本発明は、番組の購入が可能なデジタル放送受信装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、既に視聴・録画した番組など不要な番組の視聴・録画を避ける技術が様々開発されている。例えば、特許文献１によると、テレビ番組情報と録画予約スケジュールより録画履歴を作成する一方、録画予約する番組の選択を受け付け、選択された番組と録画予約スケジュールとを比較照合して既に予約済みの場合はこの旨が表示される。また、例えば特許文献２によると、シーンチェンジ時の１フレーム画像データを入力された映像信号から抽出して重複録画検出用の画像データとして記録し、録画済みの映像から同様に抽出した画像データと比較して同一画像かどうか判定する。同一画像であれば重複録画と判定して警告表示画面を提示する。

一方、近年デジタル衛星放送などにおいて、有料番組の個別購入（ペイ・パー・ビュー、ＰＰＶ）処理を行う受信装置が普及している。このような受信装置においても、例えば特許文献３に記載のようにＰＰＶ番組の購入履歴を記録しておけば、購入履歴を一覧表示したり購入処理が済んでいるか否かを判断したりすることができる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところが、特許文献１に記載の技術では、テレビ番組情報と録画予約スケジュールより録画履歴を作成するため、重複録画を避けるには受信日、受信開始時刻、受信終了時刻、受信チャンネルなどを指定して録画予約を正確に行う必要があり煩雑である。また、特許文献２に記載の技術では、検出用画像を記録しなければ重複録画の判定ができず不便である。さらに、特許文献３に記載の技術では購入履歴に応じて購入処理をしたか否かを判断するため、ある利用者が視聴購入（番組視聴のみが可能）はしたものの実際にはその利用者は視聴せず別の利用者が視聴した場合や、視聴購入はしたが録画購入（番組録画が可能）はしなかった場合などに同じ番組を再び視聴購入しあるいは録画購入するといったニーズに対応することが困難である。本発明は、番組の視聴購入・録画購入を行う利用者の多様なニーズに応じて必要な番組を容易に購入できるデジタル放送受信装置を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
請求項１記載の発明は、デジタル放送受信装置の利用者の登録を受け付ける利用者登録手段と、購入した番組を視聴した旨及び／又は購入した番組を録画した旨の入力と、前記登録された利用者の選択入力とを受け付ける入力手段と、前記番組を特定する情報と、前記入力の内容を示す情報と、前記選択された利用者と、前記番組に関する番組配列情報と、前記番組を視聴した旨及び／又は購入した番組を録画した旨の入力が行われた時刻である入力時刻と、録画購入された番組の放送方式とを対応づけた情報である履歴情報を記憶する履歴情報記憶手段と、購入すべき番組の選択と、前記登録された利用者の選択入力とを受け付ける購入番組選択手段と、視聴購入又は録画購入であるかを示す情報と、番組の放送方式と、視聴済みか否かを示す情報と、を含む購入条件を、購入可であるか又は購入不可であるかを示す判断情報と対応づけた情報である購入条件情報を、利用者別に設定する購入条件設定手段と、購入条件設定手段により設定された購入条件情報を記憶する購入条件情報記憶手段と、購入番組選択手段により選択された番組の購入処理を実行するか否かを決定する購入決定手段と、前記決定に基づいて前記購入処理を実行させる購入手段と、を備え、購入条件決定手段は、履歴情報記憶手段により記憶された履歴情報のうち、購入番組選択手段により選択された利用者に対応する履歴情報を参照することにより、購入番組選択手段により選択された番組が購入済みでない場合又は購入番組選択手段により選択された利用者に対応する購入条件情報を参照することにより、購入番組選択手段により選択された番組に対応する判断情報が購入可である場合に、購入番組選択手段により選択された番組の購入処理を実行すると決定するとともに、履歴情報記憶手段により記憶された履歴情報のうち、購入番組選択手段により選択された利用者に対応する履歴情報を参照することにより、購入番組選択手段により選択された番組が購入済みであり且つ購入番組選択手段により選択された利用者に対応する購入条件情報を参照することにより、購入番組選択手段により選択された番組に対応する判断情報が購入不可である場合に、購入番組選択手段により選択された番組の購入処理を実行しないと決定することを特徴とするデジタル放送受信装置である。

