本出願は、2017年12月22日に出願された米国特許仮出願第62/609,458号の優先権およびその利益を主張し、その内容はその全体が参照によって組み込まれる。
本開示発明は一般に、ベンゼンおよび/またはトルエンをメチル化してキシレン、特にパラキシレンを製造する触媒に関する。
● 通常の一次結晶構成ブロック単位格子から作られ、その単位格子がMWW骨格構造トポロジーを有するモレキュラーシーブ。(単位格子とは原子の空間配置であり、それが3次元空間内に嵌め込まれるとその結晶構造を記述する。そのような結晶構造は「ゼオライト骨格構造タイプのアトラス」第5版、2001年刊で議論されており、その全内容は参照によって組み込まれる。)
● 通常の二次構成ブロックから作られたモレキュラーシーブであって、この二次構成ブロックはそのようなMWW骨格構造トポロジー単位格子の2次元嵌め込みであり、1個の単位格子の厚さ、好ましくは1個のc軸単位格子の厚さの単層を形成するもの。
● 通常の二次構成ブロックから作られたモレキュラーシーブであって、この二次構成ブロックは1個または1個より多い単位格子の厚さの層であり、1個より多い単位格子の厚さの層はMWW骨格構造トポロジー単位格子の少なくとも2つの単層を積み重ね、詰め込みまたは結合することによって作られるもの。そのような二次構成ブロックの積み重ねは、規則的な様式、不規則な様式、ランダムの様式またはこれらの任意の組み合わせであることができる。および
● 任意の規則的なまたはランダムの、MWW骨格構造トポロジーを有する単位格子の2次元または3次元の組み合わせによって作られたモレキュラーシーブ。
Claims (20)
- パラキシレンを製造するプロセスであって、以下の工程を含むプロセス:
(a)ベンゼンおよび/またはトルエンを含んでいる芳香族炭化水素供給原料を、メタノールおよび/またはジメチルエーテルを含んでいるアルキル化剤と、少なくとも1つのアルキル化反応ゾーン中で、5未満の拘束指数を有するモレキュラーシーブを含んでいるアルキル化触媒の存在下およびアルキル化条件の下で接触させる工程であって、前記アルキル化触媒が希土類金属またはアルカリ土類金属の少なくとも1種およびバインダーを含んでおり、前記希土類金属またはアルカリ土類金属の少なくとも1種の大部分が前記モレキュラーシーブ上に堆積されている工程;および
(b)キシレンを含んでいる、アルキル化された芳香族製品を製造する工程。 - 前記少なくとも1種の希土類金属またはアルカリ土類金属の少なくとも70%が、前記モレキュラーシーブ上に堆積されている、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記少なくとも1種の希土類金属またはアルカリ土類金属の少なくとも90%が、前記モレキュラーシーブ上に堆積されている、請求項2に記載のプロセス。
- 前記少なくとも1種の希土類金属またはアルカリ土類金属が、ランタンまたはストロンチウムの少なくとも1種を含んでいる、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記少なくとも1種の希土類金属またはアルカリ土類金属が、ランタンを含んでいる、請求項4に記載のプロセス。
- 前記アルキル化触媒が、最終触媒の重量に基いて約1〜約5重量%の前記少なくとも1種の希土類金属またはアルカリ土類金属を含んでいる、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記モレキュラーシーブがMWW骨格構造を有する、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記モレキュラーシーブが、MCM−22、PSH−3、SSZ−25、ERB−1、ITQ−1、ITQ−2、MCM−36、MCM−49、MCM−56、EMM−10、EMM−12、EMM−13、UZM−8、UZM−8HS、UZM−37、MIT−1およびこれらの混合物から成る群から選ばれる、請求項7に記載のプロセス。
- 前記モレキュラーシーブがMCM−49を含んでいる、請求項8に記載のプロセス。
- 前記モレキュラーシーブがMCM−22を含んでいる、請求項8に記載のプロセス。
- 前記アルキル化条件が、約500℃〜約700℃の温度、少なくとも700kPa−aの圧力および約10〜1時−1の前記芳香族炭化水素供給原料と前記アルキル化剤とに基いた重量時空間速度(WHSV)を含む、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- パラキシレンを製造するプロセスであって、以下の工程を含むプロセス:
(a)ベンゼンおよび/またはトルエンを含んでいる芳香族炭化水素供給原料をメタノールおよび/またはジメチルエーテルを含んでいるアルキル化剤と、少なくとも1つのアルキル化反応ゾーン中で、MWW骨格構造のモレキュラーシーブを含んでいるアルキル化触媒の存在下でアルキル化条件の下で接触させる工程であって、前記アルキル化触媒がランタンおよびバインダーを含んでおり、前記ランタンの大部分が前記モレキュラーシーブ上に堆積されている工程;および
(b)キシレンを含んでいる、アルキル化された芳香族製品を製造する工程。 - 前記ランタンが、モレキュラーシーブ上に混練操作を用いて堆積される、請求項12に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ランタンの少なくとも70%がモレキュラーシーブ上に堆積される、請求項13に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ランタンの少なくとも90%がモレキュラーシーブ上に堆積される、請求項14に記載のプロセス。
- 前記アルキル化触媒が、最終触媒の重量に基いて約1〜約5重量%のランタンを含んでいる、請求項12〜15のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記モレキュラーシーブがMCM−49を含んでいる、請求項16に記載のプロセス。
- 前記モレキュラーシーブがMCM−22を含んでいる、請求項16に記載のプロセス。
- 前記アルキル化された芳香族製品が、キシレンの全量に基いて少なくとも35重量%のパラキシレンを含んでいる、請求項12〜18のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記アルキル化された芳香族製品が、少なくとも80重量%のキシレンを含んでいる、請求項19に記載のプロセス。
