いくつかの実施形態において、本発明は、本明細書に開示されるいずれかの実施形態の多層構造体を含む包装に関する。特定の一実施形態において、包装は、レトルト包装および/または殺菌包装である。様々な実施形態において、包装は、固体、スラリー、液体、または気体を収容するために使用することができる。限定ではなく例として、包装は、酸性溶液、トウモロコシ油、アルコール、食肉、チーズ、日焼け止め、シャンプー、スパイス、醤油、クリーマー、フレーバーコーヒー、牛乳、ジュース、洗剤、無菌食品、熱間充填ジュース、高脂肪食品、赤ちゃん用おしり拭き、ヨウ素溶液、サラダドレッシング、ケチャップ、ソース、およびその他の物品を収容するために使用することができる。
表1に示すように、様々な多層構造体を調製する。

相対粘度比(RVR)を、A層の成分のメルトインデックス(I2)から、ポリオレフィンのメルトインデックス(I2(PO))をアイオノマーのメルトインデックス(I2(アイオノマー))で割ることによって決定する。Aは、ブレンドの総重量に基づくポリマーブレンド中のアイオノマーの重量%である。本発明の実施例1〜12は、アイオノマー100%から形成された層と比較して同等または改善された接着性を有利に提供する。本発明の実施例1〜3および5は、表3に関連して以下に示されるように、プロセス安定性を犠牲にすることなく、そのような接着性を有利に提供した。
Claims (10)
- ポリマーブレンドであって、
1〜60g/10分のメルトインデックス(I2)を有する、エチレンと、アクリル酸およびメタクリル酸のうちの少なくとも一方とを含むコポリマーのアイオノマーであって、アイオノマーの総量が、前記ブレンドの総重量に基づいて、前記ブレンドの50〜99重量%を構成する、アイオノマーと、
0.870g/cm3以上の密度を有し、かつ20g/10分以下のメルトインデックス(I2)を有するポリオレフィンであって、前記ブレンドの総重量に基づいて、前記ブレンドの1〜50重量%を構成する、ポリオレフィンと、を含み、
前記ポリマーブレンドが、以下の式を満たし、
3.5<2.76−60*I2(PO)+308*RVR+0.023*A<4.5、
式中、I2(PO)が前記ポリオレフィンのメルトインデックス(I2)であり、RVRが前記ポリオレフィンの前記アイオノマーに対する相対粘度比率(I2(PO)/I2(アイオノマー))であり、Aが、前記ブレンドの総重量に基づく、前記ポリマーブレンド中のアイオノマーの重量%である、ポリマーブレンド。 - 前記ポリオレフィンが、直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン、低密度ポリエチレン、高密度ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、またはそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載のポリマーブレンド。
- 前記ポリオレフィンが低密度ポリエチレンまたは直鎖状低密度ポリエチレンを含む、請求項1に記載のポリマーブレンド。
- アイオノマーの総量が、前記ブレンドの少なくとも75重量%を構成する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のポリマーブレンド。
- 前記アイオノマー中の前記アクリル酸またはメタクリル酸を中和するために使用される前記金属が、Zn+2、Na+、Li+、Ca+2、K+、Mg+2、Fe+2、またはCu+2を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のポリマーブレンド。
- 前記ポリオレフィンの前記メルトインデックス(I2)が10g/10分未満である、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のポリマーブレンド。
- 各層が対向する表面を有する少なくとも2つの層を含む多層構造体であって、
A層が、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のポリマーブレンドを含み、かつ
B層が、基材を含み、B層の最上部表面が、A層の最下部表面に接着接触している、多層構造体。 - 前記基材が、金属箔、金属化フィルム、織布マット、不織布マット、スクリム、またはアイオノマーを含むフィルム層を含む、請求項7に記載の多層構造体。
- C層をさらに含み、A層の最上部表面がC層の最下部表面と接着接触しており、C層がポリオレフィンを含む、請求項8または請求項9に記載の多層構造体。
- 10インチ/分のクロスヘッド速度で、ASTM F904に基づく180度剥離試験を用いて測定したときに、A層のB層への接着力が少なくとも3N/インチである、請求項7〜9のいずれか一項に記載の多層構造体。
