that store high-viscosity oil-based inks for ballpoint pens directly in the ink storage cylinder, and are fitted with a grease-like ink follower as an ink backflow preventer at the rear of the ink, and further have ventilation means at the rear end of the ink storage cylinder A ballpoint pen refill with a ballpoint pen tip fitted in the tip hole of the ink storage cylinder is a kind of ballpoint pen refill with a large inner diameter of the ink storage cylinder, and the brush end is taken in and out of the opening of the shaft cylinder tip. It is also well known as a knock-type ballpoint pen refill mounted in a shaft cylinder provided with a retracting mechanism.
[0003]
In the above-mentioned type of ballpoint pen refills, Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 6-53185 has a high viscosity in the same manner as the present invention, in which the ink for ballpoint pens used is a low viscosity aqueous ink. Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 6-83378 is disclosed for an ink having shear thinning viscosity in which the viscosity is reduced by the rotation of the ball at the time of writing and the ink flows out. Good writing quality, functionality and economy Various improvements in pursuit of have been added.
[0004]
In addition, the ink storage cylinder used in the present invention includes a tip member for holding a chip and an ink storage member for storing ink as separate bodies, which are integrated into an ink storage cylinder. As a means for obtaining an ink containing cylinder having a large volume of ink containing part in a case where a special work is made around the chip fitting part, for example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 6-83379, or a simple and inexpensive method, a conventional example is used. This is a technique that is generally used depending on the application, such as the refill shown in FIG.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
A ballpoint pen containing ink with shear thinning viscosity maintains a high viscosity in a static state, but when the ball rotates, a slipping action occurs on the contact surface with the ball, and the viscosity decreases instantaneously and flows. Assuming that the impact is applied to the refill, the refill shown in FIG. 5 shown in the conventional example causes a slipping action between the ink container and the ink contact surface, and the weight of the ink is reduced. However, when the tip is upward, the ink follower is pressed against the ink follower, and when the tip is downward, the ball is pressed as an impact force. In the case of an ink follower, it can be compensated by physical properties such as its consistency and wettability with the inner wall surface of the ink containing cylinder, but those that support the impact load on the ball are held by caulking of the tip edge of the chip that holds the ball. Only holding power. The tip tip edge becomes thinner as the ball diameter becomes smaller, and the exposed amount of the ball becomes smaller, so that the tip edge can easily come into contact with the paper surface during writing. Accordingly, when the tip holding edge wears and the ball holding force decreases and cannot be supported, the ball falls off. The present invention is intended to improve the ballpoint pen refill that can be used for a cap-type ballpoint pen mainly for a knock-type ballpoint pen application in which the tip is carried down in a state where the tip is carried away in a downward direction. .
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems and Embodiments]
The present invention has been made in view of such a state, and includes a small-diameter portion provided with a tip insertion hole to which a ballpoint pen tip is attached, and a coil spring receiving portion that repels a refill in the direction of the rear end portion of the shaft cylinder as necessary. A tip member that forms a tip portion by providing a middle diameter portion that is one step larger than the small diameter portion that forms a tip portion, or a tip member that has only a small diameter portion without a medium diameter portion as a tip portion is separated from the ink containing member. A tail plug in which the ink containing cylinder is provided with ink having shear thinning viscosity and a grease-like ink follower at the rear of the ink, a ball-point pen tip is provided at the tip insertion hole, and a ventilation means is provided at the rear end. Assuming a ballpoint pen refill that is configured to fit, an abutting hook portion that contacts the tip surface of the ink containing member is provided on the outer periphery of the tip member of the refill containing cylinder, and the rear portion of the abutting hook portion is the ink containing member Formed in the mating part with In addition, the fitting portion has a lateral groove formed in the radial direction leading to the chip fitting hole, and a longitudinal groove extending in the axial direction serving as an ink flow path in communication with the lateral groove and the rear end surface facing the ink. By drilling in the outer periphery, it is a means for solving the problem of preventing the ball from falling off due to impact.
[0007]
With this configuration, even if an impact is applied and the ink behaves in the downward state of the chip, the ink pressure in the ink storage cylinder is received at the rear end surface of the front member, so the impact of the entire amount of ink on the ball Therefore, the pressure applied to the ball is kept at a very low pressure and the ball can be prevented from falling off due to impact. Therefore, the worry that the ink would flow out due to the drop of the ball and soil the clothes was eliminated, and a ballpoint refill with good writing quality suitable for the knock type in which the chip was carried downward could be obtained.
[0008]
However, since the refill according to the above embodiment is provided with a ventilation means for the outside air in the tail plug fixed to the rear part, the batting type water-based ballpoint pen shown in FIG. 6 provided with the ventilation means on the tip side of the refill. When the refill is stored in the shaft cylinder of the cap-type ballpoint pen, the contact between the abutment portion of the tip member and the stepped portion in the shaft cylinder hinders the outside air flow in the shaft cylinder, and the amount of ink used is reduced. There was a problem that it was impossible to write because the outside air was not replenished in the refill. In view of this, the present invention further provides outside air introduced from the tip of the shaft cylinder to the air hole of the tail plug by a simple means of providing a cut groove extending in the axial direction in the abutting flange portion of the tip member of the ink containing cylinder. This leads to a continuity, which has resulted in a well-written ballpoint pen refill that can be safely used for both knock and cap types.
