にPRRSウイルスが侵入すると、農場内にウイルスが存在

に、0.01%ブリリアントブルーFCF溶液の噴霧吸引処
理を実施した。4%ブリリアントブルーFCF溶液を農場内
の水道水を用いて400倍希釈して0.01%ブリリアント
ブルーFCF溶液に調整した。この0.01%溶液を噴霧器
により哺乳豚および離乳子豚の頭部を中心に薬剤を噴霧
した。子豚の呼吸により、霧状になった薬剤が子豚の鼻
腔、気管、肺に吸引されるように処理した。薬剤の噴霧
吸引処理は毎日1回実施した。その結果、表4に示すよう
に、無処理群では82頭の哺乳豚の内14頭が死亡し、69頭
の離乳子豚の内7頭が呼吸器症状を呈して死亡した。一
方、薬剤の噴霧吸引処理を実施した群では、65頭の哺乳
豚の内1頭が死亡し、64頭の離乳子豚は死亡ゼロであっ
た。以上のように、PRRSウイルスが原因で死亡する子豚
を、薬剤の噴霧吸引処理することにより死亡率を激減さ

施した。4%クリスタルバイオレット溶液と4%ブリリア
ントブルーFCF溶液を等量に混合し、農場内の水道水を
用いて400倍希釈して、0.005%混合溶液を調製し
た。この混合溶液を噴霧器により哺乳豚および離乳子豚
の頭部を中心に薬剤を噴霧した。子豚の呼吸により、霧
状になった薬剤が子豚の鼻腔、気管、肺に吸引されるよ
うに処置した。これらの処置は毎日1回実施した。この
結果、表3に示すように、無処理群では152頭の哺乳豚の
内20頭が死亡し、171頭の離乳子豚の内9頭が呼吸器症状
を呈して死亡した。一方、薬剤の噴霧吸引処理を実施し
た群では、169頭の哺乳豚および135頭の離乳子豚での死
亡は0頭であった。以上のように、PRRSウイルスが原因
で死亡していた子豚を、本薬剤の噴霧吸引処理をするこ
