ポリオールBは、プロピレンオキシドとエチレンオキシドの約5500の分子量のブロックコポリマーである。これは公称官能価4.7であり、実質官能価は4未満である。これは、少なくとも80%の一級ヒドロキシル基を含む。
ポリオールCは、5700の分子量、プロピレンオキシドとエチレンオキシドの公称3官能価のブロックコポリマーである。これは、少なくとも80%の一級ヒドロキシル基を含む。
ポリオールDは、ソルビトール開始剤へ連続的にPO及びエチレンオキシドを付加することにより製造される1900の当量、公称6官能価のポリオールである。重合したエチレンオキシドはポリオールDの重量の16%を構成する。ポリオールDは水酸化カリウム酸化物重合触媒を使用して製造され、0.02ミリ当量/gより多い一官能性不純物を含む。
DEOAは、ジエタノールアミン、架橋剤である。
触媒Aは、ジメチルアミノエチルエーテルと非飛散性アミン触媒との混合物である。
触媒Bは、33%トリエチレンジアミンのジプロピレングリコール溶液と,70%ビス(ジメチルアミノエチル)エーテルのジプロピレングリコール溶液と、の混合物である。
界面活性剤Aは、商品名Tegostab(商標)B8715でEvonikにより販売されるシリコーン界面活性剤である。
界面活性剤Bは、商品名Tegostab(商標)B8783 LF2でEvonicにより販売されるシリコーン界面活性剤である。
MDIベースのポリイソシアネート(Polyisocyanate)は、30.8重量%の公称NCO含量を有する。
TDIは、トルエンジイソシアネートの2,4−及び2,6−異性体の80/20混合物である。
686gのソルビトール開始剤(Sorbitol Initiator)と、0.390gのヘキサシアノコバルト酸亜鉛触媒錯体とを、11.5Lの鋼鉄反応装置において組み合わせる。130℃での真空ストリッピングの後、反応装置は150℃に加熱され、76gの1,2−プロピレンオキシド(PO)が反応装置へ供給され、触媒を活性化する。反応装置の圧力の減少が示すように、触媒が活性化したとき、303gのPOを15g/分の速度で反応装置に供給する。この時点で、ソルビトールに加えられたプロピレンオキシドの総量(ソルビトール開始剤(Sorbitol Initiator)の形成の間に加えられたプロプレンオキシドを含む)は、ソルビトール1モル当たり約21.6モルであり、またはソルビトールのヒドロキシル基1モル当たり約3.6モルである。プロピレンオキシド供給に続いてすぐ、21.7重量%EOを含む6734gのPO及びEOのブレンドを15g/分の速度で反応装置へ加える。得られたポリエーテルポリオールは、OH価29.7mgKOH/g、約1883のヒドロキシル基当量、約11,300の分子量及び、25℃で1950cStの粘度を有する。一級ヒドロキシル基の割合は、50%未満である。末端不飽和は、0.010ミリ当量/gポリマー未満である。ポリオールは、1.5重量%のソルビトール開始剤からの残渣、80.2%の重合したプロピレンオキシド、及び18.3%の重合したエチレンオキシドを含む。
実施例2:666.5gのソルビトール開始剤(Sorbitol Initiator)、0.374gのヘキサシアノコバルト酸亜鉛触媒錯体及び5.1gのアルミニウムsec−ブトキシドを11.5Lステンレス鋼反応装置において組み合わせる。130℃での真空ストリッピングの後、反応装置を150℃へ加熱し、85gのPOを反応装置へ供給し触媒を活性化する。反応装置の圧力の減少が示すように、触媒が活性化したとき、277gのPOを15g/分の速度で反応装置に供給する。この時点で、ソルビトールに加えられたプロピレンオキシドの総量(ソルビトール開始剤(Sorbitol Initiator)の形成の間に加えられたプロプレンオキシドを含む)は、ソルビトール1モル当たり約21.2モルであり、またはソルビトールのヒドロキシル基1モル当たり約3.5モルである。プロピレンオキシド供給に続いてすぐ、21.7重量%EOを含む6454gのPOとEOのブレンドを14g/分の速度で反応装置へ加える。得られたポリエーテルポリオールはOH価29.8mgKOH/g、約1883のヒドロキシル基当量、約11,300の分子量及び、25℃で2120cStの粘度を有する。ヒドロキシル基の50%未満が一級である。末端不飽和は、ポリマーの0.010ミリ当量/gポリマー未満である。ポリオールは、1.6重量%のソルビトール開始剤からの残渣、79.7%の重合したプロピレンオキシド、及び18.7%の重合したエチレンオキシドを含む。
