Abstract

Claims (12)
- エアロゾル送達装置であって、
エアロゾル前駆体組成物を保持するように構成されたリザーバを取り囲む少なくとも1つのハウジングと、
加熱要素と、
周囲大気圧とエアロゾル送達装置の少なくとも一部を通る空気流によって引き起こされる圧力との差圧の測定値を発生するように構成されたセンサであって、差圧の測定値を対応する電気信号に変換するように構成されている、センサと、
加熱要素およびセンサに連結されたマイクロプロセッサであって、マイクロプロセッサは、対応する電気信号を受信し、差圧が少なくとも閾値差圧である場合にのみアクティブモードで動作するように構成されており、アクティブモードにあるマイクロプロセッサはエアロゾル前駆体組成物の構成要素をアクティブ化し、気化させるように加熱要素を制御するように構成されている、マイクロプロセッサとを備える、エアロゾル送達装置。 - センサは、微小電気機械システムベース(MEMSベース)のセンサである、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- センサは、異なる方向におけるセンサへの圧力に基づいて差圧の測定値を発生するように構成された多方向電気機械圧力センサである、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- センサおよびマイクロプロセッサが防水材料にポッティングされて、センサおよびマイクロプロセッサを防水性にする、あるいは、水、エアロゾル前駆体組成物、またはエアロゾル前駆体組成物の気化した構成要素に耐性があるようにする、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- マイクロプロセッサが、センサからの対応する電気信号のうちの、所定の周波数のみを有する電気信号に応答して、エアロゾル送達装置の外部のデバイスからの他の周波数を有する電気信号がマイクロプロセッサをアクティブモードで動作させるのを阻止する、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- センサは複数の周波数モードから選択可能な周波数モードで動作可能であり、マイクロプロセッサは、センサの周波数モードを選択して制御するように構成されており、
複数の周波数モードは、第1の周波数モードと、第2の周波数モードとを含み、センサによる電力消費がより大きく、測定値の分解能がより高い、より低い周波数での第2の周波数モードに対して、第1の周波数モードは、センサによる電力消費がより小さく、測定値の分解能がより低い、より高い周波数にある、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。 - エアロゾル送達装置を形成するためにカートリッジと連結された、または連結可能である制御本体であって、カートリッジは、エアロゾル前駆体組成物を保持するように構成されたリザーバを含み、エアロゾル前駆体組成物の構成要素をアクティブ化し気化させるように制御可能な加熱要素を装備しており、制御本体は、
ハウジングと、ハウジング内に、
周囲大気圧と制御本体の少なくとも一部を通る空気流によって引き起こされる圧力との差圧の測定値を発生するように構成されたセンサであって、差圧の測定値を対応する電気信号に変換するように構成されている、センサと、