請求項２記載の発明は、購入した番組を視聴した旨及び／又は購入した番組を録画した旨の入力を受け付ける入力手段と、前記番組を特定する情報と前記入力の内容を示す情報とを対応づけた情報である履歴情報を記憶する履歴情報記憶手段と、購入すべき番組の選択を受け付ける購入番組選択手段と、視聴購入又は録画購入であるかを示す情報と、番組の放送方式と、視聴済みか否かを示す情報と、を含む購入条件を、購入可であるか又は購入不可であるかを示す判断情報と対応づけた情報である購入条件情報を設定する購入条件設定手段と、購入条件設定手段により設定された購入条件情報を記憶する購入条件情報記憶手段と、購入番組選択手段により選択された前記番組の購入処理を実行するか否かを決定する購入決定手段と、前記決定に基づいて前記購入処理を実行させる購入手段と、を備え、購入条件決定手段は、履歴情報記憶手段により記憶された履歴情報を参照することにより、購入番組選択手段により選択された番組が購入済みでない場合又は購入条件情報を参照することにより、購入番組選択手段により選択された番組に対応する判断情報が購入可である場合に、購入番組選択手段により選択された番組の購入処理を実行すると決定するとともに、履歴情報記憶手段により記憶された履歴情報を参照することにより、購入番組選択手段により選択された番組が購入済みであり且つ購入条件情報を参照することにより、購入番組選択手段により選択された番組に対応する判断情報が購入不可である場合に、購入番組選択手段により選択された番組の購入処理を実行しないと決定することを特徴とするデジタル放送受信装置である。

この発明によると、購入した番組を視聴・録画した旨を入力できる。番組を視聴した旨が入力されると、購入した番組を特定する情報（例えばＰＰＶの購入履歴）にこの入力があったことを示す情報が対応づけられて履歴情報として記憶される。また、視聴購入又は録画購入であるかを示す情報と、視聴済みか否かを示す情報と、を含む購入条件を、購入可であるか又は購入不可であるかを示す判断情報と対応づけた情報である購入条件情報を設定できる。そして、履歴情報に基づいて、選択された番組が購入済みでない場合又は購入条件情報に基づいて、選択された番組に対応する判断情報が購入可である場合に、選択された番組の購入処理を実行すると決定される。また、履歴情報に基づいて、選択された番組が購入済みであり且つ購入条件情報に基づいて、選択された番組に対応する判断情報が購入不可である場合に、選択された番組の購入処理を実行しないと決定される。ここで購入とは、視聴購入、即ち視聴のみが可能な番組の購入と、録画購入、即ち録画が可能な番組の購入を含む。この決定に基づき購入処理が実行される。購入処理とは、有料番組を購入するために必要な処理であり、例えばＰＰＶの購入記録を契約者のＩＣカードに記録し、あるいは所定期間ごとに電話回線を通じてこの購入記録を放送局のセンターに送信することである。
したがって、ユーザは、視聴購入或いは録画購入であるかを示す情報と、番組の放送方式と、視聴済みか否かを示す情報と、を含む購入条件情報を自由に設定することができるとともに、購入する番組を選択すると、購入済みでない番組及びユーザの設定した購入条件情報に該当して判断情報が購入可である番組が自動的に購入され、視聴済みであり且つ購入条件情報に該当して判断情報が購入不可である番組が自動的に購入されないこととなるため、購入処理がユーザのニーズを十分に反映して自動的に実行されることとなる。

請求項３記載の発明は、デジタル放送受信装置の利用者の登録を受け付ける利用者登録手段をさらに備え、前記入力手段は前記登録された利用者の選択入力をさらに受け付け、前記履歴情報記憶手段は前記選択された利用者をさらに対応づけて前記履歴情報に記憶し、前記購入番組選択手段は前記登録された利用者の選択入力をさらに受け付け、前記購入決定手段は、前記購入番組選択手段により選択された利用者にさら応じて前記選択された番組の購入処理を実行するか否かを決定することを特徴とする請求項２記載のデジタル放送受信装置である。

この発明によると、利用者を登録できる。そして、購入した番組を視聴した旨及び／又は購入した番組を録画した旨を入力する際、登録された利用者もあわせて選択できる。履歴情報には番組を視聴・録画した旨の有無に加えて選択された利用者（視聴者）が記憶される。即ち、履歴情報はどの利用者がどの番組を視聴あるいは録画したかを示すことができる。一方、購入すべき番組を選択した利用者（購入者）も選択でき、どの利用者がどの番組を購入したかを示すことができる。この履歴情報及び購入者に基づき、購入処理を行うか否かが決定される。よって、複数の利用者が利用するデジタル放送受信装置の購入処理が各利用者のニーズを十分に反映して自動的に実行されることとなる。

請求項４記載の発明は、前記履歴情報記憶手段は前記購入した番組に関する番組配列情報をさらに対応づけて前記履歴情報に記憶することを特徴とする請求項２記載のデジタル放送受信装置である。