584gのソルビトール開始剤(Sorbitol Initiator)(584g)、0.320gのDMC触媒(0.320g)、及び5.5μLの0.15Mリン酸溶液を十分に混合し、8LのParr反応装置に加える。反応装置を撹拌しながら窒素で完全に置換し、窒素パージしながら130℃に加熱し、反応装置の内容物を乾燥させる。乾燥工程後、窒素パージを止め、反応装置の通気孔を閉じ、一定の撹拌をしながら反応装置を160℃まで加熱する。少量のPOを反応装置に加え、反応装置の圧力を20psi(140kPa)ゲージに高め、DMC触媒を活性化する。反応装置の圧力の減少が示すように、触媒が活性化するとき、初期供給工程において、反応装置の圧力を20psi(140kPa)ゲージ以下に維持するような速度で258gのPOを加える。この初期PO供給が完了するとき、1197gのEO及び4361gのPOを同時に反応装置に供給する。同時供給が完了するとき、反応装置を再度閉じ、反応混合物中の未反応のオキシドを約30分間反応させる。その後、反応装置を50℃より低い温度へ冷却し、反応装置の内容物を取り除く。生成物は、GPCによれば10,900の分子量を有する。ヒドロキシル基の50%未満が、一級である。末端不飽和は、0.010ミリ当量/gポリマー未満である。
ポリオール実施例5を再循環ループ、機械式撹拌機、及び出口ポートを備えた500mL加圧反応装置で調製する。反応装置の圧力は、プロセスコントロールコンピュータの管理下、調整弁のついた出口ポートで制御する。コンピュータは反応圧力を特定の圧力設定ポイントで維持するようにする。反応装置の流出物は圧力調整弁を通って流れ、反応の生成物を集めるサンプル収集ボトルへ入る。反応装置の内容物はマイクロポンプギアポンプ(Micropump gear pump)により再循環ループの周りを再循環する。この再循環ループは、ABB NIR分析器に取り付けられている近赤外(NIR)フローセルを備える。NIR分析器は、反応混合物中のヒドロキシル基含量、及び未反応オキシランの濃度を監視する。再循環ループは、オキシラン反応物(EO及びPO)、ソルビトール開始剤(Sorbitol Initiator)、ならびに触媒のための注入ポイントをさらに備えている。オキシラン及びソルビトール開始剤(Sorbitol Initiator)は、プロセス管理コンピュータが制御するBronkhorst M13質量流量コントローラにより、貯蔵シリンダから再循環ループへ分注される。
1536gのソルビトール開始剤(Sorbitol Initiator)及び375mgのDMC触媒を11.5Lステンレス鋼反応装置へ加える。150℃で、171gのPOを反応装置へ加え触媒を活性化する。触媒を活性化した(反応装置の圧力の低下により示される)後、さらに678gのPOを徐々に10g/分の流速、160℃の温度で反応装置へ入れる。次いで、5116gの27.4%のEO及び72.6%のPOを反応装置へ加える。これにより、69.4mgKOH/gのOH価(808のヒドロキシル基当量及び約4850の分子量に相当する)、ならびに25℃で857cStの粘度を有する中間体が生成する。
Claims (19)
- ポリウレタン発泡体を製造する方法であって、前記ポリウレタン発泡体は、ASTM 3574ボールリバウンド試験における少なくとも50%の弾性、及び/またはISO 3386による30%以下のヒステリシス損、24〜80kg/m3の発泡体密度、及び22〜40重量%のハードセグメント含有量を有し、1つ以上の工程において、かつ少なくとも1つの発泡体安定化界面活性剤、及びアルコール基とイソシアネート基との反応のための少なくとも1つの触媒の存在下で、1当量当たり少なくとも1000gのヒドロキシル当量を有する1つ以上のポリオール(複数可)を含むポリウレタン形成反応体と,少なくとも1つの架橋剤と、少なくとも1つのポリイソシアネートと、水と、を反応させることを含み、(I)少なくとも1000のヒドロキシル当量を有する前記ポリオール(複数可)は、前記ポリウレタン形成反応体の少なくとも55重量%を構成し、(II)少なくとも1000のヒドロキシル当量を有する前記ポリオール(複数可)の少なくとも20重量%は、70〜95重量%のプロピレンオキシドと、5〜30重量%のエチレンオキシドとの混合物を、開始剤化合物へ重合させることにより形成される、1つ以上のランダムコポリマー(複数可)であり、前記ランダムコポリマー(複数可)は、少なくとも5の公称ヒドロキシル官能価と、少なくとも1500g/当量のヒドロキシル当量と、1g当たり0.01ミリ当量以下の末端不飽和と、を有し、前記ランダム重合されたプロピレンオキシド及びエチレンオキシドは、前記ランダムコポリマーの総重量の少なくとも80%を構成し、さらに前記ランダムコポリマー(複数可)のヒドロキシル基の少なくとも70%は、二級ヒドロキシルである、方法。
