本発明は、原子力発電所で呼吸用保護具として使用される防護マスク(全面マスク又は半面マスク)の放射能の除去並びに一般の汚れを洗浄する除染・洗浄装置に関するものである。

原子力発電所内で発生する使用済みの防護マスクは、これまで人手で一つ宛除染・洗浄を行っていた。
また、一般産業用の洗浄装置は存在するが、この種の洗浄装置では防護マスクを構成するゴム材を含む部分を洗浄でき、かつマスクの狭隘部まで十分に洗浄できる装置がなかった。

そこで防護マスクの除染を自動化し、作業労力の低減を図ること、及び防護マスクのようなゴム材を含むマスクの狭隘部まで十分に洗浄できる装置を提供することを課題とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
原子力発電所内で呼吸用保護具として使用されている防護マスクに付着した放射能の除去及び一般汚れの洗浄において、駆動シャフト8によって回転可能で、半面防護マスクaを支持する複数個のマスク固定枠10,10′を備えた洗浄かご7を備えた除染・洗浄部1を有し、該除染・洗浄部1に高圧のスプレ−ノズル5と、乾燥と消毒水噴霧用のエア−ノズル5′が装着され、かつ装置内の汚染雰囲気の装置外への漏洩を防ぐ排気装置を設けた。
高圧ポンプの駆動、電力及び圧縮空気供給電力を同一供給源より送るようにした全面防護マスク除染・洗浄部1′を設けた。
除染・洗浄部1内に設けた洗浄かご7は駆動シャフト8の下端に固着したマスク固定枠取付円板11と、該マスク固定枠取付円板11に等配されたマスク固定枠10よりなり、除染・洗浄部1へのマスクaの出し入れは覗き窓付ドア2を開閉することにより行うようにした。
洗浄かご7にマスク引掛部の高いマスク固定枠10とマスク引掛部の低いマスク固定枠10′とを交互に配設した。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明を要約すると、原子力発電所内で使用される半面マスク又は全面マスクの放射能の除染並びに一般汚れの洗浄において、洗浄系に高圧ポンプを用いたジェットスプレ−洗浄を使用し、洗浄後に水切り用のエア−ブロ−を使用し、エア−ブロ−で乾燥した後に消毒用噴霧機で消毒し、装置内の汚染雰囲気を排出する排気装置から構成される。

ステンレス製の除染・洗浄部1の前面には、マスクaを出し入れする覗き窓付きの大型のドア2がヒンジで開放可能に設けられている。このドア2には、ドアの内側に付着した汚染水滴が、ドアを開けた際に床などに飛散するのを防止する樋状の雫受け3を有している(図9)。ドア2の内面に付着した汚染水滴はドア2を開けると、下部に固定されている雫受け3に落下し回収される。この雫受け3は、ドアに固定されているので、ドア2の開閉角度に関わらず確実に落下する雫を受けることが出来る。

また、除染・洗浄系は、高圧の洗浄水ポンプ4により発生される高圧水をスプレ−ノズル5からマスクaに向って噴射させる。この洗浄水ポンプ4は、図の例では半面マスク除染・洗浄部と全面マスク除染・洗浄部の中間部に設置されている(図2)。また、その圧力は、マスクaを損傷させず、かつ除染・洗浄力が最も得られる圧力を発生させている。除染・洗浄水は、タンク6に貯められ循環使用される。
一方、マスクaを固定する専用の洗浄かご7(図4,図6)は、上部より駆動シャフト8を介して接続されているモ−タ−9により回転する。洗浄かご7のマスク固定枠10は、マスクaの形状に合わせた形状を有し、上部から片手でマスクの出し入れができるようになっている。マスクaの装着状態を図5に示す。

図6を参照して洗浄かご7を構成する個々のマスク固定枠10について説明する。洗浄かご7は通常12個のマスク固定枠10で構成されている。即ち12個の場合30°に1個宛とりつけられている。マスク固定枠10は一つ置きに高さの高低がついている。図7の右側が高さの高い方のマスク固定枠10、左側の方が低いマスク固定枠10′である。マスク固定枠10は図8に示す形状をなし、ステンレス製の丸棒を材料としている。マスク固定枠10は取付円板11への固定部10aに連続する上部水平部10bと、上部水平部10bに続く垂直支持部10cと、垂直支持部10cの下部から水平に折曲げられた下部水平部10dと、下部水平部10dの端から上方に稍拡開して立上る立上り部10eと、立上り部10eの上部を継ぐ中間水平部10fとからなっている。前記マスク固定枠10の高い方、低い方の差は、垂直支持部10cの長さの相違のみである。さてこのような高い固定枠10と低い固定枠10′が一つ置きに取付円板11の周縁に取付けられ、垂直支持部10cの中間部を支持リング12で保持している。

4)所定時間後エア−ブロ−用スイッチ13を操作して乾燥させる。
5)乾燥したマスクaを消毒エア−用スイッチ14を操作してエア−ノズルから噴霧して消毒する。
6)完了、ドア2を開けてマスクaを取出す。

請求項1により、マスクの洗浄を自動化でき除染洗浄作業を安全かつ容易に行うことができる。
