Abstract
Description

Claims (7)
- 第1の光を1つ以上の光変換層に照射するように構成されたバックライトの1つ以上の光源を制御するロジックであって、前記1つ以上の光変換層は、前記第1の光によって刺激され、前記第1の光の少なくとも一部を第2の光に変換するように構成されている、ロジックと、
1つ以上の光モジュレータを制御するロジックであって、前記1つ以上の光モジュレータは個々のエレメントを透過する光を変調するように構成されている、ロジックと、
前記1つ以上の光モジュレータに対する中間的な駆動値を決定するために、バックライト点像分布関数について少なくとも1つのライトフィールドシミュレーションを実行するロジックと、
前記第2の光の空間的な不均一性を緩和するために、前記1つ以上の光モジュレータに対する前記中間的な駆動値を調節する補償ライトフィールドを決定するロジックと、
を備える装置。 - 前記中間的な駆動値を調節するロジックをさらに備えており、前記中間的な駆動値を調節する前記ロジックはスケーラおよびルックアップテーブルのうち少なくとも1つを含んでいる、請求項1の装置。
- 前記第2の光は広いスペクトルの光である、請求項1の装置。
- 前記第2の光は、可視スペクトルの赤色、青色、および緑色部分における周波数の組み合わせを含む、請求項1の装置。
- ローカルディミングディスプレイを駆動するための方法であって、
1つ以上の個々に制御可能な光源により第1の光を量子ドット層に照射する工程であって、前記第1の光はUVスペクトル成分または青色光スペクトル成分のうち少なくとも1つを含む、工程と、
前記量子ドット層により前記第1の光を第2の光に変換する工程と、
1つ以上のライトフィールドシミュレーションにより、中間的な液晶ディスプレイ変調駆動信号を決定する工程と、
1つ以上の光源からの光の移動距離に関した空間的な色不均一性について、補償フィールドを決定する工程と、
前記中間的な液晶ディスプレイ変調駆動信号を調節することにより、色ズレを補償する工程と、
を含む方法。 - 前記移動距離は1回以上の反射を考慮に入れる、請求項5の方法。
- プロセッサを備えており、請求項5〜6のいずれかに記載の方法を実行するように構成された装置。