- 前記ランダムコポリマーが、6〜8の公称ヒドロキシル官能価を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記開始剤化合物が、ソルビトールである、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記ランダムコポリマーが、1500〜2300g/当量のヒドロキシル当量を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記ランダムコポリマーが、1グラム当たり0.007ミリ当量以下の末端不飽和を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記ランダムコポリマーが、前記ランダム重合を行う前に、前記開始剤のヒドロキシル当量当たり1〜4モルのプロピレンオキシドを、1つ以上の工程において、単独重合することにより形成される、単独重合されたプロピレンオキシドの内部ブロックを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記ランダムコポリマーが、少なくとも1000のヒドロキシル当量を有する前記ポリオール(複数可)の少なくとも30重量%を構成する、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記ランダムコポリマーが、少なくとも1000のヒドロキシル当量を有する前記ポリオール(複数可)の40〜95重量%を構成する、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記発泡体密度が、24〜60kg/m3である、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1000のヒドロキシル当量を有する前記ポリオール(複数可)が、a)エチレンオキシドのポリマー、または少なくとも50重量%のエチレンオキシドと、最大50重量%の1,2−プロピレンオキシドと、の混合物、及びb)少なくとも70重量%の1,2−プロピレンオキシドと、最大30重量%のエチレンオキシドと、のポリマー、のうちの少なくとも1つを含み、前記ヒドロキシル基の少なくとも50%が、一級である、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記発泡体が、30〜40重量%のハードセグメント含有量を有する、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜11のいずれかに従い製造された高弾性ポリウレタン発泡体。
- ランダムコポリマーであって、前記ランダムコポリマーは、70〜95重量%のプロピレンオキシドと、5〜30重量%のエチレンオキシドと、の混合物を、開始剤化合物へ重合することにより形成され、前記ランダムコポリマーは、少なくとも5の公称ヒドロキシル官能価と、1当量当たり少なくとも1500gのヒドロキシル当量と、0.01ミリ当量/g以下の末端不飽和と、を有し、前記ランダム重合されたプロピレンオキシド及びエチレンオキシドは、前記ランダムコポリマーの総重量の少なくとも80%を構成し、さらに前記ランダムコポリマー(複数可)の前記ヒドロキシル基の少なくとも70%は、二級ヒドロキシルである、ランダムコポリマー。
- 6〜8の公称ヒドロキシル官能価を有する、請求項1に記載のランダムコポリマー。
- 前記開始剤化合物が、ソルビトールである、請求項13または14に記載のランダムコポリマー。
- 1500〜2300g/当量のヒドロキシル当量を有する、請求項13〜15のいずれかに記載のランダムコポリマー。
- 1グラム当たり0.007ミリ当量以下の末端不飽和を含む、請求項13〜16のいずれかに記載のランダムコポリマー。
- 前記ランダム重合を行う前に、前記開始剤のヒドロキシル当量当たり1〜4モルのプロピレンオキシドを、1つ以上の工程において、単独重合することにより形成される、単独重合されたプロピレンオキシドの内部ブロックを含む、請求項13〜17のいずれかに記載のランダムコポリマー。
- 請求項13〜18のいずれかに記載のランダムコポリマーを製造するプロセスであって、連続反応装置において定常状態重合条件を確立することと、少なくとも5個のヒドロキシル基を有する開始剤化合物、または少なくとも5個のヒドロキシル基を有する少なくとも1つの開始剤を含む開始剤化合物の混合物と、二重金属シアニド触媒錯体と、70〜95重量%のプロピレンオキシドとこれに対応して5〜30重量%のエチレンオキシドとの混合物とを、反応条件下で、前記連続反応装置に連続的に供給することと、前記連続反応装置から前記ランダムコポリマーを連続的に取り出しつつ、前記連続反応装置において前記定常状態重合条件を維持することと、を含む、プロセス。