この発明によると、履歴情報に含まれる番組配列情報（ＳＩ）にさらに応じて購入処理が実行されるか否かが決定される。例えば、ＳＩに含まれるＥＩＴ（ＥｖｅｎｔＩｎｆｏｒｍａｔｉｏｎＴａｂｌｅ）に番組の名称が含まれている場合、以前購入した番組の名称が利用者の選択した番組の名称と一致していれば購入処理を行わないように決定すれば、番組の重複購入を避けることが可能である。

【発明の実施の形態】
＜第１実施形態＞
（１）概略構成
図１は、本発明の第１実施形態に係るデジタル放送受信装置１のブロック構成図である。デジタル放送受信装置１は、チューナ１１、復調部及び誤り訂正部（ＦＥＣ）１２、デスクランブラ１３、デマルチプレクサ（ＤＥＭＵＸ）１４、音声デコーダ１５、映像デコーダ１６、信号変換回路１７、制御部１８、及び番組情報復調部１９を備えている。チューナ１１は、アンテナ１０から放送局（図示せず）の送出した放送信号を受信する。復調部及びＦＥＣ１２は、受信した信号の復調及び誤りの訂正処理を行う。ＤＥＭＵＸ１４は、音声データや映像データ及び番組情報等が多重化されている放送信号から各データを分離抽出する。デスクランブラ１３は、復調された放送信号に付加されている不正視聴防止用のスクランブル信号を解除する。音声デコーダ１５は、デジタル圧縮された音声データをアナログ信号にデコードし、ＤＶＤレコーダ、ハードディスクビデオレコーダ、ＶＣＲ等の記録再生装置や各種オーディオ機器に出力する。映像デコーダ１６は、デジタル圧縮された映像データを展開してＲＧＢ信号にデコードする。信号変換回路１７は、ＲＧＢ信号を例えばコンポジットビデオ信号にダウンコンバートし、記録再生装置やテレビ受像機等に出力する。制御部１８は、リモコン等の操作部３からのチャンネル選局操作に基づき、チューナ１１にチャンネルの周波数を設定する。制御部１８は、マイコンなどにより構成可能である。番組情報復調部１９は、ＤＥＭＵＸ１４により分離された番組情報を復調する。なお、ここに示すデジタル放送受信装置１の構成は一例であり、その他の機能、例えばＤＥＭＵＸ１４から分離された番組情報から電子番組案内（ＥＰＧ）データを作成する機能などを有していてもよい。

デジタル放送受信装置１は購入部４をさらに備えており、購入部４はデータ送信部４１及び購入履歴記憶部４２を含む。購入履歴記憶部４２は、ある放送局と番組視聴契約を結んだ契約者に配布されるＩＣカードなどで構成され、放送局側でのペイ・パー・ビュー（ＰＰＶ）処理に必要なデータである第１購入履歴を記憶する。データ送信部４１は、電話回線２を通じて購入履歴記憶部４２に記憶された第１購入履歴を放送局のセンターに送信する。図２は第１購入履歴の一例である。第１購入履歴は、番組の視聴購入（視聴のみ可能な番組の購入）又は録画購入（録画が可能な番組の購入）を行った日時である「購入日時」、視聴購入又は録画購入のいずれで番組を購入したかをそれぞれ「視」又は「録」で示す「視／録」、及び購入した番組の識別子である「番組ＩＤ」を含む。第１購入履歴は、番組の購入処理（後述の図１０のＳ１４を参照）が完了した時点で管理ＤＢ３１に記憶されるものとする。

再び図１を参照すると、デジタル放送受信装置１は購入管理部３をさらに備えており、購入管理部３は管理ＤＢ３１及びＯＳＤ回路３２を含む。購入管理部３は制御部１８と接続されており、制御部１８による制御を受け付ける。ＯＳＤ回路３２は、制御部１８の制御に応じて所定の情報、例えば後述の図６〜９に示すような画面表示を行うための映像信号を信号変換回路１７に出力する。管理ＤＢ３１は図３〜５にそれぞれ例示するデータを記憶する。

（２）管理ＤＢの詳細構成
図３は、管理ＤＢ３１に記憶されるユーザ情報の一例である。ユーザ情報は、デジタル放送受信装置１を利用する１又は複数のユーザを示し、ユーザの識別子である「ユーザＩＤ」とユーザの名前を示す「ユーザ名」とを含む。このユーザ情報は、図６のユーザ登録画面から操作部３などの操作により入力されて管理ＤＢ３１に登録される。ここでは、４人のユーザ、父、母、兄、妹が登録されている。以下、ユーザ情報に登録されたユーザを単にユーザという。

