Claims (5)
- 端子接触部を有する導電性の端子本体と、前記端子接触部の後端側に配置され、前記端子本体をハウジングに設置する端子保持部とを有する絶縁部材を備え、前記ハウジングに設置される端子であって、
前記ハウジングに設けられている係止部に係合することで前記ハウジングに設置されるときに廻ってしまうことを防止する廻り防止部が、前記端子保持部に設けられていることを特徴とする端子。 - 請求項1に記載の端子であって、
前記ハウジングの係止部は、アーム部とこのアーム部の先端に設けられている係止爪部とを備えて構成されており、
前記廻り防止部は、前記ハウジングに設置される途中の状態で前記係止爪部に係合する第1の被係合部と、前記ハウジングへの設置が終了したきに前記係止爪部に係合し前記ハウジングからの抜け止めをする第2の被係合部とを備えて構成されていることを特徴とする端子。 - 請求項2に記載の端子であって、
前記端子保持部には、前記ハウジングに設置されたときに、前記ハウジングと前記端子保持部との間をシールするシール部が設けられており、
前記ハウジングに設置するときの移動方向で見ると、前記ハウジングの係止部と前記廻り防止部とが前記シール部の内側に位置していることを特徴とする端子。 - 請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の端子において、
前記端子本体の端子接触部の内側には、軸方向に連通空間部が形成されており、
前記絶縁部材は、前記端子接触部の先端より前方に突出する先端絶縁部と、前記連通空間部に配置され、前記先端絶縁部と前記端子保持部間を連結する連通樹脂部とを備えていることを特徴とする端子。 - 円筒状部と、電線の芯線を保持する芯線保持部と、前記円筒状部と前記芯線保持部との間で前記円筒状部と前記芯線保持部とをつないでいる連結部とを備えた端子本体と、
前記端子本体の円筒状部の後端部と前記端子本体の連結部の前端部とに設けられ前記端子本体の円筒状部の後端部と前記端子本体の連結部の前端部とを覆っている後端絶縁部を備えた絶縁部材と、
を有し、前記後端絶縁部は、前記芯線保持部とは反対側に位置している第1の円柱状部位と、前記芯線保持部側に位置している第2の円柱状部位とを備えて構成されており、
前記第1の円柱状部位の前記芯線保持部とは反対側に位置している前側箇所には、前記第1の円柱状部位の中心軸と平行な一対の第1の平面状部が形成されており、前記一対の第1の平面状部はお互いが平行になっているとともに前記第1の円柱状部位の中心軸に対してお互いが対称になっており、
前記第1の円柱状部位の前記芯線保持部側に位置している後側箇所には、前記第1の平面状部位と平行な一対の第2の平面状部が形成されており、前記一対の第2の平面状部は前記第1の円柱状部位の中心軸に対してお互いが対称になっているとともに、前記一対の第2の平面状部間の距離の値は、前記一対の第1の平面状部間の距離の値よりも小さくなっていることを特徴とする端子。
