Abstract
Description
式1:HI+CF3COX→CF3COI+HX。
少なくとも1種のハロゲン化水素は、フッ化水素(HF)、塩化水素(HCl)、及び臭化水素(HBr)からなる群から選択される。
式2:CF3COI→CF3I+CO。
この実施例では、上記のように、より高い温度における式1によるヨウ化水素及びトリフルオロアセチルクロリドからのトリフルオロアセチルヨージドの製造を実証する。一連の23回の実験において、等モル量のトリフルオロアセチルクロリド及び無水ヨウ化水素を予熱器に通し、約100℃の温度に加熱した。加熱した反応物を、直径3/8インチ(9.5mm)、長さ6インチ(152mm)のステンレス鋼管に通した。この管は、実験に応じて、200℃〜350℃の範囲の温度に加熱し、各実験の前に窒素で少なくとも1時間パージして、水分を追い出した。21回の実験では、管は、いくつかの触媒のうちの1つを含んでいた。残りの2回の実験では、管は触媒を含んでいなかった。接触時間は、10秒〜30秒で変化させた。各実験の全ての退出蒸気をGC分析及びGC−MS分析のための試料バッグに回収した。結果を表1、2、及び3に示す。

Claims (10)
- トリフルオロヨードメタンを生成するための気相処理方法であって、
ヨウ化水素と、トリフルオロアセチルクロリド、トリフルオロアセチルフルオリド、トリフルオロアセチルブロミド、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種のトリフルオロアセチルハライドと、を含む反応物流を提供することと、
前記反応物流を第1の触媒の存在下で約25℃〜約400℃の第1の反応温度で反応させて、トリフルオロアセチルヨージドを含む中間生成物流を生成することと、
前記中間生成物流を第2の触媒の存在下で約200℃〜約600℃の第2の反応温度で反応させて、トリフルオロヨードメタンを含む最終生成物流を生成することと、を含む、処理方法。 - 前記反応物流を反応させる前記工程において、前記第1の反応温度が約40℃〜約120℃である、請求項1に記載の処理方法。
- 前記提供する工程において、前記反応物流が約500重量ppm未満の酸素を含み、前記ヨウ化水素が約500重量ppm未満の水を含む、請求項1に記載の処理方法。
- 前記反応物流を反応させる前記工程において、前記第1の触媒が、活性炭、メソカーボン、ステンレス鋼、ニッケル、ニッケル−クロム合金、ニッケル−クロム−モリブデン合金、ニッケル−銅合金、銅、アルミナ、白金、パラジウム、金属炭化物、非金属炭化物、又はこれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載の処理方法。
- 前記中間生成物流を反応させる前記工程において、前記第2の触媒が、ステンレス鋼、ニッケル、ニッケル−クロム合金、ニッケル−クロム−モリブデン合金、ニッケル−銅合金、銅、アルミナ、炭化ケイ素、白金、パラジウム、レニウム、活性炭、メソカーボン、又はこれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載の処理方法。
- 前記中間生成物流を反応させる前記工程において、前記第2の反応温度が約250℃〜約500℃である、請求項1に記載の処理方法。
- 前記中間生成物流中の有機化合物が、全有機化合物のGC面積%において、約10%〜約99%のトリフルオロアセチルヨージド、約1%〜約90%の未反応トリフルオロアセチルハライド、約0.010%未満のトリフルオロヨードメタン、並びにトリフルオロアセチルヨージド、トリフルオロアセチルハライド、及びトリフルオロヨードメタン以外の約15%未満の有機化合物を含む、請求項1に記載の処理方法。
- 未反応トリフルオロアセチルハライドを前記中間生成物流から分離する追加の工程と、
前記分離したトリフルオロアセチルハライドを前記反応物流に戻す追加の工程と、
未反応ヨウ化水素を前記中間生成物流から分離する追加の工程と、
前記未反応ヨウ化水素を前記反応物流に戻す追加の工程と、
未反応トリフルオロアセチルヨージドを前記最終生成物流から分離する追加の工程と、
前記分離した未反応トリフルオロアセチルヨージドを前記中間生成物流に戻す追加の工程と、を更に含む、請求項1に記載の処理方法。 - 組成物であって、
少なくとも99重量%のトリフルオロヨードメタンと
1ppm〜500ppmのクロロトリフルオロエタンと、
500ppm未満のヘキサフルオロエタンと、
500ppm未満のトリフルオロメタンと、
100ppm未満の一酸化炭素と、
1ppm未満の塩化水素と、を含む、組成物。 - トリフルオロアセチルフルオリド、ヘキサフルオロプロパノン、トリフルオロアセトアルデヒド、及びトリフルオロアセチルクロリドからなる群から選択される、合計で1ppm〜500ppmの化合物を更に含む、請求項9に記載の組成物。