図４は、管理ＤＢ３１に記憶される第２購入履歴の一例である。第２購入履歴は、後述の購入管理処理（図１０）で使用されるデータであり、番組の視聴購入又は録画購入を行った日時である「購入日時」、視聴購入又は録画購入のいずれで番組を購入したかをそれぞれ「視」又は「録」で示す「視／録」、購入した番組の放送方式がデジタルスタンダード放送（ＳＤ）あるいはデジタルハイビジョン放送（ＨＤ）であることを示す「ＳＤ／ＨＤ」、購入した番組の識別子である「番組ＩＤ」、購入した番組の名称を示す「名称」、後述する図８の視聴者入力画面での入力の有無をそれぞれ「○」、「×」で示す「視聴」、及び視聴者入力画面で選択されたユーザを示す「視聴者」を含む。第２購入履歴のうち、「購入日時」、「視／録」、「番組ＩＤ」は第１購入履歴と同様の内容である。「ＳＤ／ＨＤ」及び「名称」は、ＤＥＭＵＸ１４から分離抽出されて番組情報復調部１９により復調された番組配列情報（ＳＩ）から番組ＩＤをキーに抽出されて記憶される。第２購入履歴の「購入日時」、「視／録」、「ＳＤ／ＨＤ」、「番組ＩＤ」及び「名称」は、第１購入履歴の記憶と同期して管理ＤＢ３１に記憶される。

一方、「視聴」及び「視聴者」に記憶すべきデータは、図８の視聴者入力画面から入力される。視聴者入力画面は、ある番組の放映終了時あるいは図示しないＤＶＤレコーダなどの記録再生装置による録画番組の再生終了時など任意に設定されたタイミングで表示され、番組を視聴したユーザをドロップダウンリストから選択することができる。図８の視聴者入力画面でドロップダウンリストからユーザが選択されて「ＯＫ」ボタンが押下された場合、「視聴」には「○」が、「視聴者」にはドロップダウンリストで選択されたユーザの名前が記憶される。この図では、一例として番組の名称が「ＡＢＣ」の番組を視聴したユーザとして「父」を選択している。この状態で「ＯＫ」ボタンが押下されると、図４に示すような第２購入履歴が記憶される。「ＯＫ」ボタンが所定時間内（例えば１分間）に押下されなかった場合あるいは「キャンセル」ボタンが押下された場合、「視聴」には「×」が記憶され「視聴者」には何も記憶されないようにしてもよい。なお、不必要な第２購入履歴が過剰に記憶されるのを防ぐため、「購入日時」が所定時点以前の第２購入履歴は消去するようにしてもよい。あるいは、第２購入履歴が所定数以上記憶された場合、「購入日時」の古いものから所定数消去するようにしてもよい。

図５は、管理ＤＢ３１に記憶される購入条件情報の一例である。この購入条件情報は、ユーザごとに作成可能であり、後述する購入管理処理（図１０）で使用される。購入条件情報は、番組の購入を行ったユーザを示す「ユーザ」、過去に視聴購入又は録画購入のいずれで番組を購入したかをそれぞれ「視」又は「録」で示す「視／録」、購入した番組の放送方式がデジタルスタンダード放送（ＳＤ）あるいはデジタルハイビジョン放送（ＨＤ）であることを示す「ＳＤ／ＨＤ」、及び図８の視聴者入力画面での入力の有無をそれぞれ「○」又は「×」で示す「視聴」からなる購入条件を含む。購入条件情報はさらに、購入条件に該当する番組を購入するか否かの判断（図１０のＳ１３）をそれぞれ「ＯＫ」又は「ＮＧ」で指定する「判断」を含む。即ち、「判断」が「ＯＫ」である購入条件に該当する番組は購入されるが、「判断」が「ＮＧ」である購入条件に該当する番組は購入されない。図５では、ユーザ「父」の購入条件情報だけが示されているが、他のユーザ「母」、「兄」、「妹」の購入条件情報も同様に設定・記憶できるものとする。そして、購入条件情報は、図７に示すような購入条件設定画面で各ユーザが操作部３などの操作により自由に入力・更新・削除できるものとする。

（２）購入管理処理
図１０は、制御部１８が行う購入管理処理の流れを示すフローチャートである。この処理では、ユーザが購入しようとする番組が以前に購入されていないか、あるいは購入されていても購入条件に合致している場合はその番組を購入する。以下、図１０に基づき処理の流れを説明する。この処理は、ユーザから番組の購入を行う要求がされた場合（例えば操作部３の所定操作）に開始する。

