Claims (30)

ハブと、前記ハブから伸びる細長い拡張器本体とを有する拡張器と、

- 前記開口部を有する前記ロック機構の前記部分は、前記開口部を通る前記ガイドワイヤの通過を容易にするために面取りされている、請求項1から17のいずれか一項に記載のアクセス装置。

前記アクセス装置は、
ガイドワイヤ止めを有し、前記ガイドワイヤ止めは、ガイドワイヤの隣接するセクションに対して相対的に前記ガイドワイヤの断面積を拡大する形状を有する、ガイドワイヤと、
前記ガイドワイヤの周りに同軸的に配置されるように構成された拡張器と、
前記拡張器が前記ガイドワイヤの周りに同軸的に配置される前に、前記拡張器に取り外し可能に係合されるロック機構であって、前記ロック機構は、前記ガイドワイヤを受容し、前記ガイドワイヤ止めが開口部を通過することを阻止するように構成された大きさ及び形状の前記開口部を有する部分を含み、前記ロック機構は、ロック解除状態からロック状態に移動するように構成され、前記ロック機構は、前記ガイドワイヤが前記ロック機構を介して前記拡張器に対して相対的に近位方向および遠位方向に軸線方向へ移動することを可能にするように前記ロック機構が前記ロック解除状態にあるときに前記ガイドワイヤから前記ロック機構が解除され、前記ロック機構は、前記拡張器の少なくとも一部に対して相対的に前記ガイドワイヤの部分が前記遠位方向への少なくとも軸線方向への移動することを制限するように前記ロック機構がロック状態にあるときに前記ガイドワイヤと係合され、前記ロック機構及び前記拡張器は、更に、前記開口部が貫通する前記ロック機構の部分の少なくとも一部に当接する前記ガイドワイヤ止めとともに、前記ガイドワイヤを前記拡張器に対して近位方向に軸線方向に移動させることにより、前記ロック機構を前記拡張器から取り外すことができるように構成される、前記ロック機構と
を備える。 - 前記ガイドワイヤの前記部分の前記遠位方向への少なくとも軸線方向への移動は、前記ロック機構と前記拡張器との間の接触によって阻止される、請求項19に記載のアクセス装置。
- 前記ガイドワイヤ止めは、前記拡張器を介して受容可能である、請求項19から20のいずれか一項に記載のアクセス装置。
- 前記拡張器は、前記ロック機構が全体的に遠位方向に前記拡張器を通過することを阻止するように、前記ロック機構に対する相対的なサイズおよび形状を有する、請求項19から21のいずれか一項に記載のアクセス装置。
- 前記ガイドワイヤ止めは、前記ガイドワイヤ内に配置された外向き突出部である、請求項19から22のいずれか一項に記載のアクセス装置。
- 前記ロック機構は、前記拡張器の少なくとも一部の近位側の位置で前記ガイドワイヤと係合する、請求項19から23のいずれか一項に記載のアクセス装置。
- 前記ロック機構は、前記ガイドワイヤと係合するように構成されたガイドワイヤロックを備える、請求項19から24のいずれか一項に記載のアクセス装置。
- 前記ロック機構は、少なくとも前記拡張器が前記ガイドワイヤ上に通されたときに、前記ガイドワイヤロックと前記ガイドワイヤとの間の係合によって前記ガイドワイヤと相互固定するように構成され、前記ガイドワイヤロックは、前記ガイドワイヤロックが前記ガイドワイヤと係合する前記ロック状態と前記ロック解除状態との間で移動可能であり、前記ロック状態に向かって付勢される少なくとも一つの部材を有する、請求項25に記載のアクセス装置。
- 前記ロック機構は、環状形状を有する、請求項19から26のいずれか一項に記載のアクセス装置。
- 前記ロック機構は、側面視でV字形状を有する、請求項19から26のいずれか一項に記載のアクセス装置。
- 前記ロック機構は、シースを備え、前記シースは、前記ロック機構が前記ロック解除状態にあるときに前記拡張器のハブの少なくとも一部に配置されるように構成され、前記シースは、更に、前記ロック機構が前記ロック状態にあるときに前記ガイドワイヤ止めの少なくとも一部を囲むように構成される、請求項19から28のいずれか一項に記載のアクセス装置。
- 前記ロック機構は、
前記ガイドワイヤの少なくとも一部を受け入れるように構成された内部空洞を画定する外壁と、
内部空洞内に少なくとも部分的に配置されるように構成されたロック要素とを備え、
前記ロック機構は、前記ロック機構が前記ロック解除状態にあるときに前記拡張器のハブ内に位置するように構成され、前記ロック要素は、前記ロック機構が前記ロック状態にあるときに前記ガイドワイヤ止めの少なくとも一部と係合するようにさらに構成される、請求項19から29のいずれか一項に記載のアクセス装置。
