Abstract

- 付加製造プロセスをモニタリングする方法であって、指向性エネルギー源(24)を用いて、粉末材料塊の露出ビルド表面(54)に溶融池(56)を形成し、粉末材料を選択的に融合させてワークピース(W)を形成する方法であって、
溶融池(56)の形成によって発生した音響エネルギーを測定して、測定音響プロファイルを生成し、
前記指向性エネルギー源(24)によって生成されるビームを向けるために使用されるビームステアリング装置(26)に提供されるステアリングコマンドに基づいて、音響信号を測定しつつ、溶融池(56)の位置をモニタリングし、
測定音響プロファイルに応じて、付加製造プロセスの少なくとも一態様を制御し、
制御することが、基準音響プロファイルから逸脱している音響信号プロファイルに応じて、個別の動作をすることを含む、
