パーキンソン病患者にみられる歩行障害の中でも特に改善の難しいすくみ足に対して、杖に目印となる「ひも」「棒」をつけることが考えられてきたが、ひっかかったり、足にあたったりして、転倒の危険性が高かった。
【解決手段】
杖にレーザー発光器3をつける。投影された線状光を目印にすることで歩行の第一歩を可能とし、転倒の危険性を低下させる。
