Abstract
Description
・透過%は、用語が意味するように、透過される光の量、すなわち、光学物体についての入射光の出射光に対する比率の尺度である。
・ヘイズは、広角散乱の尺度であり、コントラストの喪失、又は乳白色の外観を引き起こす。
・透明度(clarity)は、狭角散乱の尺度であり、基材を通して見たときに、物体の細部が見えなくなることを引き起こす。透明度はまた、距離依存性であり、これは、物体が基材を通してより遠くで見られると、細部がより見えなくなることを意味する。
180°剥離接着強度
剥離接着強度を以下の方法で測定し、これは全般的にASTM D 3330-90に記載の手順に従った。剥離接着強度は、ZwickモデルZ005引張試験機(Zwick USA,Kennesaw,GA)を使用して、72°F(22℃)及び相対湿度(RH)50%にて測定した。幅1インチ(2.54センチメートル)×長さ約5インチ(12.7センチメートル)の寸法のテープ試験片を、予め清浄にしたステンレス鋼(SS)の平坦な硬質基材に適用し、溶媒(メチルエチルケトン又はヘプタンのいずれか)及び清浄なリントフリーティッシュで1回拭くことによって清浄にして、次いで使用前に空気乾燥させた。SS基材の厚さは0.052インチ(1.31ミリメートル)であった。テープ片を基材に適用するために、機械的ローラー機又は手で操作された4.5ポンド(約2キログラム)の硬質ゴムローラーを使用して、基材表面との密接な接触を確実にした。試験片を、調製直後に試験した。テープ試験片の自由端をロードセル装置に取り付け、片を180°の剥離角度を提供するように配向させた。基材を機器上の可動プラテンに取り付けた。剥離接着試験は、12インチ(30.48センチメートル)/分の一定速度で実施し、平均剥離接着力をオンス/インチで記録し、ニュートン/デシメーター(N/dm)に換算した。3回の測定結果を平均して報告値を得た。
正しいMVTRは、ASTM E-96-80に従って測定した。直径3.8cmの試料を、それぞれ5.1cm2の楕円形開口部を有する、2枚のホイル接着剤リングの接着剤含有表面の間に配置した。各リングの孔を注意深く整列させた。指圧を用いて、平坦で、しわがなく、露出した試料中に空隙領域がない、ホイル/試料/ホイル組立品を形成した。

実施例1
テープ1の片の接着剤表面を、厚さ1.2ミル(30マイクロメートル)の(BOPP)二軸延伸ポリプロピレンのシートにラミネート加工した。次いで、この構造体を、テープ表面を火炎に向けて火炎プロセス装置に通した。プロセス条件を表1に示す。
実施例1のテープを正方形の切片に切断し、隆起したリムを有する非接着性側をテープ-2の試料の接着ウインドウにラミネート加工した。橙色のBIC蛍光ペンを使用して、実施例1のテープがラミネート加工によってテープ-2に接合された領域に沿って橙色のインクの線を引いた。そのインクは、実施例1のテープの非接着性側上の突出リムとテガダーム(Tegaderm)PSAコーティングとの間に作り出された空間により、実施例1のテープの裏側とテープ-2の接着剤との間に流れることができた。
実施例1のテープの1/2インチ×4インチ(1.3cm×10cm)の引き裂き片の一端を掴み、ほぼ中央で長さ方向に2.75インチ(7.0cm)引き裂いた。黒色インクを有する透明なBicボールペンを、穿孔されたテープがペンケースの周りで上向きにある角度で曲がることを可能にするズボンテープ方式(trouser taped fashion)で巻き付けた。最初に一方の側を貼り、次いで、次の引き裂かれ分割された側を反対方向にペンに巻き付けて、2つのテープを交差させ、第2のテープを第1のテープの裏側上にあるリムに接着させた。ペン内のインクははっきりと見え、テープの巻き付けられた切片は、いくらかの加えられた引張力の下で一緒に保持された。
テープ-3の試料を剥離ライナーに接着し、レーザー穿孔して、図5に示したようなプラス記号のパターンを形成させた。剥離ライナーを除去し、上記の方法を使用してテープのMVTRについて試験した。そのデータを表3に提示する。
1.2ミル(30マイクロメートル)の厚さを有するコロナ処理されたSBOPP(同時二軸延伸ポリプロピレン)フィルムであるフィルム、及び裏側上のウレタン系LABコーティングを、PSA-1を用いて1.1ミル(28マイクロメートル)の厚さにホットメルトコーティングして、テープ物品を形成させた。接着剤表面を剥離ライナー(LOPAREX厚さ1.6ミル(41マイクロメートル)のBOPPシリコーンコーティングライナー)で被覆し、形成された構造体を、物品のSBOPPフィルム側で上記のように火炎穿孔した。剥離ライナーを除去した。得られた有孔物品は図3A及び図3Bに示されており、リム341を有する孔340がはっきり見える。

第1の主面及び第2の主面を有する接着剤層であって、前記接着剤層の第2の主面が前記バッキング層の第1の主面と接触している、接着剤層と、
第1の主面及び第2の主面を有する剥離ライナー層であって、前記剥離ライナー層の第2の主面が前記接着剤層の第1の主面と接触している、剥離ライナー層と、
を含む、積層体を含む多層接着剤物品を提供することと、
少なくとも前記バッキング層及び前記接着剤層を貫通して火炎又はレーザー穿孔を行うことと、を含む、方法。 - 前記火炎又はレーザー穿孔が前記バッキング層を貫通して行われ、前記剥離ライナー層が部分的に又は完全に穿孔される、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記火炎又はレーザー穿孔が前記剥離ライナー層を貫通して行われ、前記剥離ライナー層が完全に穿孔される、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記バッキング層が、配向ポリプロピレン、ポリエステル、又はポリイミドを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記バッキング層が二軸延伸ポリプロピレン(BOPP)を含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記接着剤層が、(メタ)アクリレート感圧接着剤若しくはシロキサン系感圧接着剤、又はこれらのブレンド若しくは二重層を含み、且つ連続又は不連続である、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 積層体を含む多層接着剤物品を提供することが、バッキング層、接着剤層、及び剥離層を含む多層物品を形成することを含むか、又はバッキング層及び接着剤層を含む予め形成された接着テープ物品を剥離層に接触させることによる、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記剥離層を除去し、前記穿孔された接着剤層を露出させることを更に含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 有孔テープ物品を形成する方法であって、
第1の主面と第2の主面とを有するテープバッキングを提供することと、
火炎穿孔又はレーザー穿孔によって前記テープバッキングを穿孔することと、
接着剤が孔に接触しないように、前記穿孔されたテープバッキングの第1の主面上に接着剤層を選択的にコーティングすることと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記穿孔されたテープの第1の主面上に接着剤層を選択的にコーティングすることが印刷を含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
