Claims (5)
- 車両の駆動源となる電池が収容された電池室に、冷却ファンによって車室内の空気を供給して前記電池を冷却可能な車両用電池冷却システムにおいて、
前記電池の温度を検知する電池温度センサと、
前記車室内の温度を検知する車室温度センサと、
前記車室、前記電池室及び車外を連通する排出経路と、
前記車室と前記電池室との間で空気を循環可能な循環経路と、
前記排出経路と前記循環経路との切り替えを行う切替手段と、
前記車室内の気圧が車外よりも高くなる所定の与圧条件を満たした場合に、前記電池温度センサ及び前記車室温度センサの検知結果に基づき、前記切替手段を作動させて前記排出経路又は前記循環経路を選択する制御部と、を備え、
該制御部は、
前記電池の温度が、予め設定された低冷却範囲内であって、且つ前記車室内の温度よりも高い場合に前記排出経路を選択し、
前記電池の温度が、前記低冷却範囲内であって、且つ前記車室内の温度よりも低い場合に前記排出経路を選択することを特徴とする車両用電池冷却システム。 - 前記所定の与圧条件は、前記車両の全ての窓及び全てのドアが閉状態であり、前記車室内を空調する空調装置のファンがON状態であり、且つ該空調装置が外気導入モードであるという条件であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用電池冷却システム。
- 前記制御部は、前記所定の与圧条件を満たし、且つ前記電池の温度が前記低冷却範囲の上限値以上の場合に、前記循環経路を選択して前記冷却ファンを駆動することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の車両用電池冷却システム。
- 前記低冷却範囲の上限値である高閾値温度は、前記電池温度センサの検出結果による電池温度の上昇速度と、前記制御部に記憶された高閾値温度と電池温度の上昇速度との関係を示すマップ情報と、に基づいて決定される可変値であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の車両用電池冷却システム。
- 前記制御部は、前記電池の温度が前記低冷却範囲内にある場合に、前記冷却ファンを停止又は予め設定された一定の回転数で駆動し、前記電池の温度が前記低冷却範囲の上限値以上の場合に、前記冷却ファンを前記一定の回転数よりも高い回転数で駆動することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の車両用電池冷却システム。
