は陳列方法として横積みする場合が多いため、袋上面が
購買者の目に常に触れることとなる。したがって、チャ
ックが袋上面の中央部に存すると、チャック及びその周
辺を含め当該箇所に印刷を施すことができず、印刷をな
し得る面積が著しく減じることとなるほか、印刷が左右
に分離せざるを得ず、商品自体の広告効果、美観を損な
うことにもなる。かかる点は、製造物責任法が施行され
た今日において、商品に付する印刷量が飛躍的に増大し
たことに鑑みると、商品包装の外面に印刷スペースを確
保することは極めて重要である。更に、中央部に位置づ
けられたチャックは、袋が拡張するとそのテンションが
緩み、チャック自体がうねるようにゆがんだ状態となっ
