- 前記拡散抑制部材が、前記カテーテル先端部及び前記細長シャフトの一部のガス滅菌を可能にする、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の医療用装置の包装システム。
- 前記通気性部分が、前記通気性部分を横切るエチレンオキシドガスの通過を可能にする、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の医療用装置の包装システム。
- 前記拡散抑制剤が、前記カテーテル先端部の全室内気化過酸化水素処理への曝露を制限する、請求項13に記載の医療用装置の包装システム。
- 開放型バッグ及び空洞を含む拡散抑制部材であって、前記拡散抑制部材が、細長医療用装置の一部を覆うように構成され、その結果、全室内消毒ガス及び/又は蒸気が、前記空洞内への拡散及び前記細長医療用装置の表面の接触を制限する、拡散抑制部材。

前記拡散抑制部材装置を前記細長医療用装置の一部の上に配設することと、
前記一次パッケージの前記第1の層と前記第2の層との間に、前記支持部材、細長医療用装置、及び拡散抑制部材装置を配設することと、を備える、方法。 - 滅菌ガスを利用して前記一次パッケージ内の前記細長医療用装置を滅菌することを更に備え、前記拡散抑制部材装置が、前記細長医療用装置の一部を前記滅菌ガスに曝露することを可能にする、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記滅菌ガスが、前記第1の通気性層の壁を横切る、請求項20又は請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記一次パッケージ内の前記細長医療用装置を、全室内消毒ガス及び/又は蒸気に曝露することを更に備え、前記拡散抑制部材装置が、前記消毒ガス及び/又は蒸気の前記細長医療用装置の前記被覆部分への曝露を制限するように構成される、請求項20〜22のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
