【発明の詳細な説明】 産業上の利用分野 本発明はCATV装置等の電子機器に用いられる操作装置
に関するものである。 従来の技術 従来から、CATV業界においての電子機器にはその操作
を離れた場所から可能にするため、リモートコントロー
ル送信機が添付されている場合が多い。すなわち、通常
電子機器の操作はリモートコントロール送信機の操作ボ
タンにより行なわれる。しかし、リモートコントロール
送信機が故障したり、紛失した場合の予備として、電子
機器側でも操作が行なえるよう、最小限必要な操作機能
を設けているのが普通である。 以下図面を参照しながら、上述した従来の電子機器操
作装置の一例について説明する。 第4図は従来の電子機器操作装置の前面斜視図、第5
図は第4図のY−Y線断面図、第6図は第4図における
C矢視一部切欠平面図である。第4図ないし第6図にお
いて、15は筐体カバー、16は操作ボタン、17は筐体カバ
ー前方の凹部、18は筐体カバーと一体成形された操作ボ
タンの基部、19は操作ボタンの腕部、20はパネル、21は
スリット、22は筐体本体、23はプリント基板、24はスイ
ッチ、25は操作ボタンの足、26はスイッチの可動部、27
は当てリブである。 以上のように構成された電子機器操作装置について、
以下その動作について説明する。 筐体カバー15前方の一部に凹部17を形成し、この部分
に操作ボタン16を配した電子機器操作装置において、操
作ボタン16は筐体カバー15と一体的に成形したもので、
かつその腕19は基部18に対して薄肉に形成し、操作ボタ
ン16を矢印B(第5図)の如く押すことにより、プラス
チックの弾性によりたわむものである。また表面にはパ
ネル20が設けてあり、これは可動な操作ボタン16と筐体
カバー15を一体成形するため必然的に生ずるスリット21
をカバーするとともに操作の説明表示を行なうものであ
る。一方、筐体本体22には電子機器の操作に必要なスイ
ッチ24を直接取付けたプリント基板23が固定されてお
り、前記操作ボタン16の足25の先端に中心がほぼ一致し
てスイッチ24の可動部26が配置されている。さらに操作
ボタン16の足25の先端とスイッチ24の可動部26の先端の
寸法精度が要求されるため、筐体本体22とプリント基板
23の上下位置を精度良く規制するため、当てリブ27を筐
体カバー15と一体的に形成しかつ操作ボタン16の近傍に
設けたものである。 発明が解決しようとする問題点 しかしながら上記のような筐体カバーと操作ボタンを
一体成形した構成では、プラスチック金型の構造上セッ
トの天面にしか操作ボタンを設けることができず、デザ
インや機能上大きな制約を受けていた。また、操作ボタ
ンと筐体カバーを一体成形するための必然的に生ずるス
リットをカバーするためのパネルが表面に必要となり、
コスト高になるという問題点を有していた。 本発明は上記問題点に鑑み、セット前面に操作ボタン
を配し、かつ直接プリント基板に取付けたスイッチを前
面から操作することのでき、かつパネルを必要としない
電子機器操作装置を提供することを目的とするものであ
る。 問題点を解決するための手段 上記問題点を解決するために本発明の電子機器操作装
置は、操作ボタンを筐体カバーと別ピースで樹脂成形
し、これらの2つのピースを組合せて一体とし、前記操
作ボタンは筐体カバー前面に配設するという構成を備え
たものである。 作用 上記構成によって、前記パネル等の部品を必要とする
ことなく、メインプリント基板に直付けされたスイッチ
の操作をセットの前面より可能ならしめるものである。 実 施 例 以下、本発明の一実施例の電子機器操作装置について
図面を参照しながら説明する。 第1図は本発明の一実施例における電子機器操作装置
の前面斜視図、第2図は第1図のX−X線断面図、第3
図は操作ボタンの斜視図である。第1図ないし第3図に
おいて、1は筐体カバー、2は操作ボタン、3はボタン
部、4は操作ボタンの腕、5は操作ボタンの外枠、6は
操作ボタンの爪部、7は筐体カバーの操作ボタン取付
孔、8はストッパー、9はリブ、10は筐体本体、11はス
イッチ、12はプリント基板、13は操作ボタンの足、14は
当てリブである。 以上のように構成された電子機器操作装置について、
以下その動作について説明する。 筐体カバー1の前面に操作ボタン2を配した電子機器
操作装置において、操作ボタン2は筐体カバー1とは別
ピースとし、樹脂成形により形成されており、これらの
操作ボタン2と筐体カバー1とは機械的に取付けられた
ものである。操作ボタン2は、第3図に示すようにボタ
ン部3、操作ボタンの腕4、操作ボタンの外枠5から構
成され、操作ボタン2の爪部6を筐体カバー1の操作ボ
タン取付孔7に引っかけ、そこを支点として操作ボタン
2を回転させ、操作ボタン2の外枠5を筐体カバー1の
ストッパー8に押し込んで止めることにより、操作ボタ
ン2のリブ9を筐体カバー1の内側に押しつけ、プラス
チックの弾性を利用して確実に操作ボタン2を筐体カバ
ー1に固定する。ボタン部3を矢印A(第2図)の如く
押すことにより、操作ボタンの腕4がたわむものであ
る。一方、筐体本体10には、電子機器の操作に必要なス
イッチ11を直接取付けたプリント基板12が固定されてお
り、前記操作ボタンの足13によりスイッチ11を動作させ
る。さらに操作ボタンの足13とスイッチ11の先端の寸法
精度が要求されるため、筐体本体10とプリント基板12の
上下位置を精度良く規制するため、当てリブ14を筐体カ
バー1と一体成形しかつ操作ボタン2の近傍に設けたも
のである。 以上のように本実施例によれば、デザインや機能上制
約を受けずに筐体カバー1の前面に操作ボタン2を取付
けることができる。操作ボタン2のみをボタンとしての
機能に適した材質を変えることも可能であるし、またデ
ザイン上では色調を自由自在に変えることもできる。従
来スリットをカバーするために設けたパネルも必要とし
ないので部品コストを削減することができる。 発明の効果 以上のように本発明によれば、操作ボタンを別成形部
品とすることにより、金型構造上一体成形では難しい、
筐体カバーの前面にボタンを配することが可能となり、
その実用的効果は大なるものがある。
