ミネッセンス素子においては、有機化合物からなり互い
に積層された電子輸送層、蛍光体発光層及び正孔輸送層
が陰極及び陽極間に配された構成の有機エレクトロルミ
ネッセンス素子であって、蛍光体蛍光層が、上記(A1)
式のテトラフェニルブタジエン化合物を含む薄膜からな
るので、螢光体発光層がアモルファス状態で、効率良く

びR14が共に水素で、4個のフェニル核の内のアルコオ
キシル基を有していないフェニル核が2個存在する場合
を除く)ことを特徴とする有機エレクトロルミネッセン