[0009]
【Example】
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings showing examples. In the description of each drawing showing the embodiment, members and parts used for the same purpose will be described using the same reference numerals.
[0010]
FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of a ballpoint pen refill according to the present invention suitable for a knock type in which a chip is carried downward, and an ink containing cylinder C is formed by joining a front member 2 and an ink containing member 3 to each other. Is stored with ink 4 having shear thinning viscosity, a backflow preventing agent grease-like ink follower 5 is loaded at the rear of the ink, the ball-point pen tip 1 is at the tip insertion hole 2a, and the vent is at the rear end. The tail plug 6 provided with is fitted and configured.
[0011]
The ink containing cylinder C is one step from the small diameter part 2b having a small diameter part 2b having a chip fitting hole 2a and a receiving part 2c of a coil spring (not shown) that repels a refill in the direction of the rear end of the axial cylinder as necessary. An intermediate diameter portion 2d having a large diameter is provided to form a tip portion, and an abutting flange portion 2e that abuts on the front end surface 3a of the ink containing member 3 is provided on the outer periphery of the intermediate diameter portion, and a rear portion from the abutting flange portion. Is formed in a fitting portion 2f with the ink containing member, and further, a transverse groove 2g formed in the fitting portion at a radial direction leading to the tip insertion hole, and the transverse groove and the ink containing member are stored in the fitting portion 2f. Only the tip member 2 formed by perforating the outer periphery of the longitudinal groove 2h that communicates with the rear end surface 2j facing the ink 4 and extends in the axial direction as the ink flow path, or only the small diameter portion 2b without the intermediate diameter portion 2d. The abutment part 2e is provided on the outer periphery of the small-diameter part in the same manner as the above-mentioned front part member, and the abutment part Ri rear ink accommodating member fitting portion 2f formed appearance shape different previous section member 2 (see FIG. 2) is, the fitting portion 2f in an ink reservoir member 3 is press-fitted abutting the flange portion 2e The ink containing member is integrally formed in contact with the front end surface 3a.
[0012]
The tip member 2 is molded from a plastic material, but the material of the ink containing member 3 has the advantage that it can be set according to the application and purpose. A metal material is good when it is desired to reduce the diameter without changing the amount of ink stored, and a resin material may be set when it is desired to visually check the remaining amount of the ink 4 or to process it at a low cost. Further, if the ink containing member is pipe-shaped and both ends have the same dimensions, there is no directionality during assembly, and a long product can be cut and used, which is effective in industrial production.
[0013]
FIG. 3 is an enlarged vertical cross-sectional view of the tip portion showing another embodiment of the present invention, which contains a batting type water-based ballpoint pen refill (see FIG. 6) provided with ventilation means for the outside air on the tip portion side. 1 shows a structure added to the above-mentioned tip member 2 in order to be able to store the above-mentioned refill of the present invention in a cap-type ballpoint pen (not shown). That is, it shows a structure in which a notch groove 2k extending in the axial direction is provided in the abutting flange portion 2e provided on the outer periphery of the tip member 2 in which the tip portion is formed by the small diameter portion 2b and the medium diameter portion 2d. In addition, the abutment portion obstructs the outside air flow in the shaft cylinder (not shown), and tries to prevent the problem that the refill is not replenished with air according to the amount of ink used and cannot be written. Is. Therefore, the notch groove must be formed with a sufficient length in the axial direction, and the outside air introduced from the tip end portion of the shaft tube must be conducted to the air hole of the refill tail plug 6 by the notch groove. In addition, there is a problem in providing the notch groove 2k so as to penetrate the abutting flange portion 2e. This is because if the ink 4 oozes out from the fitting portion 2f of the ink containing member 3 and the tip member 2 , the ink oozes out if there is contact between the shaft cylinder and the middle diameter portion 2d of the tip member. Therefore, it is preferable that the leading end surface 3a of the ink containing member 3 and the abutting flange portion 2e of the leading end member 2 are in full contact with each other.
[0014]
4 shows the flow path of the ink 4 in the tip member 2 in the AA cross-sectional view of FIG. 2, but the ink 4 having shear thinning viscosity stored in the ink containing cylinder C is the tip part. It passes through the longitudinal groove 2h drilled in the outer periphery of the fitting portion 2f of the member, and flows to the chip fitting hole 2a through the lateral groove 2g. Ink other than intruding into the longitudinal groove faces the rear end face 2j of the front member 2 , so that the ink pressure is received at the rear end face 2j even when an impact is applied to the refill when the tip 1 is in the downward state. Because it is configured, the pressure including the impact of the entire amount of ink is not applied to the ball, the pressure applied to the ball is kept at a very low pressure, and the ball prevents the ball from breaking due to the impact and falling off. The

【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, the refill used for the knock type ballpoint pen carried with the tip facing downward can obtain a clear handwriting with the same smooth writing feel as a conventional water-based ballpoint pen, and has a statically high viscosity. It has been improved so that it can be used for ballpoint pen ink having shear thinning viscosity that decreases in viscosity due to rotation of the ball at the time of writing, and a refill compatible with the exterior already in use with a cap-type ballpoint pen. Is. This not only has the effect of obtaining a knock type ballpoint pen with good writing quality, but also has been made common to cap type ballpoint pens. The annoyance that would require a certain amount of response is also greatly avoided.
