Abstract
Description
Claims (15)
- 中心レンズを備える誘電体コリメータであって、前記中心レンズは光入射面及び光出射面を備え、
前記光出射面は凸状かつ実質的に半球状であり、
前記光入射面は、入射光を受光し、前記入射光を透過させて、前記光出射面から放出させるように適合された、前記中心レンズの光透過部分を形成する中心表面部分であって、前記中心レンズは通常の屈折レンズとして機能する、中心表面部分と、平面であって、入射光を方向変換するように適合された、周辺に延在する環状外側表面部分であって、方向変換された光が前記光出射面においてTIRを受け、前記光入射面から放出されて戻ってきて、前記中心レンズはTIR反射レンズとして機能する、環状外側表面部分と、を備える、誘電体コリメータ。 - 前記中心レンズの前記光入射面は中心Cを備え、前記外側表面部分は、1/n×rからrの間にある距離で前記中心Cから延在する前記光入射面の一部にわたって延在し、nは前記中心レンズの材料の屈折率であり、rは実質的に半球状の前記光出射面の半径である、請求項1に記載の誘電体コリメータ。
- 前記光入射面の前記外側表面部分は、前記光入射面の半径方向の最も外側の3分の1にわたって延在する、請求項1又は2に記載の誘電体コリメータ。
- 前記光入射面の前記外側表面部分は、前記誘電体コリメータの光軸と直角をなして延在するか、又は前記誘電体コリメータの光軸に対して10°未満の角度で延在する、請求項1乃至3の何れか一項に記載の誘電体コリメータ。
- 前記光入射面の前記中心表面部分は凹状である、請求項1乃至4の何れか一項に記載の誘電体コリメータ。
- 前記光入射面の前記中心表面部分は球面及び非球面のうちの何れか1つである、請求項1乃至5の何れか一項に記載の誘電体コリメータ。
- 前記光入射面の前記中心表面部分と前記外側表面部分との間の移行部に、キンクが設けられている、請求項1乃至6の何れか一項に記載の誘電体コリメータ。
- 前記光入射面の前記中心表面部分と前記外側表面部分との間の前記移行部は連続である、請求項1乃至7の何れか一項に記載の誘電体コリメータ。
- 前記中心レンズの前記光入射面及び前記光出射面のうちの少なくとも1つは、表面テクスチャ及び/又は光拡散構造体を備える、請求項1乃至8の何れか一項に記載の誘電体コリメータ。
- 前記中心レンズの周りに延在し、前記中心レンズに接続されたTIRコリメーティング外側部分を更に備える、請求項1乃至9の何れか一項に記載の誘電体コリメータ。
- 前記中心レンズの凸状かつ実質的に半球状の前記光出射面のうちの前記光入射面に最も近い一部が除去されて、それにより前記TIRコリメーティング外側部分への前記中心レンズの機械的接続が提供され、及び/又は、
前記TIRコリメーティング外側部分は光入射面を備え、前記中心レンズの前記光入射面は、前記TIRコリメーティング外側部分の前記光入射面に対して窪み状に構成される、請求項10に記載の誘電体コリメータ。 - 前記誘電体コリメータは、TIRコリメータ、TIRフレネルレンズ、又は屈折フレネルレンズである、請求項1乃至11の何れか一項に記載の誘電体コリメータ。
- 動作中に第1の光を放出するように適合された少なくとも1つの光源と、
前記少なくとも1つの光源によって放出された光を前記光入射面で受光し、前記光のうちの前記光入射面の前記中心表面部分で受光した部分を透過させ、前記光のうちの前記光入射面の前記外側表面部分で受光した部分を方向変換及び阻止するように構成された、請求項1乃至12の何れか一項に記載の誘電体コリメータと、を備える発光デバイス。 - ハウジング及び/又は基板を更に備え、前記ハウジング及び/又は前記基板の上に少なくとも1つの光源が構成され、前記ハウジング及び/又は前記基板は、前記誘電体コリメータの前記中心レンズの周辺に延在する外側平面表面部分によって方向変換された光の一部を反射させて前記誘電体コリメータの中に戻すことを可能にするように構成及び適合されている、請求項13に記載の発光デバイス。
- 前記発光デバイスは、ランプ、照明装置、スポットランプ、又はスポットである、請求項13又は14に記載の発光デバイス。
