Abstract
Description
本明細書で使用される場合、相対語「近位」及び「遠位」は、閉鎖システムの視点から定義されるものとする。従って、近位は閉鎖システムのハンドルの方向を指し、遠位は閉鎖システムの遠位先端の方向を指す。
Claims (29)
- 動脈切開部を密封する方法であって、
ハンドル部分と、
前記ハンドル部分から延び、取り付け構造を含むシースアダプターと、
前記ハンドル部分から延びる外側カテーテルと、
前記外側カテーテルを通って延び、前記外側カテーテルが取り外し可能に固定された内側カテーテルと、
半径方向において前記外側カテーテルと前記内側カテーテルとの間にある支持チューブと、
前記外側カテーテルの遠位部分に配置された密封材と
を備える閉鎖システムを、前記動脈切開部を通って延びる処置シースを通して前進させることと、
前記シースアダプターの前記取り付け構造を前記処置シースのサイドポート又はイリゲーションラインに解放可能に取り付けることによって、前記閉鎖システムの前記シースアダプターを前記処置シースに固定することと、
前記密封材を露出させるべく前記処置シース及び前記外側カテーテルを前記内側カテーテルに対して後退させるために前記ハンドル部分を後退させることと
を含む方法。 - 前記シースアダプターを前記処置シースに固定することは、前記シースアダプターを前記サイドポート又は前記イリゲーションラインに取り付けるために、前記シースアダプターを回転方向及び軸方向に移動させることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記密封材の拡張によって前記外側カテーテルの遠位部分を拡張させることを更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記処置シースを通る前記閉鎖システムの前進中、前記内側カテーテルは前記外側カテーテルに固定されている、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記内側カテーテルを前記外側カテーテルから解放することを更に含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記密封材を前記支持チューブでタンピングすることを更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記閉鎖システムを前記処置シースから解放することを更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 動脈切開部を閉鎖するための閉鎖システムであって、
ハンドル部分と、
処置シースへの取り外し可能な取り付けのための取り付け構造を含むシースアダプターと、
前記ハンドル部分から遠位に延びる外側カテーテルであって、近位部分及び遠位部分を含む外側カテーテルと、
前記外側カテーテルを通って延びる内側カテーテルであって、前記外側カテーテルが内側カテーテルに対して軸方向に移動可能な内側カテーテルと、
前記外側カテーテルの遠位部分に配置された密封材と、
前記密封材に近接し且つ半径方向において前記外側カテーテルと前記内側カテーテルとの間にある支持チューブと
を備える閉鎖システム。 - 前記シースアダプターは、前記ハンドル部分に係合するように構成された近位フランジを備える、請求項8に記載の閉鎖システム。
- 前記シースアダプター及び前記ハンドル部分は一体である、請求項8に記載の閉鎖システム。
- 前記外側カテーテルの遠位部分は、内側スリーブと、前記内側スリーブを取り囲む外側スリーブとを備える、請求項8に記載の閉鎖システム。
- 前記外側カテーテルの近位部分が単一層を備える、請求項11に記載の閉鎖システム。
- 前記内側スリーブが第1スリットを備え、前記外側スリーブが第2スリットを備える、請求項11に記載の閉鎖システム。
- 前記第1スリットは、前記第2スリットから円周方向にずらされている、請求項13に記載の閉鎖システム。
- 前記第1スリットは、前記第2スリットから円周方向に約180度ずらされている、請求項13に記載の閉鎖システム。
- 前記内側カテーテルは、前記内側カテーテルの遠位部分に配置された拡張可能な構造体を備える、請求項8に記載の閉鎖システム。
- 動脈切開部を閉鎖するための閉鎖システムであって、
ハンドル部分と、
前記ハンドル部分から延びる外側カテーテルであって、近位部分及び遠位部分を含み、前記遠位部分は、内側スリーブと、前記内側スリーブを取り囲む外側スリーブとを含み、前記内側スリーブは第1スリットを備え、前記外側スリーブは前記第1スリットから円周方向にずらされた第2スリットを含む外側カテーテルと、
前記外側カテーテルを通って延びる内側カテーテルであって、前記外側カテーテルが取り外し可能に固定された内側カテーテルと、
前記外側カテーテルの遠位部分に配置された密封材と、
前記密封材に近接し且つ半径方向において前記外側カテーテルと前記内側カテーテルとの間にある支持チューブと
を備える閉鎖システム。 - 前記外側カテーテルの近位部分が単一層を備える、請求項17に記載の閉鎖システム。
- 前記第1スリットは、前記第2スリットから円周方向に約180度ずらされている、請求項17に記載の閉鎖システム。
- 前記第1スリット及び前記第2スリットは、配置前に前記支持チューブに対して遠位にある、請求項17に記載の閉鎖システム。
- 動脈切開部を密封する方法であって、
ハンドル部分と、
前記ハンドル部分から延び、取り付け構造を含むシースアダプターと、
前記ハンドル部分から延びる外側カテーテルと、
前記外側カテーテルを通って延び、前記外側カテーテルが取り外し可能に固定された内側カテーテルと、
前記内側カテーテルの遠位部分に配置された拡張可能な部材と、
前記ハンドル部分に取り付けられた第1アクチュエーター機構と、
前記外側カテーテルの遠位部分に配置された密封材と
を備える閉鎖システムを、前記動脈切開部を通って延びる処置シースを通して前進させることと、
前記密封材を前記動脈切開部内に配置すると共に、前記密封材を前記動脈切開部の血管壁に寄せてタンピングするために前記第1アクチュエーター機構を押し下げることと
を含む方法。 - 前記シースアダプターの前記取り付け構造を前記処置シースのサイドポート又はイリゲーションラインに解放可能に取り付けることによって、前記閉鎖システムの前記シースアダプターを前記処置シースに固定することを更に含む、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記第1アクチュエーターを押し下げることが、前記密封材を露出させるように前記外側カテーテルを近位方向に移動させることを含む、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記ハンドル部分は第2アクチュエーター機構を更に含む、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記拡張可能な部材を前記ハンドル部分内に引き込むために前記第2アクチュエーター機構を押し下げることを更に含む、請求項24に記載の方法。
- 前記閉鎖システムが、半径方向において前記外側カテーテルと前記内側カテーテルとの間に配置された支持チューブを更に備える、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記密封材は、前記支持チューブの作動によってタンピングされる、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 前記支持チューブは、前記第1アクチュエーター機構を押し下げることによって作動される、請求項27に記載の方法。
- 前記ハンドル部分は、前記拡張可能な構造体が膨張状態にあるときに前記第2アクチュエーター機構を押し下げるのを防ぐためにロックアウト機構を更に含む、請求項25に記載の方法。