ステップ（以下、Ｓ）１１では、図９に示す購入画面を表示する。購入画面では、番組を購入するユーザ（以下、購入者）及び購入すべき番組を選択できる。図９では、一例として購入者「父」が選択され、番組の名称が「ＡＢＣ」である番組が購入すべき番組として選択されている。購入画面で購入者及び番組が選択されて「ＯＫ」ボタンが押下された場合はＳ１２へ移行し、選択されない場合は選択があるまで待機する。また、購入画面で「キャンセル」ボタンが押下された場合はこの処理は終了する。なお、購入画面で表示する番組の名称は、ＤＥＭＵＸ１４から抽出される番組配列情報（ＳＩ）に含まれるＥＩＴ（ＥｖｅｎｔＩｎｆｏｒｍａｔｉｏｎＴａｂｌｅ）から取得すればよい。

Ｓ１２では、管理ＤＢ３１に記憶される第２購入履歴（図４）から、購入画面で指定された番組の名称を「名称」に含みかつ図９の購入画面で選択された購入者を「視聴者」に含むものを検索する。そして、この検索条件に該当する第２購入履歴が存在するか否かを判断する。存在する場合はＳ１３へ移行し、存在しない場合はＳ１４へ移行する。

Ｓ１３では、Ｓ１２の検索条件に該当する第２購入履歴に含まれる「視／録」、「ＳＤ／ＨＤ」及び「視聴」と同一の「視／録」、「ＳＤ／ＨＤ」及び「視聴」を含む購入者の設定した購入条件（図５）が管理ＤＢ３１に存在するか否かを判断する。存在する場合は、さらにこの購入条件に対応する「判断」が「ＯＫ」であるか否かを判断する。「判断」が「ＯＫ」の場合、Ｓ１４へ移行する。同一の「視／録」、「ＳＤ／ＨＤ」及び「視聴」を含む購入者の設定した購入条件が存在しないか、あるいは存在しても「判断」が「ＮＧ」の場合はＳ１６へ移行し、選択された番組を購入しなかった旨をＯＳＤ回路３２により画面に表示する。

Ｓ１４では、購入画面で選択された番組を購入する処理、例えば第１購入履歴などのＰＰＶの購入記録を購入履歴記憶部４２に記録し、あるいはデータ送信部４１から電話回線２を通じて所定期間ごとにこの購入記録を図示しない放送局のセンターに送信する処理など、有料番組を購入するために必要な処理を行う。

Ｓ１５では、Ｓ１４で購入の処理がされた番組に対応する「購入日時」、「視／録」、「ＳＤ／ＨＤ」、「番組ＩＤ」及び「名称」がデジタル放送受信装置１内蔵のタイマー（図示せず）や番組配列情報（ＳＩ）から取得され、管理ＤＢ３１に第２購入履歴として記憶される。なお上述のように第２購入履歴の「視聴」及び「視聴者」は、図８の視聴者入力画面での入力があったときに更新され、それまでは何も記憶されないものとする。

（３）本実施形態の特徴
上記のように、番組の放映終了時などにおいて視聴者入力画面（図８）が表示され、視聴を行ったユーザと視聴した番組とが対応づけられて第２購入履歴の一部に記憶される。一方、購入画面（図９）では番組の購入を行うユーザ（購入者）と購入すべき番組とを選択できる。各ユーザは番組の購入条件を購入条件設定画面（図７）で自由に設定でき、設定された購入条件は購入条件情報として記憶される。ユーザが購入画面で番組を購入しようとすると、購入しようとする番組がそのユーザにより既に購入された番組か否かが検索され（図１０のＳ１２）、既に購入された番組である場合はその番組が購入者自身の設定した購入条件に該当するか否かが判断される（同Ｓ１３）。購入条件に該当する場合はその番組の購入が行われ（同Ｓ１４）、該当しない場合は購入されない。即ち、各ユーザが自由に設定した購入条件に該当する番組が自動的に購入され、複数のユーザの多様な番組購入のニーズに対応できる。例えば、父がある番組を視聴購入したものの実際視聴者入力画面で視聴をした旨を入力したのは父以外の利用者、例えば兄であった場合は、再び父がその番組の視聴購入を選択した場合は購入処理を実行することなどが可能である。また、父がある番組を視聴購入し、視聴をした旨を入力したのも父であった場合は、再び父がその番組の視聴購入を選択した場合は購入処理を実行しないようにすることも可能である。あるいは、以前あるユーザがＳＤで視聴した番組を再びそのユーザがＨＤで視聴購入あるいは録画購入することも可能である。

＜その他の実施形態＞
